Shounen Onmyougi is a light novel authored by Mitsuri Yuki and was adopted to anime on Oct 3,2006 to Mar 13, 2007. It has 26 episode and has an English dub version as for now. The manga stopped updating on April 17, 2012 (Vol 1 chap 5), according to the site where I read manga. The story focus on the grandson of Seimei, Masashiro. Masashiro wanted to be ta great onmyouji to suprass his grandfather. But he lost his second sight, he nearly gave up but something happened unexpectedly. He saw a mononoke that no ordinaty people can see unless they have a second sight. the ending was fine to be but I'm not satisfied. I want to know what happened next but I found out that the manga discontinued and I'm having a hard time looking for it's light novel. P.S. This is my first time doing this so I barely know how to do a blog about anime.

Ok! I understand this kind of post comes very often, but even so, I STILL haven't found any anime like this that are good. Ok then, lemme tell you my criteria. The main character is cold hearted and is a MALE! He can smile and crap like that but not too much. He must be strong and has a dark past.the animation HAS TO BE GOOD! I can't stand anime with bad animation. Okay, I know I'm starting to sound really picky, but when it comes to anime it has to be exactly. I don't like school anime and romance , so it's gotta be action of adventure etc. I can take blood, so gore doesn't bother me. No he tai, ecchi and no romance, and the MAIN CHARACTER has to be all this. Not a semi main character, THE MAIN CHARACTER. Please don't suggest: Naruto- dunno why people even say that. If it's to annoy me, it's working. Death note- didn't like it. Code Geass- watched Darker than black- dropped Kuroshitsuji- kinda like Ciel, but with ability to actually do something. Tokyo Ghoul- the way Kaneki becomes in root A Bleach- nope Nura: rise of the yokai clan Nobori no ou- or something like that, forget the spelling. Black cat- PERFECT EXAMPLE. how he was at the beginning, he changed though, and it was disappointing. Well that's all. Most of her clothing is pink, what little clothing she has, and thus her hair goes well with it. Her hairstyle is BASICALLY a hime cut, but is weird: From behind her hair is wavy and really long, and from the front her sidebangs are covering her breasts because they end hand-shaped! This might be a good moment to say that technically Melona’s entire body is slime and thus her hair can take any shape she desires so, which explains the oddity. Not sure why she’d want to grope herself the whole time, but more power to her if she can do it. She also has “bunny ears” on top because. They fit her playful nature at any rate. Oh, and remember I said she was made of slime and was a shapeshifter? Well, her entire character book consists of her doing just that and cosplaying as other girls from the series or just disguising herself, which means she has A LOT of briefly-seen alternate hairstyles and hair colors. Not a huge deal or anything, but it’s pretty nice. She also turns her hair in a showerhead, hah. Or also in wings, much like Yami. Before I forget, every girl has an official palette swap and Melona’s turns her green replacing the pink, and that includes her hair. So overall she’s quite awesome and varied. Grade: A- : Looks like you like my bunny ears, tee-hee! : Think “Sounds like” would’ve been better here... Indeed I like them! They look so cute... : You can touch them! R-Really? Well, if you excuse my insolence... *rubs Melona’s bunny ears* : Ooooh! *loves it* : Ears? Now that’s a strange source of arousal. : The things I could tell you, then.... *laughs* Eyes Melona has blue eyes. Not that this is surprising, as WAY TOO MANY girls from this series have them. Worse, she has blue eyes while her hair and clothes are pink, which personally looks terrible yet anime has multiple examples of. On top of that in that palette swap I mentioned her eyes are the ONLY thing that remains its color, and exactly the same thing happens with her cosplays even of girls with non-blue eyes despite changing her hair color fine. Boo ridiculous blue eyes bias! Her only saving grace is her unusual pupils, as I like that apparently. The shape isn’t too bad, a mix of tsurime and tareme that suits her really well. She also has notable eyelashes, not terrible but they exist. Melona’s eyes are not awful but clearly her worst trait, sucks. Grade: B Body Build Interestingly Melona doesn’t have official measurements, unlike the other girls. This is because she can change her body at will, an ability I adore. She’s about the same size fellow villainess Menace though, and she’s only 157 cm tall so Melona is probably inside my ideal height or close tho, unless you count the ears of course. She’s also generously-endowed, but so are most girls in the show. That said she has a scene from the first episode where her chest grows, and since it was the first ep it sadly became too attached to her. Fanart luckily ignores it, but is part of why people refuse to watch the show. I dunno, her chest blows up so I think