Part 1
This is the full biography for all of my roleplay characters in the club Shiroku Highschool. Their intertwining biographies have been rewritten in a semi-independent novel style that features main characters as well as former characters and side-characters of mine. Shiroku Highschool – A New World Special thanks to the following people, for helping me with grammar or editing and in some cases even for co-writing parts of the biography. Riviette Wymsical Diogora
The Beginning
It is said that long ago, the world was a chaotic place where many different spirits roamed around freely and uncontrolled over the earth is empty surface. All of these spirits developed in different ways during the time that the earth began to take shape. Some of them became intertwined with the growing and evolving lifeforms on earth, others remained far from them. The more versatile the earth was becoming, the more versatile the spirits were becoming. Not much knowledge about the original forms of these spirits remains, but many of the strongest spirits still have different sorts of memories about it themselves. There are three spirits from this period that will be particularly relevant to our story. The first is a spirit that is currently referred to as 'The Ancient One' by many shamans and soul-binders. It is known as a spirit of great power that only the most powerful individuals can contact and communicate with. Its wisdom and power is praised among all sorts of communities everywhere. The second spirit is a spirit that is currently called 'Bloody Mary' whom is well known in folklore and horror stories due to its violent and bloody tendencies. Only a few humans know the truth about this spirit, for those who come to find it out often don't have much time left among the living. The third and final spirit is known as Excalibur, a spirit known as a curse among shamans for its incredibly obnoxious behavior. However, this too is a spirit of great power. Its incredibly narcissistic behavior is based on its true potential, yet the world itself rejected this spirit its ability to interfere with anything directly. By the time that the human race first emerged on the surface of the earth, the spirits were already great in number and versatility. Among these spirits were only few that actively sought out to interfere with human business, but there are some that ended up involving themselves with them. One of them was the spirit that would grow to be known as Bloody Mary.
Bloody Mary
The spirit that grew into the one known as Bloody Mary was not an evil spirit at first. In fact, it had originally shown nothing more than the honest desire to interact with the humans that it had seen wandering around the earth. The spirit its curiosity drove it to actively seek them out in an attempt to make contact with them. Sadly enough, the spirit was not able to do so, for the humans were unable to see or even sense its spiritual form. For years, the spirit attempted to get its existence acknowledged by these beings that it had learned to like so much, yet it was all to no avail. Centuries later the spirit eventually snapped and tried to force a young boy to acknowledge its existence, which resulted in the young boy's death. At first, the spirit was shocked by its own deeds. However, as time went by the spirit started to realize the results of its deed. The death of the boy had shaken up the town greatly and had struck fear into each of the villagers. They were afraid of something... They were afraid of the spirit. The spirit realized this and the potential that this brought. Its existence could be acknowledge through its deeds. At first, the spirit still tried to stop itself from killing more people. Sadly enough, people eventually began to forget all about the incident. This made the spirit grow incredibly restless. It wasn't long after the humans stopped talking about the incident entirely, that the spirit committed another murder. This started a cycle of murders that lead the spirit to a point where the sole acknowledgment of its existence relied on the fear it created by murdering humans. As the humans developed themselves, the spirit developed itself. Rather than killing randomly, the spirit started to act on certain patterns that allowed its murders to be ascribed to the same spirit. Its existence was starting to be acknowledged in a variety of stories that told about it and its murders. Every murder it committed added to its bloody lore of existence. In a sense, the spirit grew addicted to this act of murder. Not only was this how this how the spirit affirmed its existence towards humans, the spirit came to see these murders as its own reason for existence. The bloody murders and its own existence became thoroughly intertwined and mutually affirmed each-other. The spirit was already far in this state when a young girl named Mary-Ann had summoned it by calling out 'Bloody Mary' in a mirror three times. Out of all the lore that the spirit had created, this was spread the most and the easiest by far. It was the story that it would appear when the name 'Bloody Mary' was called in front of a mirror three times. This had also become the spirits its favorite story to act upon, and had therefore been the sole story it had acted on for centuries. The girl, Mary-Ann, grew up as an orphan in the 15th century. She had been very mistreated and abused in her youth by those around her. Her life was further tormented by the fact that she was often ill and that many of the other orphans bullied her. They attempted to make their own situation seem less bad by bullying Mary-Ann. On her seventeenth birthday, she could think of nothing but suicide. She desired strongly for an end to her life of pain and suffering. This is the reason she decided to try to summon Bloody Mary. It was a newly spreading rumor at that time, but her summons were answered. Against everything the spirit had anticipated, Mary-Ann was happy when the spirit killed her. The spirit had been the only thing that had ever listened to her in her entire life. The spirit had actually managed to come to her when she called it. Mary-Ann didn't care about her life anymore, she was overly happy that she had finally found someone that had been able to end her loneliness. This reaction changed the spirit. It brought back some of its earlier desires to interact with humans and to be with them. It even felt strange forms of regret for its actions... This is why it took on the appearance of Mary-Ann by creating a body made out of glass. Mary-Ann's human body died in the spirits embrace, but her mind and soul merged with the spirit and a new body for her was formed in glass. The spirit lost an incredible amount of its power in this process, but the merging of their souls ended their mutual loneliness. For a few years, the two of them were happy, they loved each-other and traveled the world together. The spirit had finally managed to find a way to be acknowledged by humans and to interact with them, while the human had finally been able to end her suffering and loneliness. Sadly enough, this is not where the story ends. For these years of happiness didn't last. The evil deeds committed by the spirit were slowly but steadily catching up to it. The spirit itself was slowly turning more and more evil and its desire to kill again grew stronger and stronger. Mary-Ann desperately tried to stop it, but she wasn't strong enough. The human part was suppressed and they turned into the Bloody Mary that is still known in contemporary folklore and internet horror. However, the story of Bloody Mary is not the only folklore and horror story that is based on actual facts. The story of 'Dr. Frankenstein' is the same.
The Original Dr. Frankenstein
Dr. Frankenstein is widely known for having created a living monster from dead body-parts. He is said to have lived somewhere in the 18th century, in the region of Geneva in Switzerland. Most of what he had done would have remained unknown to the world, if a woman named Mary Shelley wouldn't have written a novel that was heavily inspired by his work. She added a lot of things to the novel to add drama, but some of the key points were based on true facts. Dr. Victor Frankenstein had indeed managed to create a 'living' monster, but in reality it had been a lot less grotesque and dramatic than how it is described in her story. This was partly due to the fact that there had been complications with Dr. Frankenstein his research and with the monster that had been the result of them. Part of these complications was that the monster its body-parts were rotting away, but the biggest problem was that the creature seemed to have no real mind or personality of its own. It simply stood still and stared blankly in front of him, It never did a single thing unless Dr. Frankenstein forced it, and even then it reacted in the most minimal ways. In the end, the monster was resembling an average doll a lot more closely than an actual life form. Shelly, being the dramatic writer that she was, had found this to be way too uninteresting. This is why she had based her story on the idea that 'The Monster' actually had intellect and personality. The two main problems with the monster, the rotting body-parts and the complete lack of intellect and personality, caused Dr. Frankenstein to choose to destroy the monster by burning it completely. Afterwards, he decided to start experimenting again. However, he never managed to recreate the results of his first experiment. This also meant that he didn't even get close to creating something that would closer resemble an actual life form. A few years after the creation and destruction of his monster, he got forced into an arranged marriage. After that, it did not take him long to create an actual life-form, this time through the natural way. Yet he wasn't happy with his wife and child. Next to that, the rumors that Shelly her novel had spread about him made it impossible for him to continue his research. The only reason that he wasn't arrested for his kind of research was the fact that his family was a very influential one in the region. Things didn't look well for him though and he got depressed. It turned out that he was not able to live a normal life, so a year after his wife had given birth he committed suicide. He left everything he owned in the hands of his wife. It was also around this time that Shelly her novel became so widely known that people were now actively spreading rumors. These rumors where now often about her and her son as well, and they became known as 'the cursed family'. Not even the influential family behind Dr. Frankenstein was able to protect them from the hate and fear that people had towards them, which was being spread by these rumors. Some of the people living in the region even began to believe that her son was also a monster created from dead body-parts. This is why Dr. Frankenstein his wife was quick to turn to action after his death. Only a few days after her husband had committed suicide, she sold everything he once owned and moved to a distant relative of her in Transylvania. She had hoped that the many stories about her husband and family that were going around would not yet be known there. Her last hope was that the vague rumors that would probably spread all the way to Transylvania would not stand out between the many stories that were already going around in this area. For many years to come, her family managed to live there in relative peace. However, this peace would slowly crumble to chaos and sadness in the latest generation of Frankensteins, starting with the two infamous 'Frankenstein Brothers'.
The Frankenstein Brothers
Augustin Frankenstein, Victor and Valerica their father, was a distant relative of Dr. Victor Frankenstein. Augustin only had one other sibling, a brother called Aurelius. Both were born in the same area of Transylvania that Dr. Frankenstein his wife had moved too many years ago, due to the fact that most of the Frankenstein family had remained in this area for all of their lives. However, it was Augustin that had inherited the large mansion owned by the branch of the family in this area. Augustin, as the older brother, was the more sensible one in a lot of ways. His younger brother Aurelius, was quick to act and was a lot more willing to take risks. Though they were different, they formed a pair that didn’t stop at petty things. They both dreamed big and had goals of equally grand proportions in mind. They were best friends, even though they had many arguments and heated discussions about their goals and dreams throughout the years. These discussions often tended to bring up their interests in a certain pair of sisters as well, only to get completely out of hand at an impressive pace whenever these two became the point of discussion. Yet one of the wedges that supported their friendship got kicked away from underneath it, when Augustin inherited the aforementioned family mansion and most of the family its wealth. This was not to the liking of Aurelius, as he had logically wanted an equal amount in the inheritance. Still, they settled on it and they both were able to make good use of the money they had inherited by making investments. Their relationship got strained, but it didn’t seem to do any serious damage. After all, they were now the last two Frankensteins alive in their branch of the family, for their parents had both passed away before their own children were born and they did not have any other family. In the years they spent as young adults, Augustine was focused at making a steady flow of income. Aurelius on the other hand, was the one that earned money on risqué gambles. Yet most the investments Aurelius made were always overshadowed by his brother’s constant stream of success. There was a distinct difference in this behavior, one that greatly reflected their personalities and how they had lived their lives. Together, they raised the prosperity of the Frankenstein name to new levels of wealth and reputation. They were washing away of the faint stains of the past through their hard work and effort. Both of them held a vast amount of potential for greatness. It was Aurelius who came up with the idea of moving, which was almost immediately rejected by Augustin. The older brother saw the risk as something that was simply too great to take. All they had known was the Transylvania area, since that was where they had spend all of their life. Moving away, to bigger cities, was simply too much of a risk on their financial and social security. The truly desolate place that the brothers called their home almost never had any visitors. They had barely any contact with neighboring villages, other than that which was made for business and work. This was due to the infrastructure that was not maintained and therefore heavily neglected. Thus, only few new people ever visited the area, and those born in it often moved away to seek better futures elsewhere. Among the many who did not move away, mainly due to Augustin, were the Frankenstein brothers. But they were not the only ones, for the Dalca sisters, their childhood acquaintances, as friends would be to much of a generous term for it, stayed in the area as well. Despite the lack of any relationship between them, the two brothers were captivated by the two Dalca girls, Camelia and Carolyn. Neither of them could decide on whom they liked more, but 'taking' one was mutually understood as a taboo. Even so, Aurelius as the quick-to-act one, would push the second wedge away from underneath their friendship, as he ended up 'taking' Carolyn. If it was not for Augustin fancying Camelia so much, the relationship between the brothers would have ended right there. Yet Augustin simply waited some time before asking Camelia to marry him. She gladly accepted his proposal, mostly due to his promise to financially secure the Dalca family, something Aurelius had promised Carolyn as well. The difference was that Aurelius had already married Carolyn and fathered her child by the time Augustin and Camelia got married. One could also say that, like their ways of investing, the marriage between Aurelius and Carolyn had been one full of passion and romance, while the marriage between Augustin and Camelia could almost be deemed 'cold' or 'planned' to those who didn't know them. Aurelius strongly disliked the Frankensteins legacy. He held the desire to stay away from their ancestor his indiscretion for as far as he possibly could. Augustin however, seemed to become more and more interested in it after his marriage. Augustin began spending more an more money on research into the topic. Where Aurelius had managed to become a lot more responsible as a parent, Augustin seemed to become more and more irresponsible. This made Aurelius decide to move away with Carolyn and their child as soon as he could. He did not wish for his dreams to be held back by his brothers egocentric point of view. All he wanted was safety and security for his wife and child. However, when Aurelius shut this door behind him, he also shut close a door that could have lead to the restoration of their friendship. The third and last wedge, the final thing that could have restored their friendship, got knocked away shortly after the wedding of Augustin and Camelia. This was when Augustin started to show signs of getting completely obsessed by the research into their ancestor. In his study, he started learning all he could about the taboo research that the Frankenstein family had only wished to bury deep underneath the sands of time. Augustin exhumed the old knowledge that was being kept hidden for obvious reasons. The old documents, assumed to be destroyed, which the day of light would not shine well on, they were all brought up once more. The public would clearly never accept the truth and the research value behind them. This sparked the biggest conflict between the two, where Aurelius and Augustin were almost literally at each-others throats. It were their wives that pulled them away from each-other, as the brothers were fueled by blind stubbornness. Their wives tried ending the fighting and somewhat succeeded in settling it as peacefully as they could. However, the brothers never spoke to each-other again after that day. Their friendship was completely ruined and utterly destroyed, never to be restored again. Aurelius wasn't the only one that Augustin lost contact with. Augustin also started losing contact with the few friends he once had, spending more and more time alone in his study. Most of those friends went away without him ever caring about it. Not that anyone would know why. It was something that would just further the split between the two, as Augustin quickly became what Aurelius would forever refer to as 'the withered branch of their tree'. It was a quote he would even carry to his death bed. The fact that the brothers didn’t speak with each-other after that argument, saddened both Camelia and Carolyn deeply. They had only wished for the family to be friends. Yet the hatred that had ignited between the two men, was not one they were able to put out. Aurelius died eight years later, not having spoken a single word to his brother during all that time. Only Camelia and her children attended his funeral. Augustin was too busy with researching what Aurelius had hated him for. He never seemed to care about the loss of his brother. Thus, the brothers parted ways, never to make amends. On the other side of this story of two brothers, is the story of the two Dalca Sisters.
