K-ON!! Episode 3 analysis (episode 2 notes)
Hello. Welcome to my K-On!! analysis, this time for season 2's third episode. You may notice that I skipped episode 2, which I will explain below and provide a brief write-up for. Even if I didn't analyze it, episode 2 still needs to be watched because it provides important attachment to the girls and their friendship.
Episode 2 notes: I decided to not write a full write-up for episode 2 because little happens in the way of character or narrative progression. Instead, the episode is dedicated to getting us more attached to the characters and their friendship. However, there are some important things to note. First, this and many of the other episodes I won't write up fully, contain some of funniest moments in the series. This time around, they aren't quite as "moe" as in season 1 and instead play more on the girls great chemistry and their individual personalities as well. I love how in the very first scene, everyone in the room thinks of the best way to wake up Yui at the same time (tell her there is cake obviously). We get a real feel for the girls friendship, as we see how they react outside of school for much of this episode. Seeing how they decide who would carry the guitar they planned to sell by playing rock-paper-scissors and switching off after a certain amount of time really made them feel genuine, as my friends and I have done very similar things. Their individual personalities were shown off here also. Watching Mugi get excited to explore a hardware store was hilarious, and Yui joining in quickly was equally funny. We get a better sense of Ritsu when she instinctively lies to Sawa-chan about the price of a new guitar and gets punished for it (she needs to learn more responsibility and of course she will as the series continues), and how she spends the money on a big meal at McDonalds. We start to get a sense of how the previous LMC was as the girls clean up the clubroom and uncover things that aren't theirs. Finally, and most importantly, we see how Azusa wants to have a Kouhai, and the hilarious way the others try to give one to her: Buying her a turtle they found at the hardware store. Ton-chan the Pig-nosed turtle may not be a main character, but his symbolic value should be obvious as the turtle symbolism has been used all throughout season 1 and will continue here. Episode 2 was hilarious and really helps a lot in getting the viewer attached to the girls relationship, as we get to understand how much they all know each other and how genuinely close they are.
And now for episode 3. This episode will focus on Ritsu and an important development or her. We actually get a more music focused episode this time, but like always it contains hilarious antics, meaningful character growth, and realistic friendship moments.
We begin with Yui, Mugi, Mio, and Azusa staring at their new friend Ton-chan. Yui has her face up to the glass and continually admires how cute the turtle is. Mugi is a bit further away but equally infatuated with the turtle. Mio is furthest away and claims that she doesn't find it cute, but she is ultimately won over when it puts its pig-like nose above water to breathe. Azusa is trying to teach Yui how much work it will take to care for this new pet, and apparently Mugi has a bunch of turtles at her mansion and promises to bring food if they run out (seriously I want to see Mugi's house). Finally, we hear Ritsu crying from afar, as she wasn't looking at the turtle. She claims that she is tired of the drums and starts crying.
As it turns out, Ritsu had been watching a record of the LMC's activity she got from Nodoka. Ritsu is positioned in the back and no light shines on her, making it difficult to see her from the audience. This makes Ritsu sad as she asks to switch instruments. This leads to a fun scene of her trying out the other girls instruments. First, Yui hands her Geeta, and then immediately get sad because "Geeta is cheating on me." Fortunately, Yui becomes happy again when Ritsu calls her "sensei." She tries to teach Ritsu guitar, but doesn't really know how so Azusa tries instead. Ritsu tries for a little while, but can't seem to do it and is discouraged by how much she has to keep track of at a time. She gives up quickly.
After a quick scene where Sawa-chan is apparently "shining," we get to lunch in the seniors classroom. Yui, Mio, Mugi, and Nodoka are eating and commenting on each others lunches as Ritsu roams the room. We then get some insight about Ritsu from Mio as her childhood friend. Ritsu has always been fickle, but no matter what she would never give up the drums. This seems to support everything we knew about Ritsu's stubbornness in getting the drums and practicing every day, so we are cued in that something must be wrong.
