Reasoning for Dropping Entries

My purpose in watching anime/reading manga is not to experience everything, but to watch everything I'm interested in. I haven't really found any metric (popularity, score, or any one persons recommendations) I can trust, so the only way to know if I'll like something is to try it.
  • The most common reason - I saw no reason to continue or wasn't enjoying myself, so I dropped.
  • I dropped a prequel/relation of it. i.e. If I drop something, I drop its sequels.
  • I dropped an anime, so I drop the related manga, or vice versa. I won't do this blindly though, since sometimes adaptions can be bad. This is the reason my manga list has so many dropped titles on it.
  • If I can't find it after searching extensively, if I can't understand the raws, or if its lost due to time.
  • In rare cases, I may just drop something because I'm confident that its not something that would interest me. This is usually only things like kids shows from the 90's, or extremely obscure movies that have no subs and that I can't bother sitting through and trying to understand the Japanese to.
  • If I plan on reading the manga instead of watching the anime, I'll drop the anime. I usually won't drop a manga if I watch an anime though (unless I disliked the anime), because in my eyes and adaption is just a way to advertise the source material.
If an anime has no tags/start date, that means it wasn't something I watched before I put it on my drop list.

I also never compromise to handling it as my demand. Some people told about spraying system. If it not much effective to make you such spraying that give you feel of spa, that is not what I suggest you to have it. Konnichiwaa, Yesterday I started with Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun. It's a story about a girl who studies the whole time and a boy who is an aggressive troublemaker. It's funny, and it nearly always ends with a cliffhanger. WARNING, THE FOLLOW CONTENT MAY HAVE SPOILERS IN IT Then it's a very difficult love, because the girl fell in love but the boy has an other sort love or something? Can anyone explains it? Well, I have to do homework :c Jaa ne >.<