The Dalca Sisters
Unlike the Frankensteins, the Dalca name isn't one of old legends. It is a relatively new name in history, as it came from somewhere else than the ancestors of the Dalca sisters, Camelia and Carolyn. These sisters were two of the modern descendants of the family. Unfortunately, the original names of the Dalca sisters their ancestors had been lost in the generations. With that said, the bloodline itself is very old and powerful one, unlike the name. Although hidden behind the mundane modern Dalca surname, the family had always possessed strong connections with spirits. Many, if not all of the family members with the blood of their ancestors, had the natural ability to communicate and interact with spirits. While some of them were better than others, and while some only had the innate ability, the family tree that made up their ancestors was one that was littered with powerful shamans. In the modern society, the Dalca family could not utilize the power of shamanism without being branded as heretics. Thus, despite their power, they had chosen to mostly let it lie dormant. If it hadn't been for this, they could have made quite the profit from spirit healing, working as spiritualists or working in any of other pseudo-scientific lines of work. However, their family didn’t want to be stained with the social brand of heresy. Despite the modern day Transylvania, many of its inhabitants were still holding on to their old superstition regarding witches and the supernatural. With the poor infrastructure and the slow spread of information, the villages would not see it below them to have an old fashioned witch hunt. Ironically, they were the first to be asked for help when anything superstitious occurred. Even without the use of their bloodline its power, the Dalca sisters had a pretty good reputation, one that had been inherited by their ancestors as exorcists and spiritual cleansers. For they once were great helpers of the community and the people, through the facade of religious work. Considered to be incredibly wise, they could have even made quite an impact on the village council if they needed as well. The sisters, Camelia and Carolyn, grew up as farmers. Their family didn’t own much land, and what little they did own yielded only few crops. It was barely enough to sustain the family, let alone that it was anything worth selling. Thus, any other source of income was appreciated. This is why they never refused whenever they would get called on to drive spirits away. It was often voluntary work, but the family more often than not, got compensation in the form of some food or small donations of money. It wasn't much, but it was enough to keep them from getting hungry. The big change for the Dalca family, came when they got in contact with the acquainted family of Frankenstein, whose wealth and reputation preceded them. The two only remaining sons of the now prestigious family, found a love for the two Dalca daughters. Although hidden behind a platonic business mask, the brothers eventually couldn’t hide it. For the sisters, the proposals from the two rich men had been irresistible. Not only would they find the two men as the loves of their lives, but they also found the financial security that the two of them would offer. The older Carolyn Dalca got swept up by Aurelius, the younger brother. While her sister, Camelia, was proposed to by the older Frankenstein brother, Augustin. While the first had been more of a heated romance, the second had been more of an arranged marriage. This confirmed the idea that the brothers had a weird hobby of being opposites. They choose the equally different sisters, each in his own way proposing to one. While Carolyn was the more spiritually adept sister, and the one that was more interested in the bloodline power, her sister Camelia was less interested in it, and more in the human aspect of the bloodline power. Irony strikes often, as the one who became less superstitious more cautious, Aurelius, chose the sister with the most interest in the shamanic subject. While the older, who would become a superstitious and sporadic maniac, Augustin, choose the more down to earth sister, that had an opposite interest in the power. The Frankenstein brothers did, however, split up due to aforementioned underlying disagreements about the legacy of their family. Yet this did not change the good relationship that the sisters had, as they made sure to keep in contact. For Augustin and Aurelius, this was irritating. Yet both knew that there was no place for them to argue, as the sisters couldn’t be separated. Now that the story of their parents has been told, it is time for Victor and Valerica their story to start.
Victor & Valerica – Early Years
A few years after their marriage, Camelia gave birth to the twins, a boy named Victor and a girl named Valerica. They were both home-schooled by their mother and had very little contact with the outside world. Their father spent most of his time locked away in his study, meaning that their mother took over all care for them. They did visit their aunt, uncle and older cousin every now and then, which were the only other people they knew besides from their parents. This was why they also were at the funeral of Aurelius, though they had never fully grasped what had been going on due to their young age. However, when the kids were both ten years old, their own mother died due to a decease. A priest from the village, Carolyn, their cousin and their father were all the people that were present at her funeral. They had lost contact with the rest of the family long ago and none of them had any friends. They were all filled with grief, but Augustin had the most problems dealing with it. His inability to deal with the loss of his wife eventually made him mentally unstable. After a psychological breakdown, he eventually found some sort of comfort in doing more research into what his ancestor had done. His obsession for his ancestor grew exponentially after this. This was one of the reasons that simply studying the research of his ancestor was no longer enough. Augustin wanted to start replicating it, enhancing it, repeating it... In the end, he wanted to do nothing less than to create his own 'monster'. His obsession became even worse when he got the idea to use the knowledge to bring his wife back to life. He was smart enough to keep these hidden motives silent though. From that point on, he spent all his free time on his research and he dragged his two kids with him into this madness. He took over his wife her task of homeschooling them, but he focused solely on things that were relevant to his experiments. The main topics that were included in this were topics such as biology, physics and chemistry. Yet he also covered topics like religion studies, history and psychology. For as long as a topic could be relevant to the research in some way, he would try to teach it to his children. Even though Carolyn protested against it, Augustin kept away Victor and Valerica from her and Angelica. He no longer allowed them to waste time playing with their cousin and having fun at their aunts house. Whereas both Carolyn and Augustin had lost a sibling and the love of their life, they were not able to comfort each-other in their loss and only got separated further. For the children this meant further separation and isolation. Yet it quickly turned out that Victor had an incredible talent for figuring out things that were related to the more 'superstitious' parts of what they were doing. Valerica, on the other hand, had an incredible talent for the more scientifically parts of what they were doing. Their father didn't spare any expenses to give them what they needed to learn and stimulated them to use their full potential. It seemed like both of them were incredibly talented at what they were doing and they were very quick to learn new things. In just a few years, Victor had found out that he had some latent potential as a shaman. Though he would never admit it to his father, he had been driven to work on it by the desire to follow up his mothers family their legacy as shamans. It had been his way to deal with the loss of his mother at a young age. This is why he had been training this ability to the maximum of his extents and had managed to become an expert on shamanism. This is why he was already performing dangerous rituals to search for contact with the spirits at a young age. Their father, being as obsessed as he was, saw no danger in what his son was doing. Augustin even bought most of the necessary materials for his son in order to stimulate him to learn more and to work harder. By this time, Valerica had learned so much about human physiology that she could easily be able to become a surgeon or doctor. She had also learned a lot about biomechanics and was always up to date with science its latest discoveries. Both Victor and Valerica often shared their information, but it was clear they each had their own talent. Yet neither of them stopped there, they both went as far to learn entirely different languages to be able to continue their learning and research, including Japanese and English. Their father was applauding this as much as he could. It seemed like the three of them would actually be able to not just repeat Dr. Frankenstein his experiment, but also to complete it. It looked like nobody would be able to stop them from doing so. But five years later, when Victor and Valerica were both fifteen, their father died in a car accident on his way back home. They were both devastated and due to the fact that they were not able to contact their aunt Carolyn, it looked like they would be placed into an orphanage. Yet instead of this, they were able to convince everyone that they were able to live on their own. The rules in the region that they lived in were never kept very strictly, and they had managed to use this to be able to remain in the mansion together. It had just been a matter of giving the right persons the right amount of money. With Victor and Valerica remaining behind on their own, the story could have ended here. However, it did not, as they decided to continue this legacy on their own.
The Legacy Continues
Without ever talking about it, both Victor and Valerica had decided to continue their father his attempts at re-creating what their ancestor, Dr. Frankenstein had managed to do. They had gotten very close to finding 'the key' to most of the flaws in what Dr. Frankenstein had done with their father, so they wished to grant him his only wish. Furthermore, for Victor this became the ultimate act of shamanism, one that would honor his mother her family its legacy as well. Their plan was simple. Valerica would recreate a body out of body-parts that their father had gathered at hospitals. She would make sure that it was as close to that of a human being as she could get it to be. The only exception to this would be the fact that the different parts of the body would remain 'replaceable' in case they would start to rot. However, it turned out that in order for this exception to work, she also needed to make a few other exceptions. This is where her knowledge about biomechanics came in very useful. Victor would try to solve the other of the original problems; the lack of intellect and personality. He would try to do so by using the powers he had gained as a shaman to look for a spirit that they would be able to put into the body. To do this, he would let his conscious enter the spirit realm in order to look for the spirit of a deceased human that was likely to 'fit' the body. He had already traveled to the spirit realm successfully before, so he was confident in his ability to do so. However, it turned out that Victor his task was impossible. He could not find a spirit that would fit the type of body that they had prepared. Yet he did find the spirit of a fifteen year old girl that was trapped in a dark part of the spirit realm. This is why they decided to change the body they had prepared to suit that of a fifteen year old girl, instead of hoping to find a spirit that would fit the original body. Luckily for them, they managed to find the required body-parts through some shady connections that their father had used when he was still alive, instead of having to go dig up corpses on a graveyard like their ancestor had done. It showed how the right amount of money can buy you everything you can think off. The days of working and learning that Victor and Valerica grew used to were all extremely similar, except for a few days. These were the days on which they were visited by unexpected guests.
The Doggy Sisters
“It showed how the right amount of money can buy you everything you can think off.” That was the mindset they had when they were first introduced to the Doggy Sisters, but they had managed to prove them to be rather wrong. It was a day like normal. Victor had sent some mails to the business people that had asked him to invest in their projects with his families wealth and then reluctantly visited the town to buy some necessary supplies, mainly food. Valerica had been researching ways to reactivate hormone systems through electromechanical stimulation of the hypothalamus and had afterwards decided to try cook up some ardei umpluţi with the food Victor had brought back with him. However, this normal day was interrupted when someone suddenly threw a fireball through their kitchen window... If they hadn't seen it coming from afar, they would've surely been burned down to ashes on the spot. Yet, to everyone's surprise, this barbaric attack turned into some sort of scholarly agreement. It turned out that the the girl that had attacked them was a Mamono called Diana. She had been sent after them in order to obtain information, but she was more than willing to stop her attack on them if they themselves gave her information. Next to that, she would even allow them to obtain information of their own by studying her. It was the prime example of a scholarly win-win situation. The only downside was that they had never managed to find out who had been in charge of the French organization that had sent Diana after them. After this strange initial meeting, Diana had spent some time with them, so that they could mutually exchange information and learn from each-other. Though they also got to know Rachel during this time, Lily never actually wished to show herself to them. They only learned about her through her sisters. Though the Doggy Sisters probably didn't know this, they had played a huge role in dragging the twins out of their complete and utter isolation. Both Valerica and Victor often hid their excitement of the fact they were staying over at their place behind a strong mask of their business-like attitude, but it was quite likely that she would've 'smelled it' at more than one point. One of the best examples of this, would be the time that Victor had offered Diana some of his shamanic potion which had gotten her high as a kite. During her high, she had been doing things ranging from talking to trees to trying to set their house on fire, including their already partly burned down kitchen. Of course this was all pretty troublesome, but it was the kind of trouble that gave them a sort of joy that they had experienced only sparsely during their lives. Another example was how embarrassed Valerica secretly was when she realized that she had done a body check-up on Diana that could have been considered a little too thorough... This was something that she would never tell the Doggy Sisters, for she did truly believe that science was important enough to have done it. Yet it had showed Victor a side of his sister that he had previously never been aware off. Though Valerica was just as excited as Victor, it was Victor that got the most information from studying the Doggy Sisters. The way that they formed different spirits and forms while still being shaped and bound as one entity, showed him many of the otherwise unknown connections between body and spirit. However, this did not mean he fully understood her spirit state, for the more he tried to study her, the more questions it raised. It was as if every answer brought ten times more questions with it. In the end, he had been forced to give up due to the fact that they were wishing to return to their home, but the information he had gained would become crucial in the way he would later be binding Antanasia her spirit to her body. With all the information Victor and Valerica had gathered, it was time to finally put it to use.