Anyway, Ritsu decides to try the keyboard this time, after claiming she wants to shine like Sawa-chan (seeing Sawa wink and act sexy is actually hilarious). Ritsu is entertained by the many different sounds the electric keyboard can make, and Mugi is captivated by the idea that the keyboard can "talk" and that she and Yui can understand it. Apparently the sounds give Mugi an idea for a song too. Mio decides it looks like fun and wants to try it, but Ritsu gets excited and plays a scary sound. Instead of cowering though, Mio instead hits Ritsu and they both grab each other by their cheeks and squeeze. This is short-lived though, when Yui suggests Ritsu try Mio's bass. Mio is totally against the idea because she can't see herself doing anything other than the bass. Mio explains that she loves the bass because it's a perfect fit for her. It provides support for the group and is an extremely important instrument which occasionally gets cool licks, but is also not too showy and doesn't get tons of attention. What really strikes me here is how empathetic Ritsu is, as she claims "that's why I won't touch Mio's bass." As close childhood friends and now even closer friends, Ritsu has a much better idea of Mio's boundaries, and Mio's reaction to the scary sound from the keyboard earlier supports this. Ritsu still messes with Mio, but doesn't seem to make her mad or anxious anymore, having them act like good friends messing around instead. Part of it is that Mio has become much more confident in herself, but it seems to have more to do with the fact that those two know each other better now, which is why Ritsu doesn't try harder to get a reaction. Anyway, the other girls exclaim that they love Mio's bass and we leave it at that.
At home, Yui tries drumming on plates and cups in a dark corner to try and find a way to help Ritsu "shine," and Ui seems to want to help. Sawa-chan puts on make-up before the class picture for the school Yearbook, and finds a way to line up the class with the help of a random side character (side characters actually stay consistent and get speaking lines and even names this time around, which is cool). The new side characters comment on how pretty Sawa-chan is and she smirks upon hearing this. The class has to line up from shortest to tallest, but Ritsu decides to squeeze in next to Mugi and Mio. It also turns out that Yui and Nodoka are in front of them one row down. Yui notices that they are all together, and Ritsu claims that it's better for them to be together and Yui agrees. Of course, this once again is a subtle way of highlighting the main idea that these girls are better together than apart. Finally, the picture is taken, but right before Ritsu puts her hand on Yui's shoulder and of course it comes out in the final picture. This will come back eventually (over 20 episodes later) to create one of my favorite episodes. Either way, the seniors are all together for their final class photo, which is really nice.
At the clubroom, Yui has thought of some interesting and hilarious ways to get Ritsu more in the spotlight. Rearranging the positions of the members during performance and shining the flashlight helmet thing they found at the hardware store in the previous episode are shot down. The third idea has become a meme, and it's hilarious in context. Yui thinks Ritsu may be feeling lonely in the back, so she decides it might be a good idea to communicate with her while they perform by looking back at her in sync with the music. Yui tries to practice this by imitating a guitar sound, creating the fantastic "Jakka Jakka Jan" meme. Even if you don't find it funny here, google Rainbow JakkaJan and Jakka Jyan Cat for two examples of this meme. Anyway, this isn't what Ritsu was looking for, but it leads to Yui saying something that struck a chord with me. She tells Ritsu to not hold back, because her troubles are everyone's troubles. While Ritsu writes it off because she isn't troubled, I still find this to be telling of both Yui's growth and the closeness of the group, apart from being an ideology that appeals greatly to me personally. A once selfish Yui has grown so close to these people that she actually asks to be burdened because the pain of one is the pain of the group. Think about it: Yui joined the LMC because she thought it would be easy, and now she is literally asking Ritsu to burden her (not to mention that in season 1's finale Yui apologized profusely for being a burden to all and the others just said how much they love her). Yui's matured greatly, but it's subtle because it doesn't feel unnatural. If Yui said this at the beginning, I'd say that she's acting out of character, but her progression as a person has been slow and somewhat hard to notice, and this feels in character for her now. I didn't notice this until my first rewatch because after seeing where she goes first it's easier to notice how she got there as opposed to just going with the flow on the first watch. Just something that caught my attention.
