Well, I just thought why not start filling that blog part.
I'll try it out and see how it turns out, feel free to comment or PM for whatever reason!
So, I just ordered a few books from Amazon jp, mainly to improve my reading because I still feel it's lacking compared to listening/speaking.

I got the first 3 Doraemon manga, because I heard they were really easy for beginners, and I have to say it's really true. It's so fun to be able to read in japanese so easily. I recently watched Doraemon Stand By Me, so that's how much I'm familiar with the story. I haven't used the dictionary so far, some kanji were new but with furigana it made perfect sense. This is what I call my warm up. I planned on reading the first 3 manga and then move on to something else but considering it's entertaining, I might buy some more.
Next, I bought a novel by Nanatsuki Takafumi (七月 隆文) called "ぼくは明日、昨日のきみとデートする" roughly "Tomorrow, I have a date with the one you were yesterday" or "Boku wa ashita, kinou no kimi to DATE suru". I never heard of it before, only, it was in the best sellers for romance novels on Amazon jp. I was seduced by cover, title and synopsis. Apparently, it's not even on MAL yet (the author is) and I have to admit, even after a few years on this website, I have no idea how to report a missing entry. Whatever, clever people will probably do it in due time, or maybe I missed something and it's not really the same author. From the first few pages, it seems I'll be able to understand it with a dictionary (I found a new dictionary app on android that works pretty well so far) but I shouldn't need a year to read the 287 pages.

And finally, I got the NHKにようこそ!/NHK ni Youkoso novel. I really liked the anime, I'll probably rewatch it after reading. I couldn't find the novel in french, but that's just the usual, so I tried in english but the price for a used book was a bit too much, and shipping was a rip off. Plus reading in japanese something I really want to read just makes me try harder. This novel does seem harder by the way, but it'll make a great objective to attain.