The Experiment - Part 1
It was a year later that they had everything prepared, getting the required body-parts had taken the longest. But in the end Valerica had managed to recreate the body of a fifteen year old female and they had all necessary equipment to 'start it up'. Luckily for them, their father had also bought much better equipment than their ancestor had used. They had machines that were able to check all the signs of life their subject showed and they wouldn't need a lightning bolt to bring her to life. Victor had also managed to prepare all the rituals that he could think of, using those that would aid him to guide the spirit to the body but also those that would grant them protection against evil spirits. It had turned the room into a strange mixture of state of the art medical equipment and things you could expect in a horror movie. The last thing they had decided on, was a name for their creation. Neither of them wanted to refer to her as a 'monster' or 'creature' or an 'it'. It was likely that both of them secretly held the desire to bring something of her parents back by bring to life what they had created and by fulfilling their father dream with it. Their creation would be called Antanasia, which meant 'one who will be reborn or immortal' in their native language. It seemed like time slowed when they started up their 'experiment'. Valerica was constantly monitoring all the equipment that measured the bodily functions. Most of these bodily functions were slowly starting up and required great care. This is why Valerica was busy pushing buttons left and right. She only stopped doing these things when she had to inject certain medicines or chemicals into the body of Antanasia. Victor had been taking some 'shamanic herbs' and had set up more rituals than ever before. He smoothly went into a state from which he was capable of reaching out to the part of the spirit realm where the spirit he had found was trapped. The first time he tried to connect with her in order to lead her back to the body they had prepared he saw it. He saw what she kept going through, time after time after time.
The Trapped Spirit of Antanasia
She woke up. She woke up the exact same way as she always did. She knew it from the start, that today would be the day. It took her a some time to get out of bed, for she did not wish to leave its comfort and warmth. Yet in the end, she had no choice, but to leave it and to enter the harsh and cold world outside of it. She went downstairs, hoping to find some of it, but there wasn't any. It looked like she would have to wait and hope that she would be given some food later. The work she had to do was hard, especially when she had to do it on an empty stomach. Yet she did it, like she always did. Without complaining and slow, but steadily. She plowed the infertile land until she realized that there would not be any lunch for her either. So she kept plowing until the sun left the sky and the world turned dark. Then she just sat down, staring upwards until the moon had replaced the sun his presence. At that moment she stood up and started walking. There were 9.732 stones in the part of the road she always walked on. There were 348 trees visible from the road, this included the 5 fallen trees. There sound of a cricket could be heard 125 separate times in the background. It took her a total of exactly 14.567 seconds to reach her end destination. She felt like she had already counted everything she could ever count. It was always the same. The numbers never changed. Nothing ever did. When she reached the mill, she didn't hesitate as she climbed up. The rope was already laying there, in the same way that it always was. She had made it into a tie countless of times, but she always made the same mistakes. But in the end she also always managed to bind it strongly to the outside of the mill. She felt nothing when she made sure the rope was wrapped around her neck. She still felt nothing when she looked down as she forced her body to jump. Like always, she felt a slight bit of pain when the rope stopped her fall, but ended her life. It was the same as it had always been. Everything turned black, as if she went to sleep. She woke up. She woke up the exact same way as she always did. She knew it from the start, that today would be the day...
Victor Frankenstein - The Experiment Part 2
Victor had been shocked by what he had seen. For a moment, it almost brought him completely out of his concentration. The things that the trapped spirit of this girl had been having go through, countless of times, were terrible. After this, he was more than ever focused on saving her spirit by letting it find the body they had prepared. It was not just his fathers wish that drove him now, it was also the urge to help this trapped spirit. Using all his powers as a shaman, Victor managed to pull her spirit out of this dark part of the spirit realm. It took him a lot of effort, but both of them managed to return to their own world. He immediately tried to bind her spirit to the body that they had prepared. Meanwhile, his sister was 'starting up' all of the bodily functions that they had to delay. They could only start up some of t hem at this very last moment if they wanted to body to 'live'. It looked like everything was going well. But it wasn't. Victor his actions had lured in countless of evil spirits and the defenses he had set up against them were far too weak to resist their rage. Within mere seconds, the situation escalated into pure chaos. Neither Valerica nor Victor had any idea what was going on from that point on, but it was the last time they saw each-other. Victor felt the rage of thousands of evil spirits coursing through him, so intensely that it became physically visible all over his skin in all sorts of forms, including burns, cuts and bruises. Due to the fact that these wounds were inflicted by very strong spirits, they would never heal. Even if medical experts or mages were to try to cure them, they would reform shortly afterwards, causing Victor quite some pain while doing so. The only way to prevent these wounds from hurting him, was by wearing clothing that covered almost all of his body, since the wounds seemed to stop hurting if they were not exposed to light, in particular sunlight, for a certain amount of time. Victor passed out shortly afterward all this happened. The first thing he realized when he woke up, was that he had been very lucky that he hadn't been completely taken over by the evil spirits. The second thing he noticed was that he was being held by Antanasia. Their experiment had been a success. The third thing he noticed was that his sister was nowhere to be found. After going through everything, over and over again, Victor could only conclude that the following had happened: He had successfully brought the spirit of the girl into the body that they had prepared for her. However, he had payed a price for it, since his body was now covered in incurable scars and he would have to walk around almost fully clothed for the rest of his life. His sister had been able to revive the body, but she had vanished. Victor had retraced every option he could think of, but she was nowhere to be found and there was not a single clue left as to what could have happened. This was what he considered the heaviest price he had to pay for his deeds. The experiment had taken a heavy price, but it had also given a new life to someone.
Antanasia Frankenstein
Antanasia herself turned out to have been taken over by multiple spirits, but the spirit that Victor had brought into the body had been far stronger than the rest of them. Luckily for her, this meant that she would not suffer from personality disorders, ever though she housed a great multitude of different spirits. The main change that this possession by multiple spirits had brought, was the fact that she could use her body-parts separately from her main body. This was due to a combination of the fact that her body-parts had been replaceable and due to the fact that the spirits in them kept them connected with the main body through some sort of spiritual connections. It turned out that she was capable of doing some supernatural things with her body-parts, things that weren't even intended to be doable. Antanasia turned out to have a very kind personality, and she saw Victor and Valerica as a weird mixture of gods, parents and siblings. In the end, she was incredibly grateful to them for getting her out of the nightmarish part of the spirit realm that she had been trapped in. The brain she had been given had been cleansed from all the previous owner her personal memories, but the impersonal knowledge had been kept. This was combined with the memories from the part of the spirit realm that she had been trapped was in. The combination of these memories was the reason that it didn't take Anastasia long to partly adjust to the world she now lived in. It also turned out that she was very fond of reading, especially romance. She did turn it into her own special kind of romance though... One of her favorite things in romance was the moment a character would tell another character things like 'my heart will only beat for you'. It was something she took quite literally. One day, she even asked Victor if people transplanted each-others hearts after falling in love, since she thought it meant that they would always be connected and would always be 'close to each-others heart'. To her, this unique version of romance became some sort of ideal, even though she never clearly showed much interested in starting a relationship herself. The fact that she was not a normal human and that she grew up in the Frankenstein mansion, which looked like it could come straight out of a horror movie, made her a lot more familiar with what others would consider to be fear inflicting, scary or creepy. She made a hobby out of swinging the heavy weapons around that formerly only served as the mansion its decorations. After a while she became actually good at using them, in particular a fancy looking axe that she had found in the mansion its basement. After she was revived in the body that Valerica and Victor had made for her, she spent almost all of her time with Victor and has sworn to accompany him wherever he goes. She often got quite easily distracted or bored, until Victor decided to buy her something she could listen music with. After that, she was almost always seen wearing earplugs while traveling.
Victor Frankenstein
After loosing his sister in the accident, he came to believe that it was entirely his own fault. Like his sister, had never been eager to talk much, but instead of her, he had always been a lot more polite when he did talk. This helped him a lot during the time he spent traveling and had earned him some good connections with the outside world, especially the occult part of it. Victor had always preferred to stay out of trouble and was never eager to participate in fights. He is possibly even more careful not to start something after the accident. Yet he will stop at nothing in order to find out what happened to his sister and to try to make up for whatever he did that made her vanish. He will also do a lot to help those whom he considers to be his allies. He may not often show it, but he is truly glad that Antanasia follows him on the quest to find out what happened to his sister. Without her, he would've been far worse off than he was now. The fact that a lot of the other people either laugh at him or avoid him for the fact that he is always fully or weirdly clothed is one of those reasons. Besides the wish to find his sister, he has an additional wish. After creating Antanasia, he had fulfilled his fathers dream and lived up to this side of his families legacy. However, his mother and aunt had both been great shamans, following a strong and ancient line and having their own legacy as well. Living up to that is one of the more hidden desires he has, though it will always come secondary to finding his sister.
Traveling
A few months after the accident, Victor and Antanasia choose to go on a long journey. They would be able to spent the rest of their lives in great luxury with the money that Victor had inherited and invested. However, Victor choose to spent their money on nothing but the most necessary things. This was especially the case when it came down to his own needs, yet he often got convinced by Antanasia to buy some 'less necessary' things. The only things he did not wish to save any expenses on was whatever could help him to find out what had happened to his sister. One of the things that he had been actively trying to find during his travels, were clues that could lead him to the Doggy Sisters. He had told Antanasia tales about them over and over again, to the point that Antanasia could tell them as if she had been there herself. Though he always kept saying that the reason that he was looking for them was nothing, but the fact that they might be able to sniff out Valerica, it wasn't very unlikely that he had other motives as well. Antanasia, with her unique perception on romance, managed to draw her own conclusions... They spent their time traveling together for quite a while, until Victor had turned seventeen. At that point, he heard of a place that could hold new information for him. This place would become his next destination and it seemed like he would stay there for longer than normally. Antanasia, like always, followed him without a second guess. To say that Victor and Antanasia their first few days after arriving at Shiroku have been hectic would be an understatement. They had been utter chaotic for them, at the very least...
The First Days At Shiroku
Shortly after entering the school, Victor met with Lillianna. She caught him while he was trying to bind a spirit to himself. Their conversation managed to head into a rather inconvenient direction, in which he was acting a little too reserved This eventually chased her off. He hasn't seen her since. To make matters worse, it turned out that the spirit that he had bound to him was actually a spirit called Excalibur. This spirit was well known for being a 'curse' among shamans, due to its highly obnoxious behavior and the absolute impossibility to get rid of him. Later on, Victor had managed to get himself involved in making plans for a fight against some sort of virus that was called 'Omega' in a machine that was called the VTR. At the end of the day, he never entered that battle himself. However, he did get to know some people better during the time that he was preparing for it. He also got to know some others and their powers by watching them fight the virus in the VTR before him. This was also where and when he got the idea to join the VTR training club that Alexander Takeda was hoping to start up. He was secretly hoping to be able train his shamanism, and also wished to train his teamwork. Meanwhile, Antanasia had somehow gotten caught up in an underground fighting tournament with some sort of strange 'chess' theme to it. It was organized through some sort of magical bracelets that would teleport people to an arena where they would have to fight each-other. Some sort of colored chess-kings were said to be the ones behind it. Avius had also gotten caught up in the tournament, but his behavior and reasoning seemed to be flawed enough for him to actually try to participate in it. Sylvia had helped them to figure out a lot of the things behind this tournament. Together with the obvious clues they gained from seeing his ability, they eventually started to suspect Johnathan Offrish to know more about it. Sadly enough, they have not been able to question him about it, as of yet. Antanasia had also started a quest to hunt down the 'wolves in sheep's clothes' that were once mentioned by Fosse Grimm, during class. Her partner in this quest was Natsumi Fujisaki. After asking about it at the Volunteer Club, they were told that it would be for the best for them to ask Yuuki Xecrent more about them. Yuuki Xecrent had also given them the original explanation that had made them believe that the wolves in sheep's clothes were literally wolves in sheep's clothes clothes. When visiting her, Yuuki Xecrent explained to them that wolves in sheep's clothes 'could' be real, so they decided to go on a quest to find them. During these first few days, Victor had also been stunned by seeing Diana again. She was someone that he had spent a few very valuable days of his youth with. This had been when he was still living with his sister Valerica at their mansion and when Antanasia didn't even 'exist' yet. However, he had not been given any real time to talk to her, nor had he been able to ask her if she could find his sister by using her strong sense of smell. The event with Leo and her disappearance straight after it had prevented this. Last of all... He hadn't gotten a chance to sort out his feelings for her either. Even though he had been looking for her after the battle with Leo, he couldn't find her. This meant that he eventually left the school for a while, without having gotten any answers to either his questions or his feelings. Yet the event with the most impact of all, was the battle with a powerful elemental mage that seemed to have gone insane. Most of the students called him an emo, even though he was referring to himself as a god. He was also known as 'Leo'. The fight had counted multiple stages and lasted very long, but luckily enough, nobody died during it. Eventually, some weird entity managed to defeat Leo with some sort of shadow attack from below. It had also exclaimed a few words to all. Especially his words: "It has been fun, I don't think I'll find a more useless host than you for quite some time... If you survive this trial, you might become worthy of my powers after all." raised more than a few questions. It was also speculated that Leo his defeat was only possible due to the help of the former principal Richard. However, this was never proven. Even though Leo had been defeated, it had been a very open ended scenario. After this event, they were told that the school would be closed for a while in order to be rebuild, since most of the school had been destroyed in the process of the battle. One of the few good sides of this terrible attack, was that it had managed to create a bond between Victor, Antanasia and some of the others students. Sylvia in particular, had managed to leave quite an impression on Victor... Other people that stood out to them in a positive way were Callaway, Misaka, Lucifer, Sing, Kasumi, Iwao, Sho, Brissa, Areathy and Nero. However, it had also made them suspicious towards some students that had turned their backs on the others in one way or another. Shini had even managed to straight up make an enemy out of most of the school body by trying to side with Leo. Yuuki Xecrent and Mamoru Sekai had also fallen under suspicion, either due to their behavior or due to their complete absence during most of the battle. Victor really needed some time to cool down and think things through after all of this. He spent a few hours to make sure that everyone was okay (in the not-on-the-edge-of-dying sense) while he was simultaneously looking for Diana. After that, he decided to take up on a lead that one of his contacts had given him. It would allow him to take a few days 'off' without wasting any time. The lead that he had been given was about two rather peculiar catgirls originating from a clan living on the Philippines. The catgirls and their clan were widely known for their soulbinding rituals, among both the community of shamans and the community of spiritualists in general. Both of the catgirls had shown up a few times in Japan lately. As such, Victor had gathered information about their latest whereabouts and decided to travel there. When she heard this, Antanasia immediately wanted to travel along. She was really looking forward to meeting some real catgirls and was secretly hoping that the catgirls would know more about wolves in sheep's clothes as well. In any case, she immediately went along with him. And so, after their problematic first days in Shiroku, Victor and Antanasia set out to look for the catgirls.