This idea continues in the next scene, where Yui is talking to Azunyan as they walk home together. Yui is clearly worried about Ritsu, but Azusa seems to understand that it's not a slump as Yui thinks. It's also cute when Azusa won't let Yui play drums behind her because "You must stay within my sight." Next, we finally understand why Sawa-chan is "sparkling" so much: because she is using some sort of face cream.
Finally, we get the important scene. Ritsu is in her room doing homework and messing with Mio (note how Ritsu's room has it's own cool style to reflect her character much like Yui's girly room covered in pinks and hearts). She realizes that she hasn't played the drums in a while and that it's her own fault. She begins to reflect on how much she loved the drums at first. Inspired by a concert on T.V. (the same one from the flashback in season 1's first episode), she decided to play the drums because of how cool the stick-work looked. She got just sticks at first and played every day, but eventually bought (haggled) for a used drum kit and she practiced hard every day. She feels her callouses and starts to realize how much she loves the drums. After looking at her sticks from afar, she begins to start drumming on her desk. She smiles after just one tap, and then gets really into it. The facial work is great as always, as Ritsu has never looked happier, but the animation here is incredible. Ritsu's drumming is incredibly fluid and beautiful to look at, highlighting just how much she loves the drums. After her brother stops her for being too noisy, Ritsu and Mio run to school because Ritsu overslept. Ritsu jokes that it was from watching a horror movie to scare Mio, but immediately tells the truth as Mio begins to cower. Ritsu was watching the band "The Who" and DVD because she loves their drummer.
Ritsu and Mio try to sneak into the classroom, but Yui calls them out and the class laughs. Sawa-chan is also wearing a mask and sunglasses, which Yui and Ritsu discover is because she went to far with the face cream in her attempt to "shine." Finally, Ritsu decides that she only wants to play the drums and announces it to the others. Yui explains how much she loves Ritsu's drumming, and how her count-off always pumps her to play. Yui also says that she learned something: that even though all of the girls are different and have their own places, but "When we play we become one" (Ritsu finishes Yui's sentence with that line). This highlights the idea that what makes the girls music special is the specific people playing it and their captivating chemistry. It's the fact that they have fun playing together and that they complete each other which makes them great.
Finally, Mugi exclaims that she wrote a song based on the funny noises that Ritsu tried on her keyboard. The song in question is Honey Sweet Tea Time, which is actually on the K-ON album and is a great song (no whack keyboard stuff). As Mio notes, "it all goes back to tea" and the girls eat and drink while Mio and Mugi try to write lyrics for the new song. Ultimately, they can't concentrate because of the others eating and decide to join them instead.
A simple episode with some great characterization for Ritsu and showcase of Yui's growth. I definitely love the simple message it gives about always doing what you love, and how they managed to tie that all in to the series main themes and ideas of these girls important friendship. What I love even more though, is that I get to cover episode 4 soon, and that one is a truly special episode and one of my favorites from the entire series. Until then though, I hope you enjoyed this and please give feedback and spread this to anyone who may benefit from it. Thank you very much for reading, and I'll see you later.

2017 Anime Challenge
I wanted to participate in this year's anime challenge hosted on MAL but I didn't know if I'd be able to finish it or not (since I am very much known for my half-assed attitude towards things)
plus the fact that it sounded too complicated with too many instructions that my dumb brain couldn't really wrap around (and I didn't really want to read all of it), so I decided to play by myself for now. I might pick a harder challenge level and sign up officially if I do finish my first attempt. I've never done a challenge so this should be fun.