it’s a goofy scene. She’s fine, no worries for Melona. Anyway, I don’t mind much her chest for the above reasons and she has great legs and a sexy ass anyway. And a rather nice navel, for her costume exposes it because. She can also change size at will, seeing as she pretends to be Rana at some point, let’s not think on the implications, and later she’s also Ymir. Sadly the reveal scene for the latter came as a bit of chest expansion, but also butt one. Note she can become not just child-sized, but she can be tiny or, as seen in a manga, a GIANTESS which is really amazing! Sadly she doesn’t sit on anyone with her abundant butt. Still that scene cements Melona’s ability as a wonderful trait, and overall her many positive traits outdo the few, if annoying bad ones. Grade: A- : Oh, let me fix that! Fix wha- AAAH! *sees Melona become a giantess* : Behold MY ABUNDANT BUTT! *jumps and lands butt-first on Zettai* MMMMMPH! *loves it* : Unfair, I can’t do that! Go search for a slave of your own! : Don’t worry, it only lasts... *shrinks to regular size* ...a few seconds. : It’s like Gear 3rd! : Not surprised you’d say that...Hopefully Topaz gets it. : Bet he’s used to Googling the weird stuff Zettai talks about. So no worries. Butt Melona’s ass is AMAZING! To wit: Her rump is pretty big, she shows it often included an AMAZING shot in the S2 ED, her default clothes are a transparent miniskirt really mini and a thong so her ass is always on sight, she uses a sexy hip attack in her book beautifully, and last but not least she has the power of expanding her ass! I said this before, but more series need to learn from QsB how to make butts and butt focus. Grade: B+ Clothes Melona’s clothing is interesting to say the least. First, her clothes are also her slime so they are only “clothes” in a metaphoric sense. Not that it matters for her score, but it bears covering. Her regular clothes are one of the most perverse costumes ever, and truly so: they consist of a pink miniskirt dress that is actually missing the chest area while most of the rest is transparent, a tiny thong, and fairy-like pink shoes. Melona really is naughty and it shows. And no, for once I’m not gonna flip out at her breasts being bare because she covers her with her hair and the show doesn’t focus on her bust any more it focus on her ass or in any other girl’s chest, so she doesn’t stand out. If this was a show where every girl dressed conservatively yet Melona had this naughty dress and the show kept bringing up her chest, then yes it would be horrible. But in a show like this it works. And this is why context matters, folks. Besides her vaporous dress has A LOT of cosplays in her book. I’m too lazy to describe all the costumes of other characters so I’ll just say her names and you go Google them. Any way, she’s got: Ymir, Echidna, Elina but in her leopardess bikini, Leina, Nowa, Tomoe, and Risty. For non-characters she has a frilly kimono, bunnygirl, catgirl, race queen, scuba diver, Chinese dress, casino dealer, maid albeit bizarrely not like Airi, and demon girl. Official art adds a green bikini with support woes but a nice thong, and also cosplay of Alice from Queen’s Gate. Finally she wore a pink and white sailor uniform for the DVD specials, though like in her regular clothes her chest was bare and still covered by her hair. Overall her variety is amazing in a series where most girls have about one or two costumes most of the time, and the fact she can give herself literally any costume is very sexy. Sadly she’s mostly seen in her dress and that sucks, wish the anime had used the cosplays too. But Melona still ranks high, of course. Grade: A- Mind Personality Melona is one of The Swamp Witch’s followers and focuses on investigation and stealth assassinations. Yes, she’s a ninja and should face off Liliana. Jokes aside Melona was seen trying to kill main heroine Leina in the very first ep, and from there on she has faced other characters following orders or simply for fun. I like how she escapes with ease from Aldra’s powerful “trap you in a crystal” attack. In Rebellion she is around for most of the series pretending to be Ymir. Yes, the Ymir you see for most of the show is really Melona in disguise! The real Ymir rains on her parade, of course. Melona aimed for Ymir’s armor by the way, because Ymir is now an alchemist or something. Fine. Melona has a carefree personality, being childish and mischievous. She loves playing tricks on people, be them allies or enemies, and laughing at her mischief. She’s also frank and straightforward, which only strengthens the “childish” vibe. On missions naturally she focuses on fulfilling them, but she loves surprising her opponent and scaring them rather than killing them straight. It makes her more sadistic, which is welcome! Like I’ve said all over the blog Melona is a shapeshifter, and can turn her body in pretty much anything and have its properties. So she can make, say, a sword and cut enemies with it. Or make the Aegis shield and block anything. She can become stronger by absorbing small organisms