The Catgirls – Part 1
It took them less than a day to travel to where the catgirls had been spotted for the last time. During this time, they mainly caught up on sleep and talked through what happened at Shiroku. They also shared most of their opinions on others students and teachers a bit... Gossip is a universal thing, after all. As soon as they reached their destination, they tried to find the exact whereabouts of the two catgirls. Both of these catgirls had managed to stand out quite a bit from the rest of the scene, so a lot of people remembered them and the direction they had going in. This had made it surprisingly easy for Victor and Antanasia to find the two catgirls and to catch up with them. When Victor and Antanasia first saw them, they realized that both of the catgirls indeed looked quite a bit out of the ordinary.
The next part explains what happened when Victor and Antanasia eventually tried to approach them...
For a moment, it had looked like Cheska her actions had made a fight unavoidable. It was only thanks to her younger sister, Charisse, and Victor his 'cute' appearance, that a fight was eventually avoided. After a while, Cheska admitted that Antanasia would also get a fair score on her 'cute list'. Both Victor and Antanasia weren't sure how to react to this, so they both decided to mostly ignore it... From that point on, things went surprisingly smooth. They went to a café-restaurant together, where they talked quite some things through. Cheska opened up about herself and started talking about a lot of things. One of the things she told them, was that she had visited Shiroku as well. This next paragraph is the story that led her to Shiroku.
Cheska Magaling Batac
Cheska is a typical member of the cat-people. A lot of people know about them from fiction, like anime, but most of them do not know that they are as real as it gets. Cheska is one of them. Ears, tail, extensible nails, purring, hissing. She's got it all. She grew up in a small clan on one of the many islands of the Philippines. She and her clan lived in relative peace with humans from Japanese, Chinese and Phillipa descents. Their main way of earning money was by trading with these humans and selling them the spoils of the hunt, the pearls they dived up or the rare jungle fruits they grew. They also acted as guides every now and then. Cheska herself was one of the most promising catgirls ever. At the young age of twelve, she was already very talented in combat with a knives and with her daggers. She was the youngest catgirl ever allowed to souldbind two of her melee weapons to her. The only one that had shown more promise at her age (and that was still showing more promise), was her older brother, who was named Dakila Magaling Batac. He had already managed to get twelve different weapons soulbound to him when he was twelve. At first, she didn't mind standing in the shadow of Dakila, for she had many other talents. She didn't fear the water at all and she was able to hold her breath long enough to dive up the biggest and most beautiful pearls. She was always able to track and hunt down any kind of pray and each and every of her arrows would hit its target. She knew where to find every single tree that grew the valuable jungle fruits and she knew the effects and usages of every single plant on the island. Next to that, she also was a clever negotiator and she always got what she wanted at less than half the original price, while she was selling things at three times their value. This was how she acquired her bow, breaking with the tradition of making one from scratch with her own hands. The bow she bought was just so much better than the original bows that the rest of her clan used. When the clan members didn't allow her to soulbind this non-handcrafted bow to her, she got angry. She had modified it heavily, making it her own unique weapon, so it was her own creation now. That was her reasoning. The elders thought different and refused to souldbind her bow to her. They were way to stuck in their clans lame and old-fashioned traditions. At that time, she just decided to let it rest. They'd change eventually. Her younger sister Charisse had played a big role in this, by acting as Cheska's reason and by calming her down. Cheska started to take on their tribe's seventy-seven trials. These trials were many different and difficult tasks; such as hunting down a rare animal, fighting a jaguar barehanded, surviving three days straight without eating or drinking, climbing the volcano on the island without the use of any gear... Those were just a few examples. On her fourteenth, she had set yet another record. She had completed all seventy-seven trials. However... Dakila had also already done so, at the age of thirteen. The only record she had set was that for the catgirls, not the general record. Once again, she was clearly staying in the shadow of her brother. It drove a rift between them, one that their younger sister Charisse desperately but fruitlessly tried to mend. After this, she spend time on making a weapon unique to her. These became known as the Claw Boots. She was very proud of what she created and went to the elders with them. However, she was blatantly refused when they heard that she wanted to have boots bound to her soul. 'Boots were no real weapons.' It was Dakila whom had said that, convincing the elders not to soulbind her boots to her. She was extremely frustrated, so she decided to souldbind her boots on her own. She succeeded in this, but at a high cost. She had bound too much of her soul to her boots. She would never be able to walk around for long without wearing them. For her, it didn't matter much, because they now felt like they were her actual feet rather than boots. It were events like these that caused the tension between her and Dakila to grow. When he, at the age of eighteen, was chosen as the new clan leader, she couldn't take it anymore. She knew he was very like to be conservative about everything. Not even her younger sister could calm her down anymore at this point. She fundamentally disagreed with their clans traditional mindset, but Dakila wouldn't be able or willing to change a single thing. She decided that she was the one that was truly destined to lead their clan. She would lead them to a better age, one with more technology and progress. She would lead their clan to a rich and wealthy future. Those were her ideas and reasons. That is why she decided to challenge Dakila. She challenged him to dual to the death. It was the only acceptable challenge against a leader, one that he wouldn't be able to ignore. He still tried to change her mind, as did all the others, but she ignored them all. She even ignored Charisse's desperate attempts to stop her. They didn't understand her true strength. Her agility and speed outmatched that of all the others. She would beat him, she would finally leave her brothers long shadow. She was born for this, it was her duty. Three days later she was exiled. Dakila had defeated her in a mere two minutes. With her face in the mud, bleeding from many different wounds, she had been able to do nothing, but await her death. However, Dakila hadn't been able to kill her. It was his weakness that saved her, not her own strength. She had failed her clan and herself. She was nothing but a disgrace. With her pride, her home and everyone and everything she knew gone, she spent a year traveling through most of south-east Asia. Her skills in trading helped her to make a living, even getting quite some extra to spend. The fact that she was a catgirl also helped a lot, as it was drawing quite some attention to her in most places and most people turned out to be willing to help her or trade with her. After a year she heard rumors about a school called Shiroku Highschool. She decided to go there. She would train there to become stronger than ever. She would train to challenge Dakila again. She would need to train hard, but she was more than willing too. She would show everyone what she was truly capable off. She hoped she would learn more about the people with different abilities as well, hoping that she could use the knowledge in her fight against Dakila. She had only one goal in mind: Training and learning a lot to become stronger.
The Catgirls – Part 2
However, she had left the school when she realized that the kind of games they played weren't exactly her kind of games. This lead her to tell them about her small part in 'The Game' and her other reasons for leaving again soon after she had arrived. With what Victor had learned from the report that he had read during Iwao his class, he was able to tell Cheska how 'The Game' had ended... A lot of hissing could be heard, together with the words 'anti-cute', 'Yuuki Xecrent', and more than a few curse words combined with a great multitude of creative death threats... It was probably for the better that Cheska didn't plan on returning to Shiroku. They were also able to tell Cheska which students had remained at Shiroku. After this, they confirmed the idea that Shiroku was a dangerous place by telling Cheska and Charisse about their experiences with 'Leo'. Cheska did not have much to say about it, except that she was glad to hear that all the 'cuties' were still okay. When they asked Cheska why she wasn't planning to head back to Shiroku, she told them that she had some family issues to solve first. Before they knew it, they were presented with an hour long rant about Dakila and how incredibly stupid he was. This was paired with a large variety of hissing noises. It ended in a second hour long speech, in which she told them how great it was that her sister Charisse was finally spending time with her instead of with their brother. She was also bragging about how she was training with her sister. It didn't seem like the two catgirls had any concrete plans so far, besides the semi-hopeless attempts that Charisse made to restore the peace in the family... It turned out that looking for the catgirls had not been in vein, as they were able to give them a lot of information.
Shamanism, Soulbinding and Answers
After telling each-other some stories, it was time for the more serious part. The group of them left the café-restaurant to go somewhere out of the public. After finding a quite enough place, Victor and Antanasia explained why they had been looking for them. They also told them the entire story of Valerica her disappearance. Sadly enough, neither Cheska nor Charisse knew much about it. When Victor mentioned 'royal' rewards for their help, Cheska was very eager to team up with them. Charissa had already shown enough compassion to be willing to help them, regardless of any rewards. Short after teaming up with them, they discussed the relation between shamanism and soulbinding. It turned out that shamanism and soulbinding had a surprising amount of shared ground in both theory and practice. This lead both parties to come up with new ideas and theories. It also let them to the performance of a multitude of rituals that combined both shamanism and soulbinding. During these rituals, Victor learned how to bind healing spirits to him and even learned about a strong spirit called The Ancient One. (This resulted in him learning the basics for what he would develop to be his Extra Ability and Ex-Burst.) Besides this, there were three things that they could say about Valerica and Antanasia. The first thing they found were new insights on Antanasia her 'situation'. After a complex ritual that allowed them to read the exact situation of her soul, or rather, the multitude of souls inside of her, there was only one conclusion that could be drawn. Antanasia her limbs had been possessed by the spirits of the people that had previously used them, instead of random spirits or evil spirits. When Antanasia was brought back to life, her limbs were brought back to life as well. This re-established a connection to the world of the living, a connection that the previous owners of the limbs had immediately made use of. This had allowed some of her limbs to be able to move on their own accord, to the extent of levitating and floating. It has also made her a lot stronger than normal. She learned that better co-operation with these spirits that were inhabiting her body, would eventually increase her attributes even further. Cheska and Charisse also told Antanasia that it looked like her own spirit was in a stable control of the entirety of her body. It was very unlikely that this position would be changed or affected by any of the other spirits. The second thing they were able to find out, was that Victor his cursed wounds were the work of some of the more evil spirits. They had managed to bind themselves to him during the ritual that he had used to save Antanasia her spirit. While he had been trapped in Antanasia her continuous nightmare for a moment, the spirits had latched themselves onto his body. His inherent abilities had been powerful enough to prevent the spirits from being able to kill him, but not powerful enough to prevent them from harming him. Some of the preparations he had made had successfully reduced the power that the spirits had been able to use to harm him. Yet these effects were rendered useless when he was standing in the sunlight or in bright artificial light. Sadly enough, neither Cheska nor Charisse could retrace the exact cause of the phenomenon, nor did they understand mechanism behind it. This did not mean that they were of not able to help him at all. It was due to the fact that Cheska knew some things about 'messing up' herself, that she knew a way to help him. (Cheska once managed to stuff most of her soul into her boots during a failed soulbinding ritual.) Using some of the methods she had tried to use in an attempt to solve her own problems, she was able to help Victor reduce the effects that the more evil had on him. His skin would still be harmed when continuously exposed to sunlight or bright artificial light, but shorter periods of time should no longer be a problem. It meant that he would still need to keep wearing his usual attire, but he would be able to take it off without any negative consequences for as long as it wasn't for long amounts of time. The third and final thing they could tell him, was that it was highly likely that Valerica was no longer in this world or dimension. With the four of them working together, they had managed to retrace a lot of the events. This opened up new theories and possibilities, but also gave them the knowledge to discard a lot of other theories. They eventually concluded that the only possible thing that could have happened to Valerica, was something that ended up in her being spirited away. How, where, why... None of those things could be said with any certainty. Yet these findings did exclude a fair amount of the other options. Besides from the usefulness of exchanging of information, hanging out with the catgirls had actually been a rather fun time as well.