Since I decided to play by myself, I decided to start my first blog entry about it. I'm planning on posting updates with each one, once I pick or post when I complete one. Either or...
Okie Dokie...
I am gonna start with the Ensign level. The bingo pattern that I want to attempt will be...I like the Snowflake.
And...that's about 20 anime or so. I think that's pretty doable.
Oh and if you want to play too, go here...
This is my Bingo Card.
Start Date: January
Finish Date: To be Determined.
With the snowflake pattern added, it will look like this...
So this is my challenge list...

It is kinda unethical in some ways, but it's a fictional story so who cares. It is lovey-dovey and cute. I attempted to read the manga but like I said with my half assed attitude, I don't think I got very far into it. Oh and fyi, it's a BL.
Oh and if anybody have any recommendations for anything in my list, comment below and I'll check it out.

A Good Anime
Anime's can be seriously objective and subjective. Some anime's that I've watched such as Akame Ga Kill and Golden Time can be seen as horrible anime's but I've enjoyed them thoroughly for their emotional heartwarming scenes. I guess I'm the one who has felt them. I would give Golden Time a low score for it's total plot story and the show might seem generic and boring but it's an anime that I can relate to. I believe there is a subjective rating on anime's that can make you relate to it and make one dive into the anime with joy. This rating to me has the prowess to overcome the sub-par plot story because I can relate with the pathos that is invoked by the show and it generates a beautiful feeling that sucks me in. I can also see how Akame Ga Kill is thrown to the side due to it's story. The show itself still sucked me in due to the ending, even though it could be disappointing, I still enjoyed it because it took away characters that I was attached too but the show showed it wasn't scared of doing that. The show was able to take a leap and it might've ruined the show for some, it still made me feel sad so I thought it was a good anime for making me feel so attached. Akame Ga Kill proved to me that plot story doesn't always have to win the day and Golden Time did as well. I'm going to mention The Great Gatsby, a book that didn't do well when it came out and is now a classic. I personally love the book for its different moral outlooks and its message. Also a movie classic that did horrible in the beginning The Shawshank Redemption a movie that is now loved by many due to it's amazing ending and resolution. Things can be looked as superficial and terrible because you might only looking at it from one perspective.
Mirai Nikki is an anime that I loved dearly due to Yuno being a complete psychopath. I don't like the idea of people saying that Yuki shouldn't be such a pussy because I would like to know how you would act in the situation that he is in. He also becomes stronger and more brave towards the end of the show. He is also young, inexperienced, and has a boring introverted life. I wouldn't expect him to be fucking All Might or Kougami from Psycho-Pass in the beginning of the show.

2017 AWC + MRC
I've never joined a MAL challenge before, so I'm pretty excited about this one.
I'm hoping this will be the reason I end up watching a lot more anime, especially the ones I've been planning on rewatching for months now. I also think it'll be a lot of fun. I'm not really that excited about the manga one as I am for the anime one, because I feel like the manga one will be a lot easier, especially because I'm not planning on having any restriction on it... I know manga is a lot easier to read and a part of me is kind of worried I'll end up finishing the manga challenge in less than a month or two, but, whatever.
Cheers to... trying new things in 2017. Yay.

2017 Anime Watching Challenge - Signed Up!!
So every year MAL does Anime/Manga Challenges, a way to encourage people to watch more and different kinds of anime by providing a number of specific criteria to fill in with different items. I've been interested in trying this before but never took the plunge until now!