too, in theory she could reach infinite power if she had the patience. She has the time, after all. I like her kind of shapeshifting since varied powers are my thing. I also like Touma punching, punching, and then maybe punching his enemies. Jokes aside Melona is pretty fun overall, but she lacks impact when it comes to reach top scores, a shame. As a silly note her name comes from the word Meromero, meaning “lovestruck” and also Attract in Japan. But no, it’s not from her “melons” if anyone wondered. Grade: B+ Libido Melona is VERY perverse. She’s probably the most perverse character in the series or at least up there. She likes teasing those around her, mostly girls of course, and she comes as quite dominant at the same time. Like her costume shows she has no issues with her nudity, or with other people’s for that matter. She even attacks squeezing her chest to shoot acid out of her nipples! Personally I’d prefer Poison Gas to Acid. She needed more noteworthy epic scenes tho, Echidna she’s not. Still, Melona is a great perv. Grade: A- : You say I’m not a great sadist? Let me prove you wrong... *walks with confidence towards Zettai* W-Wait... : What’s wrong... *lolifies herself, but only from the waist up* ...Oniisama? WHAT? *is shocked from the transformation* : You’re going to say you don’t like now your blood imouto and mistress? That would be a shame, since I ate a lot of sweet potatoes and can’t hold in any more... Forgive me, my imouto! Wait, why did I follow your pace? : Knew it’d work! *laughs and restores her usual appearance* : Hey, don’t tease MY slave! *takes note of buying sweet potato* Age Much like nearly everyone else in the series Melona doesn’t have an official age. She probably doesn’t age either, seeing how she’s made of slime and looks identical the brief time she appears in Rebellion. Guess that qualifies as teenhag, cool. Sadly she loses points because of the terrible scene of Ymir “growing” when she turns back into herself at the end, boo ruining lolis! Then again Rebellion ruins Ymir anyway with the utterly useless Adult Mode. You already ruined a loli, don’t ruin TWO. Or at least make some older girl a loli! Sheesh. Grade: B+ Voice Rie Kugimiya usually does tsundere lolis. Yeah, Melona is the exact opposite, being an amazing playful pervert and sounding incredibly sexy. She even uses “boku” for more points. The only thing I dislike is Kugimiya also voices Rana, and Kugimiya voicing boys just brings back awful Xebec-related memories. Do not want. Ikuto helps, but unfortunately he’s not enough. Grade: A Total: 88 (B+) : This must be one of the highest scores all year, tee-hee! *looks proud* Seeing as how you beat Miyuki by one point, yes it is! Congrats! : Wait, I thought I was your favorite original QsB girl! Well, aside from Airi of course. But even with your redacted score I’m still ways off! Part of it is I became less strict over time, but part of it is Melona has better blog traits. Her body brings more benefits than gain, her ass is featured more, she has more than two costumes, had a better voice, and some other stuff. But score isn’t everything. : You mean my 91 doesn’t mean I’m one of your fav girls, slave? Of course you’re one of my favorites, mistress! Yeesh, I was about to start watching anime again when I noticed it's already been a week since the last update! Well, immediately after I said I watched little to nothing in the last update, I started watching a lot (well, for me it's a lot). So this update's probably gonna be a lot longer than usual. I finally finished off the episode of Akame ga Kill I spent over a week watching since my brain can't comprehend the simplest of things. Can someone tell me what the dispute is between the people who love this show and the people who hate it? Because, as of the moment, I still haven't made up my mind as to whether I do or don't. I put Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei and Monster on my "Plan to Watch" list, but was too impatient and decided to start watching the chibi shorts that came before Mahouko. I would've been able to finish all six of them, but I can't find the last two, unfortunately. If anybody could tell me a site I could find them, that would be great (also, I need some sort of notification that someone actually reads the dumb shit I type, so I can force them to tell me I'm beautiful). I then watched the first two episodes of the actual show, which I have to say has pretty good art, but the story just seems kinda meh to me for whatever reason. I decided to watch Ansatsu Kyoushitsu just a little bit more, because I wanted to see how Karma would work in it, and might I add, I had literally SECONDS left of episode 2 that I didn't finish and didn't count. Still think that show's lackluster. I also found out that there was a Mondaiji tachi blah blah blah OVA made at some point, so I started watching it, but have not finished. Still the worst anime I've seen, yet the only one I've managed to complete. Well, as usual, thanks for reading my gradually less (less=more) shitty anime blogs.