Hanging Out
After getting these promising results, they decided to stay with the catgirls for a few more days in order to train and learn even more. During one these days, Antanasia managed to ask Charisse if she knew anything about wolves in sheep's clothes.
Meanwhile, Cheska was heaving a heated discussion with Excalibur...
While these conversations were ongoing, Victor was working on a small project that he had picked up. He wanted to write more about the spirits that he had bound to him and about the spirits he knew about in general. He had bought a nice looking notebook and was now drawing the spirits and writing short descriptions for them. It was a work-in-progress, because there were many more spirits out there, but it already started to look pretty nice.
During these few days they spent with the catgirls, Cheska made sure to make Victor pay for just about anything, ranging from the food they consumed to the hotel rooms they slept in. She also didn't hesitate to choose the most expensive options for everything either... After all, why would she not make use of a guy that was both cute and rich? Sadly enough, they had to say goodbye eventually. While the catgirls would travel on, Antanasia and Victor would head back to Shiroku. During the few days that they had spent with them, they had learned a lot from them and had even managed to increase their own abilities quiet a bit. It had been a break well spent. However, to all good things comes an end. As such, they eventually headed back to Shiroku with new powers, new information and new plans. However, finding his sister was still the most prominent quest for Victor.
The Journey Back and New Plans
The journey back to Shiroku had been... Terrible. Excalibur had decided that the train they used to travel was a great stage for his greatness. His frustration from his discussion with Cheska had fired him up more than ever, and he was calling people IDIOT louder than ever before. He even started to ramble about how trains were created to honor his greatness...
The other passenger didn't really appreciate the constant insults that the creature send flying towards them and asked Victor to stop with his obnoxious 'puppet act'. When Victor tried to give them a reason to explain why he couldn't do so, they didn't believe him in the slightest. As such, both Victor and Antanasia were kicked off the train and had to walk the last part towards Shiroku. It had been quite a long walk for them, and they had been able to enjoy more of the speeches from Excalibur during the entire walk. Such good fun. Still, their break had been worth it. Now that they had gained new information, their quests would continue. First and foremost, they were still looking for Valerica and knew a little better in what direction they would have to look for her. Antanasia was also planning to keep looking for wolves in sheep's clothes, using some new leads that Charisse had give her. Victor had gained more motivation to make the most of his abilities in shamanism, especially after having found out new ways to use it. Upon their return in Shiroku, they would have quite a busy schedule. There were some loose strings that still had to be tied up, like the Bracelet Tournament and the Omega fight. There were also quite some people that Victor wanted to question about their magic and/or involvement in the spiritual. There was Kurisu, who seemingly got possessed during the battle against water Leo. Aaron, who apparently had some sort of spirit-voice in his head. Kasai, who reacted to the spirit buff Victor had given him in a very unexpected way during the battle and even seemed to have transformed. Amie, who apparently had knowledge about different dimensions... And those were just the ones whom he knew a little about so far. The elemental mages, Sho, Kasumi and Iwao also seemed like they could have more information. The same would go for principal Mamoru Sekai and the infamous Yuuki Xecrent, but those two would most likely be difficult to question. The mysterious Lightbringer that he had only seen shortly would most likely form an interesting source of information as well. In short, he would be able to ask question to his hearts content... Or until Excalibur would show up again.
Back at Shiroku
It was short after their return in Shiroku that Antanasia managed to get herself in the position of Student Council President. She had managed to win the elections for it, though it was rather the poor competition than her own talent that made her win. Nevertheless, she had the required the needed resolve to work hard for this position. She would use it to protect the school, to hunt wolves in sheep's clothes and to organize fun events. Victor could barely believe it when he heard that she had managed to become the Student Council President, as he instantly wrote ever single person that voted for her off as a next level incompetent fool. However, his own quests hadn't been very fruitful either. Short after their return, he found out that Diana had left the school after she had realized that he wasn't capable of answering her love. He did not know what to think of it, except for the simple thought that this had been the least troublesome solution for him. It was no longer required for him to figure out his feelings, as Diana had already decided what they were. Furthermore, he and Antanasia also managed to find out the truth behind the bracelet tournament. It turned out that Johnathan was forced to play his role in it after his parents were kidnapped. Now that this was he revealed, Johnathan had decided to leave the school in an attempt to save his family. Johnathan had left on his own accord, not wishing to ask any of the others for their help. It was foolish, but Victor did not blame him for it. Rather, he realized that this too, was the least troublesome solution for him. Victor also realized that some of the other persons of interest on his list had seemingly disappeared. There was no sign of the principal, Mamoru Sekai, nor was there a sign of the infamous teacher Yuuki Xecrent. The student with the voice in his head, Aaron, also seemed to have vanished, as well as his former roommate Yukio Nakahara. It also seemed like a group of other people had already defeated Omega, meaning he could cross off quite some things on of his 'to do' list, though none of it had been fulfilled in a way that was productive for his quest. It was in her duties as the Student Council president that Antanasia first learned about a man named Jacques, whom had threatened to attack the school in a letter. Little did she know about the story behind this man and the person that his letter had been addressed too. However, they both had a history that was connected to Shiroku as well.
Jacques La Fontaine - Child Years
Jacques was born with the name Andrei Vavilov and was raised in Kamchatka, a peninsula in the Russian Far East. He grew up in a village that had little to no future to give to any of the kids that were growing up there. It had a highly lacking educational system, people were very poor and it lacked any sort of social welfare. People in the village either grew up to be a farmer or a forester, or they joined the one of the bigger companies that needed cheap labor workers (like the big oil companies and the mining facilities). A few people tried to leave the village to attempt to build a future elsewhere, but almost none of them had much luck in it. Jacques was only a few years old, around five, when his entire family was killed by a single ability user. This ability user, a pyromancer, managed to burn down his entire village and all of its inhabitants. The only exception was Jacques. Short after the pyromancer had entered Jacques house, he burned down Jacques' parents right in front of him. The pyromancer then pulled the young kid outside of his house with force, afterwards burning down the house itself. After he had ignited Jacques' house, he slowly turned towards the shivering kid. Even though Jacques was only five years old at the time, he still remembers the words that the pyromancer said to him very clearly, as if it was yesterday. “Do you know what is more fun than burning down an entire village? Do you know what is more fun than burning everything and everyone to ashes equally?” Jacques had already wet his pants long ago, as his trembling little body was unable to deal with the stress of the all-burning fire raging around him. The pyromancer squatted down in front of the boy and looked him straight in the eyes, as a wicked smile formed on the pyromancer's face. “It is the fun of burning down everything to ashes… Everything, but a single little kid. It is the joy of seeing that kids face when his whole life burns around him. It is seeing the beauty of the all-consuming flames illuminate that kids tear filled eyes when his little brain tries to comprehend what is happening around him. It is looking at the kid while it is breaking down slowly, as the magnificent flames are consuming everything he cares about in their destructive dance. That, kiddo, is what is the most beautiful thing that a person can see in life. These are the sights that tell us why we are alive.” The pyromancer then petted Jacques on his head. The boy was far too afraid to move, paralyzed by the fear raging through his veins. The pyromancer started to laugh, before he continued speaking. ”But, you see kid, when everything has turned to ash, new things will rise from the ashes. That is another beautiful thing about fire. It cleanses all that is old and makes way for all that is new. It allows new things to grow freely on the ashes of the old things. Now tell me, kiddo, will you start growing? Will you use these ashes of your past to grow into something beautiful? Will you build up something that is worthy to be burned down all over again?” The pyromancer laughed as he stood up, waving goodbye towards the kid and walking off. He didn't hurry, as there was nobody left alive to pursue him. He had all the time in the world. All that was left alive and standing, was one little boy. A little boy called Jacques.
The Prodigy
It was three days later that the village was first visited by the first rescue workers. Jacques was still alive, but only barely. The boy had been sleeping outside, in the cold for multiple days, without any food. It was a small miracle that he had somehow survived and could still be saved. After spending multiple days in the hospital, he was sent to an orphanage in the European part of Russia, more specifically, in Moscow. It turned out that the kid had an incredibly talent for learning just about anything. Languages, sciences, humanities. He was a prime example of a prodigy in learning about all subjects he could possibly learn about. However, he barely spoke and he had no friends whatsoever. All he seemed to care about was learning. He truly had an incredible drive to learn. The fact that learning came very easy to him didn't make him lazy. In fact, it only seemed to stimulate him more. He would often push himself to his limits by spending day and night reading books and learning. His efforts were soon acknowledged, and he was placed in a school for highly intelligent children. Even there, he managed to top many of the other students. This still didn't make him very popular, but in here, he wasn't a complete social outcast either. He was happy there, for as long as it lasted.
Another Incident
It was short after he had turned seventeen that an attack struck the school. Some sort of shady organization was looking to capture some of the highly intelligent children, as they wanted to use them in some sort of strange experiments. They shot down all the adults in the building and gathered up all the kids that they could capture. Jacques was one of those kids. In less than an hour, he had seen most of the people he had grown to care about being shot in front of his eyes while the others were dragged off, never to be seen again. Once more, he lost everything he had. Jacques himself only had to spent three days in capture, as he was the only kid that the police managed to free from the organization. The others had either been found dead or remained missing. When Jacques tried to find out why the attack had happened, he realized that nobody knew a thing. Sadly enough, the police canceled all investigations after less than a year. During this year, Jacques had been going to a psychiatrist to recover mentally, but the only thing he truly wished for was for the ones who caused it all to be brought to justice. This is why he started to pick up the investigation himself. After getting into contact with some of the parents of the other kids that had been taken, Jacques managed to gain support from them in the forms of contacts and money. Within a month, he had managed to gather enough recourses to form a small research team that could spent all its time on the investigation. This investigation was also where he first starting to use the name 'Jacques La Fontaine' as a cover name. He never stated why he chose that name, but admitted that it was a strange one. Thanks to this investigation, it turned out that there was only a single person behind it all, a person that had managed to find a way to transfer memories, brain capacity and even 'intellect' from one persons brain to another persons brain. This person turned out to be a rich millionaire that had hired countless shady organizations to kidnap kids from all over the world to enhance his own brain by sacrificing the brains, and consequently the lives, of these kids. This is why Jacques' school for highly intelligent children had been such an important target. Jacques contacted the government, but they turned him down. They told him he had insufficient evidence and that he should stop his investigation, as it interfered with 'national crime investigation'. It was clear that they simply did not wish to apprehend the millionaire, as he was too important to be brought to justice. Jacques, however, didn't take it. He was twenty when he gave the speech to the few people that had helped him during the investigation. “The government has abandoned us. The government allows monsters like these to roam the face of the earth. I shall not stand for it. Where the government stops, I shall continue. When God spared me from the pyromancer that burned down my village, he prepared a path for me. I realize now, that this is that path. My past has lead me to be where I am right now. With my past, God has shown me the future. In this future, I will go to this millionaire. I will end him and all those that work for him. I will free anyone from his grasp. I shall bring Holy Justice upon this evil. You have followed me in the investigation, will you follow me in its conclusion?” Following him was what they did. All of the team. However, they were all researchers and investigators, and most of them weren't even professionals. Not a single one of them was prepared for a battle like the one they followed Jacques into. As such, many of them lost their lives in the immanent confrontation. It was only for some on the spot decision and tactics that they eventually managed to overpower the millionaire that had been behind the kidnappings. It was Jacques himself that shot the millionaire through his head, and according to some people that were with him during the time: “He shot the guy with a wicked smile on his face, and with a twinkle in his eyes. Jacques knew that God was with him, no matter how severe our losses were. Jacques knew that he was allowed to bring Gods justice upon this man, and he enjoyed doing this with all his heart. This is when we all realized it, Jacques was truly sent by God. Jacques was sent to rid the world of its evil. He was a Knight of Holy Vengeance. That was when I knew it, I wished to follow this man for the rest of my life.” After this, Jacques' deeds became known worldwide among governments and crime organizations. Jacques had become something that they didn't know how to deal with. As such, their conclusion was that he would have to die. His actions could not go unpunished, he was too much of a risk factor. In less than a year, countless of assassination attempts had taken place, and not a single of the original team that fought with Jacques against the millionaire managed to survive. He had to see all of them die... Yet that wasn't all. The assassins that were hired to kill him were ability users and altered humans. All of them. They were the evil that Jacques wanted to cleanse the world off. They were the evil that took his village, they were the evil that killed his friends from school, they were the evil that his colleagues from the research and investigation team died fighting.