So I have signed up, and at the largest level to boot! I don't know if I might be overestimating my ability to watch a ton of anime, but we'll see if I'll be able to complete all 49 anime. I even made myself my own Participant banner, since I didn't like any of the banners they had well enough to use (also includes a link to my sign-up post):
So this year they added this BINGO card thing which adds a random aspect to the challenge which is kind of cool, but my sign-up post can be a little rough to read, especially since they want you to keep the list in the order that each item is listed on the BINGO card you get. But I have already chosen everything that I'll be using to fit all of my criteria, so the questions don't really matter much at this point. So to chronicle my progress I'll just list all of the anime that I'll be watching in alphabetical order. Each post I make, I will say a bit about each anime that I either finished or am currently watching. Once I have Completed a show, it will be removed from the list for future posts so eventually there will only be a few items remaining (make sense?). So here are all of the anime that I'm watching for the challenge this year:
-30-sai no Hoken Taiiku
-Another
-Arcade Gamer Fubuki
-Boku dake ga Inai Machi (ERASED)
-Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia)
-Bungou Stray Dogs
-Carnival Phantasm
-Cheating Craft
-Date A Live
-Death Parade
-Dwaejiui Wang (The King of the Pigs)
-Flip Flappers
-Gabriel DropOut - Watching: This is one of only two currently airing shows that I am watching as part of the challenge. I've only watched the first episode so far because that's all that's out, but I'm really liking it so far! I especially like Raphiel; she's such a mean bitch, but she is hilarious in the process! And the "torment" that she causes (at least in the first episode) is really pretty harmless. All of the main cast is pretty amusing. A pretty nice surprise!
-Gakkougurashi! (School-Live!)
-Gi(a)rlish Number
-Hana to Alice: Satsujin Jiken (The Case of Hana & Alice)
-Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita (Humanity Has Declined)
-Kaiba
-Karas
-Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront)
-Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
-Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen
-Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (KonoSuba)
-Koyomimonogatari
-Kubikiri Cycle: Aoiro Savant to Zaregototsukai
-Kumo to Tulip (The Spider and the Tulip) - Completed: So this was an anime actually picked from someone else's list (challenge item #60). To make it simple, I used the first person who signed up. This was one of the only items that was finished on that list and since my BINGO sheet didn't pop the "began airing between 1917 and 1959" item, I thought it'd be interesting to see this vintage anime. It was pretty cool. I didn't quite enjoy it as much as Kobutori, but it was close. It's always interesting to see really old anime. You can watch it yourself here.
-Little Witch Academia - Watching: The other currently airing anime that I'm watching. LOVED the first episode! It was pretty much like another one of the short films. I really hope they're able to keep up the energy and quality. Really looking forward to watching this week-to-week. Kind of sucks that I have to watch fansubs of this though since Netflix has the rights to it and they probably won't put it up until after the series is finished.
-Love Live! School Idol Project
-Military!
-Natsume Yuujinchou (Natsume's Book of Friends)
-New Game!
-No Game No Life
-Oshiete! Galko-chan (Please tell me! Galko-chan)
-Potemayo
-Prison School
-Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
-ReLIFE
-Sakamoto desu ga? (Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto) - Completed: The first full-length TV series I finished for the challenge! It's a fun, silly comedy so it was pretty easy to marathon over two days. I usually had at least one good laugh every episode. All of the characters were really likable other than the only real villainous guy (and it's not his job to be likable). Good stuff!
-Sakura Trick
-Shigofumi
-Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis (Rage of Bahamut: Genesis)
-Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu - Watching: So this is a show that some people have called one of the best anime of the year, if not THE best. After watching the initial double-length episode, I can see why. It's cleanly animated and has an interesting story presenting a very interesting art form (rakugo). Although I'm really looking forward to watching more, I'm not sure if I'll be able to marathon this show. It's not a light comedy at all (though there are some funny parts). I'll see how deep I can get into it for the rest of the long weekend, but I really doubt that it will be the next thing that I finish.
-Steins;Gate
-Trigun
-Uchuu Patrol Luluco (Space Patrol Luluco)
-Watashi ga Motete Dousunda (Kiss Him, Not Me!)
-Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)
-Yuri!!! on Ice
-Zero no Tsukaima F
So that's it for now! Looking back, I'm a little sad that I didn't try to fit in more shows for the current season as there are three others that I'm really interested in watching and I don't think I'll be able to watch much more other than stuff for the challenge this year. But hey, if I actually finish this challenge I'll have watched a lot more anime than I did in 2016! I put a bigger priority on finishing stuff that I'd had stuck on my Watching and On-Hold lists for a while. It's not encouraged, but it is an option to watch an anime that you had previously watched part or all of, as long as you go back and watch it all from the beginning in 2017. I'm not doing that with too many entries though, just: Another, My Hero Academia, Humanity Has Declined, Kaiba, Karas, Potemayo, Re:Zero, and Trigun; so 8 shows. Most of these I had either only watched one episode of and/or it has been YEARS since I'd seen any of it. Trigun I'd actually only ever seen one episode of it, on TV, dubbed, and I'd seen that particulate episode three times and it wasn't even the first episode. I've felt a little bit of a hit to my otaku cred for having never watched more of the series so I'll be taking this chance to fix that.
And with that, I'll be saying good night. I don't know how often I'll be doing posts to update my progress; maybe at least once every two weeks? We'll see. Until next time, laters!

?????
Because I don't what the hell this is either
I put Spirited Away on my challenge thing for Plan to Watch for the challenge lol
For the award thing, because it's one of the few anime that won an Oscar
And I know everyone else is just going to find some anime that got the stupid... Tokyo Anime Award (I call it BS because fucking Frozen got this award... Frozen's not even an anime! And I usually wouldn't mind, because technically anything animated is considered anime but... because Frozen is the only non-anime movie that has this award, I just- ???? ?!?!/! dslhfj)
I want to watch something that started airing the exact same day I joined MAL. How dope would that be... Man.
Ooooh!! I actually found something
This film aired the exact same day I joined MAL- Sakasama no Patema
wait wait wait wait
am I even allowed to use movies let me check-
OH SHIT
I just realized something...
Weren't all the anime I picked supposed to have the supernatural tag on them lol oh god
I guess
I should just let that go.
Maybe that'll be for the next time I do this challenge... maybe lol
tbh it's already hard enough just to find anime... Then to have that supernatual restriction... It's just too much. I'll just do it next time or something.
Yeah... Goodbye "Master of Supernatural"... Maybe next time.
I think I'd rather prioritize watching anime I've been meaning to watch for the longest time instead of anime that fit the restriction.
Yeah
Yeah
Huh...
I guess I was right. I can use movies... I'm only not allowed to use movies if I did the TV restriction, which, aha thankfully I didn't think of (Master of Television sounds kind of weird anyway)
Good, good. Then I wouldn't be able to use that one movie that aired the same day I joined MAL. Who knew, right? I honestly didn't think I was gonna find anything, but I did.
↧
Okay.
I
I don't know what I did, but I went back too many times or something
Some of the things I typed on that anime list thing got erased and I have to retype at least five of them
It could be worse, I know
But it could also be better?
This is torture... Just writing this stuff down is a lot of work... Man. Jeez.
I
I don't know why people who did this challenge before would want to do this ever again
But maybe there's some sort of feeling of accomplishment I'm missing that everyone else has from completing this I don't know
Ugh.

2017 Anime Watching Challenge
I'll be keeping track here of what I plan to watch for each category in order to complete the challenge. Feel free to recommend an anime I should watch for any category I've not completed yet, even if I already have a title added for it.
Challenge List with Explanations
15. Watch an anime which began airing between 1960 and 1979
20. Watch an anime broadcast on a weekday - information should be displayed in the entry

Winter 2017's First Impressions
Why am I doing that to myself again? I might not even go through the first episode this time and if I drop it after one episode, it's not even going on my dropped list.
Those are just random thoughts, they don't represent the full anime, they’re just my opinions on a very small part of them.

-
ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
It’s kinda surreal being in North America and seeing a tv show getting away with a main character smoking. It’s even his trademark in ACCA. The character designs are really nice though and the story is kinda original.
Continue watching? Yes, I already love the main character.