Have you ever watched an anime that just made you cry your eyes out?

i'm bored. I'm tired. I read a lot of manga. Yaoi, most of it tho. I like reading manga more than watching anime cause i can take the book along with me everywhere unlike my computer. I would watch anime on my phone but I can't at school, but i can read manga. SO........................that was my blog. so fun. I'm never doing this again. Hopefully. bye.

Hey Everyone! I just wanted to say that this webtoon/manga (Dice: the cube that changes the world) is really good. I love the art, the plot is interesting and the main characters (guys) are pretty cute. I spent the entire day yesterday reading it-- 87 chapters in one day yay~ -this is what I do when I don't have any more tests- However, I do feel like that it does get repetitive after awhile at around chapter 78 because of Eunju's (protagonist's love interest) attitude towards the dice and some other things that happen. Unfortunately, readers cannot add this manga for some reason. I still wanted to acknowledge the manga though because I spent so much time reading this and it was pretty good. So I decided to acknowledge this via a blog post, but they wouldn't let me post this unless I related it to anime. I decided Death Note (they aren't really all that similar) and Danganronpa (kind of? no?) plot 8/10- really good! But again, it begins to seem a bit repetitive. Eunju always rejecting the protagonist (kinda). Dice quests that involve destroying one another etc. art 9/10 characters 9.5/10- I love the guys and Mio! (They all really attractive haha) I dislike Eunju though, so I take off a .5. overall I would give this manga an 8.75/10 happy reading everyone.

Some things I noticed/remember about shows I've watched, not intended to be comprehensive. Spoilers for obvious reasons. Anohana: Conventional gender roles, most visibly in the Yukiatsu-Anaru love hotel scene and the fireworks preparation scene. After-bath scene. [C] - Control: Entres are pretty much all men, Jennifer excepted. After-bath scene. Chihayafuru: Jokes about Chihaya being "one of the guys". Random perverted male character on the Fujisaki team. Claymore: Raki's "I will protect Clare" act is annoying. The almost-rape scene is problematic on a few levels. Darker than Black: Passive characters (e.g. dolls) are female far more often than male. A bit of fanservice with Brita. Death Note: There's only one competent female character in the show, and she's killed off early. Misa starts out likeable, but soon degenerates into a stereotypical "dumb blonde"-type character. Misa's confinement scene could be problematic. Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: There's one female character in the entire show. Hanasaku Iroha: Ohana's first encounter with Jiroumaru skirts risky territory. The survival gamers. Bath scenes (justified by the setting, but still), swimsuit episode. Hidamari Sketch: Yoshinoya-sensei's childishness. Quite a bit of focus on Hiro's weight-watching. Higashi no Eden: Only two out of twelve Seleçao are female, and the only active female Seleçao -- Kuroha -- is almost a caricature of the "radical feminist" stereotype with her penis-chopping act. The antagonists are all male. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: All those girls, and Keiichi is the one that breaks the cycle? The women are killed first. Hanyuu is too moe. Fanservice OVA. Hyouka: Oreki solves mysteries, Satoshi provides information, but the girls don't seem to do anything. Fanservice OVA. Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita: Why does Pion have cat ears while Oyage doesn't? Young grandfather. JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: The second JoJo has a deeply misogynistic attitude. Problematic presentation of female characters, particularly Lisa Lisa and Suzi Q. Some fanservice. Kaleido Star: Why does Sora need to seek the approval of men? (Some of them are her superiors, and the second season kinda-sorta inverts this, but still.) Last Exile: Claus sure is popular with the ladies for no reason. Lavie starts out as an equal to Claus but gradually loses focus. Male captain, female XO. The gay mechanic is kind of stereotypical. Lucky Star: Soujirou's jokes about molesters. The "Christmas cake" joke. Jokes about Minami's bust size. Konata is an otaku surrogate. Akira and the dynamics between her and Shiraishi Minoru. The characterization of Tsukasa, Miyuki, Miyuki's mother, and Yutaka is potentially problematic. Nagi no Asukara: The relationship between Chisaki and Tsumugu is pretty traditional, as is the setup of Manaka as the damsel-in-distress and Hikari as the hero. Also in the Hikari-Manaka-Chisaki flashback. Nana: Conventional gender roles, especially with Hachiko. Natsume Yuujinchou: The general rule seems to be that male spirits are animalistic or monstrous, but female spirits are humanoid. NHK ni Youkoso: Too much focus on Satou's lust and Yamazaki's misogyny. Fanservice, bath scene. Ookami to Koushinryou: Holo has a (humanoid) nude scene. Psycho-Pass: Exploitative in a very gendered way; most of the victims are female, and all but one of the