New Found Resolutions
Jacques was around twenty-three years old when he finally managed to go fully undercover. This was under the wing of a scientist named Leon Goldhearth. A person that taught Jacques many things, including a thorough love for science and a vast knowledge of it. Once more, Jacques found a place to belong, hidden away from most of the world. Yet it didn't last for long. Jacques saw how Goldhearth was slowly being corrupted by evil. Goldhearth began developing idea's of enhancing humans and idea's to give them supernatural abilities. He wished to create the monsters that Jacques wished to destroy. This lead them to have a huge argument, in which Jacques eventually left Goldhearth with the promise that next time they would meet: “I will bring Holy Vengeance upon your corrupted soul. I respected you, but you have lead evil decide your path Goldhearth. Now it shall lead you to your downfall.” Once more, Jacques was on his own. However, the two years he had spent with Goldhearth seemed to have been enough for most governments and organizations to stop thinking of him as a danger. Instead, he had heard of one particular organization that he contacted straight after leaving Goldhearth. This organization was known under many names. Some call them Templars, others call them Illuminati. The trick, however, is that they were all of those and none of those. It was a network of all sorts of branch organizations, semi-structural governments and a great multitude of interconnecting bodies. To put it in understandable terms; they were organized in an untraceable way that was even unclear to most of its members, but they were organized nevertheless. They were the ones that pulled the strings from the background, and Jacques became one of them. Even though he started a rather 'low rank' in the system, he soon managed to rise through its ranks and become an integral part of it.

The Bloody Mary Incident
Due to Jaqcues position, he eventually managed to start his own research facility at the age of twenty-seven. It was a well hidden place, somewhere in the mountains of Switzerland. Jacques was given a royal budget, though this budget was combined with highly demanding tasks. Yet he developed weapons, viruses, chemicals and whatever else they asked of him, as if it was the easiest thing in the world. He even had some spare time to spent on his own research. He had never forgotten the pyromancer, and one of the things he looked into was this man. However, he had also picked up on legends and rumors about a certain 'Bloody Mary' that he heard about. In fact, summoning her, seemed fairly simple. Of-course, Jacques didn't really believe in her. Yet he realized it could be interesting to attempt, especially after a few of the scientist working under him in the facility had asked him about it after hearing the rumors. Some goat blood and chanting later, he had set up a mirror and had said “Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary.” To his surprise... It worked. A spirit appeared from the mirror, but it was a highly murderous one... He could only jump away just in time to avoid the sword like arm of glass that had attempted to cut of his head. Short after that, glass shards flew around, cutting up everyone around him. Jacques still clearly remembers it, how one of the scientist that was about to go on pregnancy leave was pierced through her stomach without mercy, ending her life and that of her unborn child. The horror from that night was indescribable. At the end of the night, he was the only one left alive. However, just before the demon could approach him to finish him off, it seemed to start arguing with itself... ”Please... Please stop this... I don't want the killing... Please just make it stop...” ”Why should I? They asked for it, didn't they? They summoned me on their own accord, so why deny me the fun after that?” ”It's not nice... I can't handle it anymore... Why do you always need to kill and hurt people..? “Do I need a reason? They die when I kill them. I like seeing them die. Hey, tell you what. Whenever I meet someone that doesn't die when I kill them, I'll stop killing altogether. “Is that a promise..? “Sure... I'll even leave that one alive, to prove to you how serious I am~” With those words, the spirit left, leaving Jacques stunned. He had no clue what he had witnessed, besides the violent and gory murder of his entire staff. Yet he lived, once more... It seemed like God had not finished His plans with him yet... For the fourth time, he had lost everything, but his life and his determination. He just had one more non-human to kill on his list, a monster to bring Holy Vengeance upon. Due to the loss of his research facility, he had to find new 'work' to do. The organization wasn't willing to let him handle his own project after such a huge loss and tragedy, so he was placed in a development team for 'alternative energy sources' in a Dutch research facility that was working together with some university students near the location. It was this research that led to the 'creation' of a person that came to be known as Elvario.
Elvario
Elvario was considered one of the most successful human experiments, but also one of the biggest failures. Ever since the discovery of the Philosophers Stone, there have been experiments with it in secret. Many generations of scientists have been trying to find out if it truly caused immortality and all sorts of powers that the legends claimed it grants people that can find out how to use it. Multiple international organizations and governments knew about this research and a lot of them were even funding it in secrecy. Even though it was a very well known research project in multiple secret societies, it was a very well kept secret from the public. For reasons that are still unknown, the Philosophers Stone ended up in a small country in Europe, called The Netherlands. It was studied by scientists from all over the world, whom were sent in by different governments and organizations. The main force behind all of those was often referred to as 'the Illuminati' or sometimes even as 'the Templars'. Most of this research was done in a facility close to one of the bigger universities in the country. They were hiding in plain sight. As the scientists were getting closer and closer to finding out what the stone was capable off and how it worked, one of the newest scientist that was researching the stone carelessly brought it into contact with a piece of titanium. This was during a time at which the stone was already in an unstable state. This specific scientist called himself 'Jacques la Fontaine,' but even the higher-ups didn't know what his real name was. The name he used was likely a name that he had once made up on the spot. It was his first day at the actual research facility, but he was famous in many 'secret' organizations. Jacques was also known for getting into disagreements that ended with people mysteriously suffering from deadly and tragic accidents. Jacques la Fontaine wasn't blamed for anything and was even more mysteriously granted the leading role in the new research on the new 'object' that had 'appeared' after the incident with the Philosophers Stone. Some suspect this was due the the fame he had gained from being the student of Leon Goldhearth. He also had been gradually becoming more famous in the secret society himself, mainly from his involvement with the research team that had studied the 'Bloody Mary cases'. For unknown reasons, everyone in that research team, except for Jacques himself, had died in this mysterious accident. This happened only a few days before Jacques decided to transfer to the Philosophers Stone research division. Jacques however, refused to talk about anything that happened that day while researching the Bloody Mary cases or how exactly he ended up bringing the Stone into contact with the titanium, or why it was in such an unstable state at that time. The unstable state of the Philosophers Stone had caused the Titanium to take over some of the stone its properties. This were mainly properties that caused immortality and prevented memory loss. However, the Titanium couldn't store the stone its full potential and the remaining energy coming from it launched the Titanium away with enough force to pass through everything in its way and out of the laboratory. While it was crushing its way through everything it came across, it suddenly ended up colliding with the body of a student that was enjoying his walk home from the university that was close to these research facilities. It was the person that would soon learn to call himself 'Elvario' for safety reasons. He was the first and only person in all of humanity to become as close to being immortal as one can get, on a simple walk home from his university. The question remained whether this event was his luck, his fate or his doom. His first memories from after the collision with the titanium are from being in the hospital. When he woke up he saw that he had all sorts of scientists and doctors examining every inch of of him and of being attached to all sorts of machines. Saying that it wasn't very pleasant would be an understatement. Most of the drugs used in hospitable didn't work on him anymore, so he had to spend most of the examinations and operations in almost full conscious. To top it off he remembered almost all of it thanks to the Titanium Core. He was stuck in these sorts of hospitals and laboratories for almost a year while his own government had made up some sort of cover story; saying he was suffering from a very rare decease and had to be treated with great care so he wouldn't infect others. The experiments were now hidden further away from the rest of the world, for no-one wanted a second 'incident' to happen. Elvario was forced to agree to voluntarily swallow different poisons and dangerous chemicals if he didn't want any harm to come to his family and friends. His concern for their safety was one of the few reasons he tried to struggle as little as possible during the 'experiments'. Every time he wouldn't cooperate they would threaten him by telling him they would kill or hurt them. When they showed him a newspaper article on how his father had died in a 'car accident' the exact day after Elvario had been 'unwilling' to chop off his own fingers he knew they were serious. With his mind almost broken he could do nothing but follow their orders and try to cooperate without going insane. The year he spend as a research subject, or even as a research object, was brutal. It was torture in every way possible. His body wasn't able to die, but his mind almost did. As if by a miracle he had been able to keep his sanity through it all. The worst off all the people researching him was Jacques la Fontaine. He treated him as nothing more than a rock and came up with the most painful or mentally breaking experiments and he had convinced all others to do so as well, claiming Elvario was 'just an object' for he missed 'the necessary needs that actual humans had'. Elvario learned that Jacques was a student of Leon Goldhearth by the many times Jacques told Elvario how incredible his 'master and teacher' had been and how 'he started to make changes that would bring a new age to scientific research'. Jacques saw himself as the one destinate to spread Leon his ideas, to work them out and to add his own ideas to it. He would use Leon his words and wisdom, increase it, spread it and in the end he would start a 'new age for humanity'. Elvario was just a simple object Jacques owned for his studies. The only thing that kept him sane was his attempt to learn as much as he could from the torture. Trying to learn everything the scientists learned. It was on his 20th birthday, a year later that he was suddenly sent away. The exact reasons remain a mystery, but it turned out to be part of Jacques him plans. Elvario knew that Jacques would do everything for his 'cause' which was trying to kill or capture everyone and everything that wasn't 'human' so that the world be 'saved' from these 'monsters'. His ideals may have been good, but his sadistic nature and the fact that Jacques was balancing on the edge of insanity made him the real 'monster'. Yet Jacques saw himself as a prophet or knight that followed Gods will to cleanse the world of impurity.
Elvario & Mary Their Past In Shiroku
When Elvario had first entered Shiroku Highschool, he thought that things would be better. In a strange twist of events, he ended up summoning Bloody Mary, like Jacques had done before him. However, he was immortal. No matter how much Bloody Mary tried it, she had been unable to kill him. With that, the promise that the the evil spirit side of Bloody Mary had made had to be fulfilled, and the human side gained back some of its control. Both Elvario and the Mary managed to enter some of their happier days. Elvario was rid of the continuous torture, while Mary was finally able to stop murdering and start making friends. They both felt like they were free. However, not long after their arrival, they was dragged into a fight that would decide the fate of the whole world. For some reason the antagonist '0' (Zero), decided not to erase the world even though the school had lost the battle against him. It was only his mercy that granted them another day to live. Just as things started to go well for them, Elvario got a message from Jacques. It was the same message that Antanasia would read upon becoming the Student Council President. Elvario was told that his family and friends were all killed and that Jacques was now targeting the school that had just made friends in. This was the point at which Elvario made the decision to do everything he could to defend the school and its students and teachers. He made the decision to leave the school and to try to go after Jacques on his own. Not much later, Mary disappeared from the school as well, for reason that remain unclear. It was around the same that Cheska had left the school. With Elvario having gone after Jacques, Mary having disappeared and Cheska training elsewhere with her sister Charisse, Victor and Antanasia were the only ones that remained students in Shiroku. However, Victor had yet to unfold the story of what had happened to his sister on the day of Antanasia's creation. The next part of the story flashes back to that unfortunate day through the eyes of Valerica, as it explains what happened after she vanished.
Valerica Frankenstein – The Experiment Part 2
Valerica saw that Victor had been shocked by something that he had seen in his attempt to free Antanasia from the realm he had found her to be locked in. In fact, it seemed like he would loose his concentration. Valerica wasn't sure how this could have happened, but she could only hope he'd keep things together. It seemed like Victor was using all his powers as a shaman, in an attempt to pull Antanasia's spirit out of the dark part of the spirit realm. Meanwhile, Valerica herself was 'starting up' all of the bodily functions that they had to delay. They could only start up some of them at this very last moment if they wanted to body to 'live'. That is when she realized that she had forgotten something vital. It wasn't too late though. She'd just have to inject the drugs quickly. She already had prepared the vial with hormones that she would have to inject into Antanasia to kick-start her hormone system, so it wasn't a big problem. Or so she thought. It looked like everything was going well. But it wasn't. Victor his actions had lured in countless of evil spirits and the defenses he had set up against them were far too weak to resist their rage. However, they would have still been able to prevent the worst if it wasn't for the fact that Valerica had left their optimal 'safe zone' in order to find the vial she needed to inject Antanasia with. Within mere seconds, the situation escalated into pure chaos. Neither Valerica nor Victor had any idea what was going on from that point on, but it was the last time they saw each-other. Valerica felt the rage of thousands of evil spirits coursing through her. In her stubbornness, she ignored it and kept reaching for the vial until she managed to grab a hold of it. She managed to inject Antanasia with the hormones through great effort. That was the last thing she saw of the world as she knew it. It felt like parts of her were 'chipped off' and like she was slowly being torn to pieces and dragged... elsewhere? It was like her body was being torn away from her soul piece by piece, until it felt like her very soul itself was pulled away...
Through the Nothingness
It felt like what little had remained of her was suspended in a great and empty void. She couldn't feel any resistance anywhere, nor did she see anything, smell anything, hear anything... It was just... Empty. Yet even emptiness seems to suggest something, for it suggested that there is something that is empty. This place was different. If anything was to be something, it was her. The thoughts and memories that she had. Those were still intact. Yet they were empty in here. They were void. She was void. Was she? She didn't know... Time went by. Or did it? She wasn't aware of it, as there was nothing that could indicate it. All that remained of time were the memories of it. The memories of this concept, a large construct created by humans to bring order to their surroundings. Yet this place had no surroundings, and it had no humans. So was there time? She didn't know. If there was time, it was inside of her. If there was time, it was her knowledge, her memory of it. That would be all the time there was. All the time in the void. All of a sudden, she felt something. A sensation. It was strange. Like there was some sort of a pull. It brought back the memories of how she used to be. Like her brother, she used to try to avoid trouble. Yet, unlike her brother, she could be pretty demanding and bossy when something didn't go as she planned it. She was always the one that was the first in line, no matter what, when or why. She never had any trouble to take the lead in things, and sometimes took on that position naturally. However, she was kind at heart. She had actually been planning to use what she had learned about the human body to become a surgeon, after they would have finished their experiment. One of her own wishes had been to save the lives of others. Though this was something that she had only wished to do after they had succeeded to fulfill their fathers dream. These plans were never be able to come through though, as she went missing immediately after the experiment succeeded. For all she knew, her brother had died and the experiment had failed. Now she was in the abyss, the void, the nothingness. It was a strange amount for something so empty that a name already said too much about it. The feeling of being pulled got stronger. It broke through the vast emptiness. From there, things happened rapidly. One moment, a flash. The next moment, a loud ringing sound. Then, all of a sudden, she stood in a wide open plain. A gentle breeze was making the grass dance around slowly, as the sun was pouring mild rays of light down on her. She had entered the domain of The Ancient One.
The Ancient One
The Ancient One had remained passive for his entire existence. He would only interfere with the world when a shaman or soul-binder showed incredibly potential. Even then, he only did so with small nudges, never showing his full power or potential. Like no other had he seen how the world was ever changing, and how many spirits changed with it. He had seen the downfall of two of the others spirits from his time. He had seen the once graceful beings that they were having become corrupted, ending up in the vulgar forms of 'Excalibur' and 'Bloody Mary'. Like no other had seen many sects and cults rise and fall. He never intended to interfere much with the world... Yet it all changed when the world itself broke. It split in two. Powers that were far greater than spirits like him were at work. For the first time, he felt insecure. The world's logic seemed to be desperately trying to correct itself, but only more irregularities started to happen in the wake of this event. It was clear that the position of the spirits had also changed, when the remainder of what once had been a powerful spirit, Bloody Mary, was confronted and beaten by a strange being referred to as '0' whom made strange predictions about the future. Their position had become far more intertwined with the world. This was when The Ancient One made a crucial decision. If he would leave the world alone, he would go down with it. That is why all he could do was the opposite. The only option that remained was hoping that interfering with the earth would stop it from going down and dragging along the spirits in its downfall. Yet he was bound by rules and was limited in what he was able to do. He had seen what happened when a being like him would attempt to influence the earth too much... It had become Excalibur's downfall. Excalibur had attempted to make the mountains bow down to him, resulting in the earth rejecting the entire being of Excalibur. Now all that Excalibur could do was interfere with the vision and hearing of the beings that were wandering on the earth. It was questionable if the spirit had been in the possession of intelligence, but if he had been, this downfall seemed to have taken it away. This is why The Ancient One would have to find other ways to interfere with the world. He had seen many organizations and individuals with potential, yet he eventually choose a clan of catpeople that produced very powerful soul-binders as his first disciples. He would attempt to interfere with the world indirectly through them. This seemed to be a success at first, but it became problematic rather fast. Large parts of an organization known only as 'Templars' or 'Illuminati' had declared a war on the cat-people, inspired by books that spread hate against non-humans like those written by Jacques La Fontaine. The Ancient One had chosen one of the most powerful soul-binders, Dakila Magaling Batac, as a test subject for a new project. The Ancient One had seen many ways in which the broken logic of the world was used for otherwise impossible things. The creation of an immortal, the downfall of spirits, the revival of a death girl... Those were just a few of the many situations in which otherwise impossible things were somehow possible. He had also seen the ways in which shamans were able to use lesser spirits to increase the potential of others, or how they were able to curse that same potential with other spirits. He had even seen how some spirits became able to heal others. Based on all of this, he wished to create a 'Living Weapon' that would allow humans to use powers that were otherwise only available to spirits on the earth. First, he would ask Dakila to bind his soul to a weapon, then he himself would bind the soul of a powerful spirit to that weapon as well.
Suu Goo
There are multiple theories on her origin, even though all of these are wrong.
Dakila had managed to bind his soul to the weapon without any issues, but when The Ancient One attempt to bind the spirit that had volunteered to the weapon, things went wrong. The spirit that The Ancient One had chosen was a naiad, a Water Nymph that originated from the an island in the Mediterranean Sea. The spirit had fallen in love with him, but when The Ancient One made clear that a relation between them was impossible, the spirit had chosen to spend her life as one of his servants instead. The Ancient one, however, miscalculated how powerful this naiad truly was. The large amount of power originating from the spirit somehow broke the connection that Dakila had with the weapon and changed it into a gooey substance... How it happened was unexplainable. Yet out of the remaining substance, a creature rose. A creature that would later be referred to as 'Suu Goo'. Dakila realized that the existence of whatever Suu was would be highly problematic, especially if it would be found out by the others in his clan. As the clan leader, it would be unforgivable if they found out he was part of creating a thing like that... So he decided he would attempt to keep her hidden at a nearby island while figuring out... Basically everything. What she was, how much of the original spirit remained, what she could do... Sending her there was his biggest mistake. Only a single day after he had brought her to what he thought was an uninhabited island, Suu was found out by a film crew that was making a nature documentary. Of course they were incredibly hyped when they found out about Suu, and her existence was known to all of the world within hours, making headlines everywhere. At this point, all Dakila could do was hope that nobody realized that he was one of the people behind it. He only saw her a few more times after this, focusing on issues within the clan and the fights and arguments with his sister instead.
PETA
Suu had not been able to understand much of what had happened. Her first memory was a memory of being somewhere on a tropical island and hearing someone with a cat tail refer to her as 'goo' and later on being brought over water to another island by that guy. She had wandered the other island aimlessly until she found other beings on it. They seemed very happy and surprised when they saw her, even though she had no idea why. Short after, they had lured her in with candy and kept pointing weird things at her while making all sorts of noises. Suu decided that she liked these people, as they were giving her sweet stuff. She liked two of them in particular, a woman with and a man with PETA shirts. She didn't get many of the noises they made, but the woman gave her lots of sweet stuff while teaching her that she should refer to herself as 'Suu'. Suu didn't know what it meant, but after a fair amount of time she understood that, even though she was goo, she was also Suu. Yet while other things were also goo, they were not Suu. Simply said; she realized that Suu was her name. The man also tried to teach her words, but he didn't give her much sweet stuff, so she mostly ignored him. However... After having spent some time with them something that she didn't understand happened. The man started making very angry noises at the woman while pointing at her and making all sorts of gestures. The woman started to cry while making noises back at him. Suu wasn't sure what they were doing, but it didn't sound nice... Yet that wasn't the worst part. The man suddenly pulled out a weird thing that made a loud noise, after which the woman fell down and started loosing much of a red liquid. Suu didn't know what it was, but it didn't look good, so she tried to dribble healing goo over it. For some reason it didn't work. It was strange. She hadn't used it before, but for some reason she knew that it was supposed help humans... Just like she knew what her other goo forms were supposed to do. Yet this didn't work... She didn't like it, the woman didn't move again. She would not be able give her more sweet stuff and all... That is when the man and the people he had brought suddenly places some sort of glass dome over her and slipped a plate over the ground. She tried to destroy the dome, but she wasn't able to... She wasn't sure how long she had spent under the glass dome, with the guy making all sorts of phone calls while the woman remained motionless on the ground within sight, but it felt like an eternity. Then, all of a suddenly, the man fell down and stopped moving. She didn't really care about the man though, as he was the person that had made the woman stop moving. It turned out it was the guy with the cat tail that had killed him, but he was with someone else. They made noises back and forward, but eventually they put a cover over the glass so she couldn't see anything. After that started a very long time of sitting in the dome and waiting... By the time she was let out of the glass dome, she was in some sort of city. There was nobody around that she knew, so she started wandering around until she ended up in Shiroku Highschool. Unknown to her, that was exactly the plan. Dakila had silently kept an eye on what happened to her, as he felt responsible for her. At first he was happy that the two PETA members had found her and were taking care of her, as he even let his guard down and visited the place less frequently. That was his downfall. By the time he visited it again, Suu was captured underneath a glass dome, the man was making phone calls and talking about selling Suu to some sort of scientist... Not just any scientist, it was a familiar name. Jacques La Fontaine. The woman was laying death on the ground near Suu. It was clear to Dakila that he would not be able to keep Suu safe... So he needed to use his backup plan. He assassinated the man and called in one of the few people he trusted with this problem. Then he sent Suu away to the only place he knew at which she would be accepted. Shiroku Highschool. He still was in contact with the place, for he had kept an eye on it ever since his sister Cheska had went to it. He knew that Shiroku wasn't the safest place, but for the type of being that Suu was, it was likely that it would still be the best place possible. He made sure that the paperwork for her would be done and asked one his companions to bring her as close to the school as he could. With that, all he could do was hope that she would manage to reach it and that she would be welcomed by its inhabitants. Dakila himself however, had other problems to attend to. Being the leader of a clan that went against a force like the Illuminati while simultaneously trying to work with a powerful spirit called The Ancient One wasn't the easiest job after all. That was when he heard about his next task... They would try to create a Living Weapon again. Yet the process was far more complicated this time, in the hope that this would increase the chance of succeeding.
The Central Point
The Ancient One had managed to get all the 'ingredients' he needed for his plan. In fact, everything seemed to have been destined for his plan to be pushed in motion. Not only had he been able to save the soul of a girl that looked capable of what he had planned, she was also from two family lines that he had had his eyes on for centuries, the Frankensteins and the Dalca's. The Dalca's shamanic powers had always been strongly present in their family line. In fact, they even had the blood and genes of the original shaman, Shem, in their bloodline. The Frankensteins their dabbling with the occult side of science found its epitome when two twins combined it with shamanism to give life to what was once death. One of the twins found his way to Shiroku, accompanied by the undead girl. It was the school that combined all the otherwise separate events. The cat-girl, Cheska had went to it. The scientist, Jacques, had sent his 'creation' Elvario to it. The remainder of the spirit, Bloody Mary, had visited it. Another of his fellow spirits, Excalibur, was even present at it currently. Dakila had even sent the creature from the failed attempt at creating a living weapon, Suu Goo, to that same school. It was clear that something was off with that place, attracting this much attention. Besides, this was only from the sources he personally knew about. It wasn't hard to imagine how much else the school would be attracting besides those things. That's why he desperately needed the second attempt at creating a Living Weapon to succeed. He needed someone there that could set things straight where needed. Dakila would not be able to leave the cat-people alone anymore, as he was their leader and had to lead and protect them. Now that the organizations related to Jacques were targeting the cat-people, Dakila's guidance and leadership was needed by his people more than ever. The other two cat-people in the Magaling Batac family, Cheska and Charisse, were not capable of the tasks. The Ancient One wasn't even sure if they would listen to him to begin with. While Cheska was decently powerful, she was stubborn and uncooperative. While Charisse was a lot easier to work with, and often the one making more intelligent choices, she wasn't as powerful. It was unclear what had happened to Elvario, but he would not be able to function for this purpose either, as he was too tied up in the claws of Jacques, who could be classified as some sort of an enemy of The Ancient One. The same was the case with what was left of Bloody Mary, a spirit that was more of a problem and potential enemy than that it was an ally for The Ancient One. What it came down to was simple. He needed to use this human, Valerica Frankenstein, and somehow get her placed in Shiroku to keep things in check. With some luck, she'd even recruit her sibling and the undead girl they created for this purpose. It was decided. He'd try to bring Valerica back to the earth, he'd try to give her a Living Weapon, and he'd try to make sure that she'd work for him in Shiroku.