Ai Mai Mii: Surgical Friends
It’s the first anime I watch in the Ai Mai Mii series and I wasn’t expecting that at all. It’s crude and violent and it’s amazing.
Continue watching? Yes, I like violent humor.
Akiba’s Trip The Animation
I can’t go through the first episode. I know that a lot of people like that one and find it original, but I don’t. I’m tired of MC having “Undress” as a superpower too.
Continue watching? Nope, not my cup of tea.
BanG Dream! - Not watched yet
Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen
I love the manga, but I wasn't really a fan of the first season because of all the changes they made to the story. I'm not too sure why, but I feel like I might enjoy this season more after seeing the first episode.
Continue watching? Yes, this arc is great and I don't want to miss it.
Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikara
Why is that thing a bad fan fiction of Lord of the Rings? Can someone explain me that?
The animation was kinda beautiful, that’s the only good point I can give to it.
Continue watching? No, I’ll read or watch LOTR instead.
Chaos;Child
It’s more or less Chaos;Head all over again. It’s intriguing enough, but the main character is just doing stupid things after stupid things.
Continue watching? Yeah, why not.
Chiruran: Nibun no Ichi
It’s just a cute short with adorable version of the Shingengumi. It makes me think of Nobunaga no Shinobi a bit, but it looks like they’re more focused on the characters than the story.
Continue watching? Meh, why not.
Chou Shounen Tanteidan Neo - Not watched yet
Demi-chan wa Kataritai
I’ve read a few chapters of the manga and I was kinda hyped for this one. It’s such a simple idea and it works really well in this case. It’s just a sweet and funny slice of life.
Continue watching? Yes, I need more episodes!
elDLIVE
Yeah, it’s definitely from the same author as Katekyo Hitman Reborn. The main character is almost identical to Tsunayoshi. The story is just meh too. The alien thing just getting out of is stomach made me laugh like crazy though so it’s a good point.
Continue watching? Maybe, I don’t really like the main character.
Fuuka
I know that the manga is popular, but after seeing the first episode, I really don't understand why. It’s so unoriginal and full of cliches. They don’t even try to make fun of them or anything.
Continue watching? Nope, I found the first episode too boring.
Forest Fairy Five
I have no idea why that anime exist. The 3D is so bad, it’s ridiculous. It’s supposed to be for children, but I’m not even sure they’re the right audience for that. I also have to quote this from the synopsis: “This is the land where you get to meet anime-chans.”
Continue watching? Hell no.
Gabriel DropOut
Oh, I wasn’t expecting to like that but I actually did. It’s not really original, but it hits my need for more Himouto! Umaru-chan.
Continue watching? Yes, it’s hilarious.
Gintama - I’m not up to date in Gintama so I won’t watch the new season.
Hand Shakers
What’s with all the 3D anime this season? Another one with clunky animation.
Continue watching? No, thank you.
Idol Jihen - I can’t watch anime about boys bands or idols anymore. Unless it’s Idolmaster or Love Live, I won’t watch it.
Inazma Delivery - Not watched yet
Kemono Friends
Oh great, more floating characters in 3D. I really can’t get over this animation style.
Continue watching? Nope, it won’t happen.
Kirakira Precure A La Mode - I haven’t watched the Precure serie so I’ll pass on this one.
Kuzu no Honkai - Not watched
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
Another one I wasn’t sure to like, but I loved the first episode. The story is original enough and funny. The characters are also adorable.
Continue watching? Yes, I want a maid dragon too.
Kochinpa! Dainiki - Not watched yet
Konosuba 2
Konosuba is juste great, it has it's own very peculiar style of humor and the first episode was as funny as the first season. I think there was a small change in the animation, but I'm not too sure.
Continue watching? Of course!
Little Witch Academia TV - Not watched yet
Marginal#4: Kiss kara Tsurugu Big Bang - I won’t watch it for the same reason as Idol Jihen.