criminals are male. The one female criminal has a feminist motive and later becomes a victim herself. Some fanservice e.g. with the last scene. Sakamichi no Apollon: The men in the show have a tendency to force themselves on the women. Conventional gender roles (may be excused by the setting). Seitokai Yakuindomo: Jokes about Suzu's height and Shino's bust size. Kaede's androphobia isn't handled as sensitively as it should be. The characterization of Yokoshima-sensei verges on risky territory. Some of the jokes are male-oriented. Some fanservice. Shingeki no Kyojin: Petra gets a disproportionate amount of attention compared to other members of Levi's squad. The Female Titan is the first to go down. Shinsekai yori: Saki never does anything important, does she? She gets bailed out by Satoru all the time. The other female characters don't do much either, Tomiko included. Steins;Gate: Okarin never is able to gender Ruka correctly. Heteronormative. Daru's references to his 2-D hobbies are annoying, Mayuri is too passive and too much of a damsel-in-distress, and Faris is unnecessary. Okarin is the protagonist even though Kurisu is probably smarter. Shower scene. Suisei no Gargantia: The okama scene. Too much fanservice in the first half. Swimsuit episode. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu: Asahina Mikuru. Fanservice, swimsuit episode. Tiger & Bunny: The female NEXTs are young and their costumes don't hide their faces. They also take on feminine roles -- Karina is a singer (not to mention that Cutie Escape) and Pao-Lin becomes a babysitter for one episode. Fire Emblem is stereotypical. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun: Saten's skirt-flip and Kuroko's antics. The clones just happen to be of the main female character, plus she seems set up for failure at several points. The most powerful characters are all male, and Touma saves the day. Fanservice, swimsuit episode, shower scene. Fanservice OVA. True Tears: Conventional gender roles in the Shin'ichirou-Hiromi backstory. Ai-chan is a bit aggressive. Noe is archetypal. After-bath scene. Uchuu Kyoudai: Highly conventional gender roles despite the significant proportion of female astronauts. Too much focus on Mutta's lust and the external appearance of female characters. Usagi Drop: The focus on the family unit implies that women need to have families in order to have worth (cf. Haruko and Masako).

During the first of January, I decided to actually keep a new years resolution. My resolution is to get my complete anime up to 85 by New Year's Day the following year. (January 1st, 2016.) So far, I have completed 39 anime. To reach my goal, I need to complete 46 remaining anime. My record percentage is 45.8%

Character Changing is something that that absolute magic. Once it is done, you become a totally refined person. A person that is better able to function socially based on cognitive processes and psychological functions. When this happens, it is important to realize that the New Character is something that you MUST keep in check! When God conditions and strengthens a Character, He does it in a way that you know from the bottom of your heart that it is a permanent transformation. But one thing must be understood, God does require that you go to Him in secret, in the quietness of your own space, to draw strength from him for each day. Man shall not live by bread alone, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD. It is important, once again, to realize that Character Changing and Development is a process of healing that God honors you with. It is at the time when God feels that you are ready to be the best that you can be, both in privacy, and in public. Character Changing involves Attitude, Confidence, Humility, Love, and the ability to smile. These attributes make it evident that the Transformation is taking place. Typically, we think that once something changes in our Outside Character, it is for the better. That is true to an extent. It is for the better if the Changing of the Character produces positive results both internally and how it is projected to the external world. But it should never be taken for granted. Before facing each day, whether it be in a classroom, or at a job site, go to your Heavenly Father in prayer, and thank Him for setting you on a straight path. A path that gives you confidence and direction, and a hope that you are going to be all right. But if you are still struggling with Character Changing, and you find that the Outside Character you project on an external level is not bringing about positive results, but negative results, then it is important to take the first step, and recognize that those weaknesses in your character must be conditioned and developed. What surprises people is when weaknesses in the Outside Character surface. We would like to think that we are just naturally functional, and that our Character is flawless, but there is a need for Character Changing and getting in touch with the Would-Be Self. It takes work, stepping out, and taking lots and lots of criticisms along the way, but in the end, you will become so much stronger.