Diwa Kasiglahan
Being able to work for The Ancient One was something she had considered as quite an honor. This was specifically so because she was relatively young and inexperienced for a spirit. As a nine-tailed fox spirit, she had been dwelling around China for most of her life, tricking and even seducing unsuspecting humans into obeying her. This, of course, didn't make her and her kind all that liked in the folklore and she eventually made an attempt to break with this life-style. This of course, turned out to be a huge failure, as she simply kept falling back into the usual habits and patterns that she had been going through for hundreds of years. It was only when The Ancient One decided to give her a helping hand that she was able to break free from it, and as a way to show her gratitude, she had offered to serve him. However... The tasked that was asked of her now wasn't an easy one. She had seen how the other spirit turned out during the attempt to create a Living Weapon. What was once a beautiful naiad had been reduced to some sort of 'gooish' creature. Not much had remained of the naiads beauty, power and intellect, as it had all been reduced to goo. That's why she had logical reasons to be concerned about the process. That it would change her was certain. That she didn't want to be changed into the sort of being that Suu was, was certain as well. However, the process would be a lot more delicate and carefully planned this time. Furthermore, she was able to meet the girl that was supposed to be wielding her if she'd become a Living Weapon beforehand. It was thanks to the fact that The Ancient One had pulled Valerica out of the dark realm she had been and had placed her in his own realm, Valerica and the spirit of the nine-tailed fox were able to meet face to face. After hearing Valerica's story and after learning how exactly Valerica ended up being 'spirited away' into a dark realm of nothingness, she couldn't help but feel sympathy towards her. She also couldn't help but notice how part of their personalities matched up quite well, or how Valerica was surprisingly knowledge-able for her age. Shortly said, the two took quite a liking to each-other. That's why it didn't take long for them to decide to go on with The Ancient One's plans together. With the outside aid from The Ancient One and Dakila with some of his best soul-binders, the plans were set in motion. Diwa's soul was bound to Valerica's own soul, which severely altered Valerica's appearance towards that of the nine-tailed fox. To everyone's surprise, this also altered the spirit's appearance quite a lot, towards that of a somewhat humanoid child. Furthermore, it seemed like both of their personalities had changed as well... Nevertheless, the process was called a success, as both had kept their memories and both had gained the intended abilities and powers. It was at this point that they were brought into the human world. Unsurprisingly, the time that Valerica had spent in realms other than that of the earth and the changes that she had been through had changed her a lot, which included her physical age. Though her technical age was unclear, the best guess was that she was around five years older at the very least. This meant that she was twenty-three years old, or potentially a few years older, when she returned to earth. After returning to earth, Dakila made sure to help Valerica re-adjust to living her life on earth. It was also Dakila who suggested the names for Diwa, as she had technically been nameless until coming onto the earth. Both Diwa and Kasiglahan were names that Valerica and Diwa herself could agree on, which meant that Diwa was 'Diwa Kasiglahan' from that point out. Short after that, Dakila helped to bind the rapier and bow to Valerica and Diwa. Not exactly unexpected, but still somewhat surprising, Diwa realized that she could not maintain her humanoid form constantly, as the weapons that were bound to them required her to shift herself into those forms. Though Dakila and some of the other soul-binders tried to figure it out, they eventually gave up on it and realized even their knowledge failed to explain how exactly it worked.
Catching Up On Information
Needlessly to say, Valerica had a lot of things to learn about. In a very short amount of time, she had to learn how to use a bow and a rapier. She also had to learn about the reasons that she was made into what she was and about which people she would have to look out for. Many names and places had been mentioned in the list of information Valerica was given by Dakila and The Ancient One, including the news that Antanasia had been a success and was now living with Victor at Shiroku. She also heard the story of Excalibur, of Elvario, Bloody-Mary and Jacques and the story of Suu. Dakila also made sure to tell and warn her about his two troublesome sister, Cheska and Charisse. As she was learning, she was also trying to figure out how she could enter Shiroku. She would probably be considered to old to be a student, but she would probably not be able to utilize her knowledge of the human body to become a teacher either. After all, they could question how and why she had all this knowledge, or why it was very specific in certain cases... Those were questions that would explain the existence of Antanasia, something that had to be kept secret. It was bad enough that her brother had brought Antanasia into a school, yet letting others know what exactly Antanasia was would be even more problematic. That's how she eventually decided to settle on the second-best topic; moral studies. Both she and her other half, the nine-tailed fox, had gained a lot of knowledge on the topic.. Mainly because resurrecting the death and seducing humans to make them do your bidding were things that were commonly regarded as immoral acts by all existing systems of morality, both in religions and in philosophy... Yet it were these kinds of heavy criticisms that had taught both of them about moral studies and that had made them take an interest in the subject. Eventually, everything was done. Valerica had managed to be allowed to teach at Shiroku. Their training with the bow and rapier, even though it was a crash course, had been very successful as the soul-binding had given them a natural affinity for it and and because they were taught by the best teachers in the cat-people clan. There was only one thing that Valerica was looking up too... She'd have to meet up with Victor and Antanasia. Even though it would be a happy reunion, she would explain the changes she had been through, and she hadn't even met the 'alive' version of Antanasia yet. She basically knew Antanasia as nothing more than a work-in-progress corpse... She also knew that it was highly likely that her brother had changed a lot, so she had no idea how he would react to what had happened to her... If she had really wanted to, she would probably have been able to send him a message short after returning to the earth realm. She had even been able to ask Dakila to contact Victor if she had wanted to... But she hadn't wanted to, as she was too insecure about what kind of reaction he'd give... This, would not stop her from going to Shiroku. It wasn't like she had much of choice though, as she had basically managed to become an employee of the kind of spirit that you didn't want to mess with... That, and the more Dakila started to see the similarities between Valerica and his sister Cheska, the more he tried to hush Valerica to leave the island and move to Shiroku. The plan was simple, meet up with her sibling and Antanasia, inform them on what happened and keep an eye out on whatever happened in Shiroku, which included keeping an eye out for Suu. Yet no matter how simple this was in theory, it was something she looked up to a lot in practice.

Tribute to Corpse Party ~ My First Manga

Hi there, and welcome to my manga/anime tribute tribute about Corpse Party! (There is a Horror/"Disturbing" warning here but I'll only post safe/cute images of this manga, don't worry :3)
This will probably surprise you reading this that I am doing a tribute to one of the most gory manga out there but don't be. Corpse Party was actually my first manga I have read and it was 4 years before I found my first anime - Fairy Tail, so you can say that I had a strange approach to manga then. :P I accidentally found Corpse Party on a *ahem* doujinshi site but I stumbled on this manga and was shocked at it's content so much that I had to keep on reading every chapter just to see what happens next!
The manga is all about a group of students who perform a strange ritual and get transported into a parallel dimension and appear to be inside of a dilapidated elementary school.. Needless to say, one by one they all start to die in horrendous ways and only a few survive. But the manga shows it's creativity in each manga by killing the characters in a different order, sometimes not killing them at all. You will start to feel sorry for these characters, even the ghosts who are killing everyone. The main antagonist - Sachiko ( The little girl in the image above) - is just a 7 year-old-girl who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time but seeks vengeance for her death...
And then there's what made me sad - almost sick - was the killing of three kids who were kidnapped and killed. As ghosts, they search for their lost body parts, one's missing his tongue, one is missing her eye and the other girl...... well, is missing her head from the lower jaw up.... And you can actually see the murderer brutally killing these children in the anime in extremely graphic, uncensored content. The kids seek revenge - just like Sachiko does - and they murder everyone who stands in their path. But once they have their lost body parts returned, do they finally go to Heaven. It makes me really happy to see them finally rest in peace. :)
Yep, those are the kids I am talking about. (Before they were kidnapped). It's like I want to give them a hug after all they've been through and tell them that they can rest in peace.... If you can stomach all the blood this manga throws at you, then you're gonna love Corpse Party! The anime is alright but feels rushed compared to the manga. Is it scary? Yes, sort of. There was one scene in particular that I found creepy.
But truth be told, it isn't a bad anime. It just doesn't quite live up to the manga. -- Thanks for reading my manga tribute!

Anime Kitchen : Chocolate Cornets

YAY! A super yummy treat loved by us and by every otaku's spirit animal Konata.
"BUT WHAT ARE CHOCOLATE CORNETS???" I hear you distressed youngsters scream, well chocolate cornets are essentially chocolate custard filled pastry cones, think ice cream cones but the shell is a soft bread-like pastry and the ice cream is the custard filling, it's super yummy. My Favourite Chocolate Cornet recipe comes from the blog Gayathris's Cook Spot & this is the one I'm sharing with you today, I don't need to alter the recipe much, it's a good one, my notes are scattered in there but not many. This blog actually takes this recipe from another blog but the link doesn't work so shout out to 'cooking with dog' blog, which sounds both adorable and unsanitary at the same time. If you need to convert measurements and temperatures: CLICK HERE FOR MEASUREMENTS CLICK HERE FOR TEMPERATURES Let's start!
CHOCOLATE CORNETS
PREP TIME: Won't lie you will need to set aside a few hours for this one. COOK TIME: 10-15mins for cones, less for custard. So let's say 25 to give yourself plenty of time. MAKES: Blog says 12 but I only get 10 because I like my cones plump. Ingredients: For The Dough: Bread Flour 300gm Sugar 2tbs Salt 1tsp Instant Yeast 2tsp Warm Milk 140ml (full fat not skim) Baking Powder 1/2tsp Buttermilk 4tbs Butter 30gm (unsalted or low salt) For The Chocolate Custard: Milk 300ml (full fat not skim) Sugar 4tbs (fine like castor sugar but not powdered sugar) Vanilla Custard Powder 3tbs Cocoa Powder 1 1/2tbs (I prefer cacao powder, it's got a better flavor and is better for you then cocoa) Flour 1 1/2tbs (plain) Butter 30gm (salted) Bitter Sweet Chocolate 70gm (or 70%+ dark chocolate, grate it) Vanilla Essence 1tsp For The Cornet Moulds: Option #1 Food Safe Chart Paper Foil measuring food safe Stapler or Option #2 Go out and get yourself a packet of metal 'cream horn cone cases' (they look like this) (( Note: These things are a super star because it saves you time with recipes like this one AND if you ever want to impress at a pot-luck or date night, but short on cash, get some frozen puff pastry and wrap strips around these things then when baked pipe the inside with fresh whipped cream and shove a fresh strawberry inside, dust with powdered sugar... done, super cheap, super easy and everyone thinks you're a god-damn domestic goddess... so yeah I would just buy the moulds. )) ***you will need some piping bags, just buy the plastic disposable ones as they are more hygienic and less messy to clean afterwards because trying to clean out then dry those piping bags is a heartache you can live without! *** I'm going to assume you purchased the metal cases. If not you need to make some cones using the other materials listed (for the love of god do not use sticky tape to tape your cones together, that's not food safe, the heat of the over will make the tape toxic) Method For The Bread Cone: 1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, instant yeast, salt, and baking powder. 2. Add buttermilk and milk and prepare a soft dough. 3. Knead the dough for 5minutes and then flatten the dough on the counter. 4. Place the butter in the middle and cover it up with the dough. 5. Now it will become real messy. 6. Knead the dough for another 5-7minutes until the butter is incorporated and the dough becomes super soft and elastic. 7. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. 8. Allow it to rise it for 1 hour. 9. Deflate dough (by punching the shit out of it) and divide it into 12 equal parts. 10. Roll each ball into a roll and keep it covered on the counter for 5minutes. 11. Grease the cornet moulds. 12. Flatten each roll into a circle. 13. Roll it into a rope and pinch the edge. Now roll it into a 1 1/2′ long strip which is thin at edges and thicker in the middle. 14. Start from the bottom of the case. Wind the strip from bottom to top and then pinch the end. 15. Place the prepared cornets on a greased tray and allow it to rise for 15-20minutess. 16. Apply a milk wash. 17. Preheat oven to 180C and bake the cornets until the top is golden. 18. Place the cornets on wire rack and allow them to cool. 19. Gently remove the cream horn case from the cornet and store cornets in an airtight box until further use. For The Chocolate Custard: 1. Mix milk along with custard powder, flour, sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla essence. 2. Strain it through a strainer to get rid of any lumps. 3. Heat it and stir it continuously until the mixture becomes pipe quality thick (if too thin keep adding a teaspoon of custard powder, one at a time, and mix till thick, if too thick add a teaspoon of warm milk, one at a time, and mix till it thins out a little.) You need the custard to be firm in the cone, not sloppy. 4. Add butter and remove from flame. 5. Mix until the butter is incorporated. 6. Add grated chocolate and mix until the custard is smooth. 7. Transfer the custard to a bowl and cover it with a cling wrap. The cling wrap must touch the custard. This is to avoid the formation of skin on the custard. 8. Refrigerate until cool. Assembling the Chocolate Cornets: 1. Take the custard in a piping bag. 2. If the cornet has closed over make a small hole at the tip & remove the case. 3. Place the bag inside the cornet and squeeze the bag to fill the cornet with the custard. 4. Repeat for the other cornets.
Serve and enjoy. Hazzah! you're getting closer to living that anime lifestyle.

School really cuts down on your ability to watch anime. Now that all my finals are going on I have had barely any time to watch anything. Somehow I was able to finish Mayo Chiki before the weekend. It was good because it did not feel like an ecchi harem. It clearly was, but elements of it made you think it was a P.A. Works romance show. I thought the story was also quite good for this kind of show. Although, I do think simply telling everyone Subaru was a girl would have been easier. Besides Mayo I am trying to finish Air Gear which I started about 2 years ago but never finished.