Masamune-kun no Revenge
I wasn't too sure what to expect of that anime, but I was surprised in a good way. It was way funnier than what I was expecting and I love how everything never goes as he planned.
Continue watching? A big yes, it's really good.
Minami Kamakura Koukou Joshi Jitensha-bu
Oh, I’m so not into that anime. I felt like I would be able to like it because I usually like sports anime, but I can’t. The girl who didn’t remember that you had to use the pedals to move on a bike was already a red flag.
Continue watching? No, I already have Yowamushi Pedal.
Nananin no Ayakashi - Not watched yet
Nnanko Days
There are three cute cats, but we see them as cute small girls with cat ears and tails. That’s it.
Continue watching? Why not, it’s cute and short.
One Room - Not watched yet
Oniheir - Not watched yet
Piace: Watashi no Italian
A short anime about a girl looking for work at an Italian restaurant. The story hasn’t much going for it, but the characters are nice.
Continue watching? Yes, for the tsun Chef.
Reikenzan: Eichi e no Shikaku - Not watched yet
Rewrite: Moon and Terra - I’m still playing the game and I’m not done with season one either so I won’t watch it.
Sengoku Choujuu Gisa: Otsu - I haven’t watched the other season so I might pass on it.
Sentai Hero Sukiyaki Force - Not watched yet
Schoolgirl Strikers: Animation Channel
There are some pretty nice slice of life scenes in there and I would probably enjoy that anime more if it was just those scenes. I don’t really get where they going with the story, but it’s a bit similar to World Trigger.
Continue watching? Yeah, for the school scenes.
Seiren
I don’t really know what to think about it. I think I like the characters in some ways, but I don’t know if I’m fond of that type of slice of life.
Continue watching? The first episode was just okay enough for me to continue it
Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen
I missed Shouwa Genroku so much and the second season looks just as good as the first. There’s something so different about this anime and the characters are unforgettable.
Continue watching? Yes!
Spiritpact
I’m really tired to see this studio every season. I really don’t want to see another bad webcomic adaptation.
Continue watching? No, I already saw Hitori no Shita and that was enough.
Super Lovers 2 - I haven’t watched the first season so I won’t watch this one.
Tales of Zestiria 2nd Season - I couldn’t finish the first season so I won’t watch it.
Urara Meirochou - Not watched yet
Yami Shibai 4th Season - I haven’t watched the other seasons so I don’t think I’m going to watch it.
Youjo Senki
That poster is so misleading. I was expecting a bad ass young girl with the personality Balalaika from Black Lagoon. I was absolutely wrong and very disappointed. It’s mostly moe witches in war time.
Continue watching? No, I just can’t watch another Izetta.
Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation
Damn, that anime has a rough start for a second season. It’s all about the pressure to perform and be better. It feels like the story might be a bit darker than the first season.
Continue watching? Hell yeah, I’m ready for a new Yowamushi Pedal.

I
I finished...
I finished planning out all the anime I want to watch...
Doesn't feel as great as I thought it would though... Maybe because I really thought I was going to include all the anime I've ever wanted to watch but never got to watching... Instead, I feel like I only included five of those and then the rest of
The only ones I haven't got around to finding are the time-sensitive ones like the recently reviewed, recommended, or reliant on another user one...
Man. I honestly thought I would never finish though wow...
Now I wonder if I'm actually going to finish this all... Most of these anime are like 26+ episodes I think...
Well.
Oh well.

History of Anime: Part 1
As everybody knows, anime began in 2007 with Hiroyuiki Imaishi's magnum opus: "Lucky Star". Every otaku around the world was immediately enthralled by the adventures of four girls and their obsession with chocolate cornets. However, what most people don't know is that Lucky Star was actually written by Satan himself to end the existence of the human race. God saw this, so he sent his servant, Donald J. Trump, to save us all. More about this can be read in the Neon Bible:
