Girls and Panzer
So what do you get when you mix moe with tanks. The answer is Girls and Panzer and the result is wonderful. To be honest, I had very low expectations for this anime. The premise is ridiculous but once I had accepted high school girls riding around in war machines for sport I was hooked. Girls and Panzer isn't all mindless action either. The writers have done their research and created realistic tank designs. The fight scenes are also very well thought out. The strategies that the girls employ is logical and generally appropriate for the situation. The plot was pretty straightfoward, but the show didn't need twists to be interesting. Tank fighting was the number one priority and they do a damn fine job of it. The animation was top notch, and the tanks themselves were incredibly detailed. The music was fitting and they did a good job of varying the soundtrack depending on the specific battlefield. Some of the side-characters were a bit one-dimensional, but with such a large cast I can easily overlook this fact. Aside from that the show was excellent.

[Anime] Brain Powerd

Completion of RAINBOW
I finally finished Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin. What an emotional roller coaster it was. I think it was the presentation that really made it stand out. The carefully selected pieces for the soundtrack really helped enhance the whole viewing experience. There sadly will be few shows like this. For the show alone, due to the effort make in presenting it, it certainly is worthy of a perfect score.
Unfortunately even a show with a perfect score still has its flaws. I was disappointing to see that it missed the last two chunks of the manga. Considering this series was out after the manga, I was hoping they could conclude it properly. Not to mention we never saw much background about soldier or cabbage. They had room to make one recap episode, so resources aren't an issue.
I was fortunate enough to be able to get a hold of volume 22. To summarize things here is how it ended and what they could of shown at the last episode. Its 1968 which takes 10 years after Mario's return to the ring. I'm guessing the characters at this point are in their late 20s/early 30s.
Mario: Maybe I saw it wrong, but apparently according to the picture I saw, he finally becomes world champion and fulfills Sakurai's dream and the promise to his mother.
Turtle: Being a successful businessman, he sets up his own money lending business becoming very rich in doing so.
Scam: Completes his studies and becomes a lawyer.
Cabbage: Being a pro wrestler, he finally gets married.
Soldier: Becomes a police officer/prison guard to the new generation of delinquents. Marries Joe's sister.
Joe: Despite being told he screwed up his chance, Joe manages to release an album that hits the top of the charts. He is now a star being chased by girls in the same way the Beatles were mobbed by hundreds of female fans.
The beauty of all this is despite how many obstacles the jail, society or even life itself threw at the boys, they never gave up their dreams. Perhaps it a cliche, but I find very few series that portray struggling and human bonding as well as this. It is important to believe in yourself but do not forget the others around you. Every minute spent on this series is not wasted.
"Where will we go now? We still haven't decided. But it doesn't matter. We are able to choose any path. Because at last we are finally....free."
At last the boys who were ones trapped in jail and life's cage became free to pursue the dreams they wanted.

Visual Novels
A late post, but better late than never. I started playing VNs around April. For me, I find VNs to be more of a "every now and then" kind of thing. I just continue and play them when there's nothing else to do.
Anyway, my first VN was Rewrite by Key. I was kind of glad there weren't any H-Scenes, since the plot itself is dark and mysterious. It would just feel out of place, unless it was a GOOD END. I didn't completely finish all of the routes though :X.
This will just be a list of VNs I plan on playing throughout the next few years (decades?). Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for some of them to be completely translated, but I plan on learning Japanese in a couple of months.
I'll have to admit, some of them kind of creep me out.. in a "WTF No WAY" kind of way. I think the VNs with H-Scenes will do that more to me than the others. (Even though most of them are...)
Bolded Entries are my Top Priorities.

Signatures
In my spare time I like to make little signatures for myself and people. Granted, I'm only a beginner at this, but I try my best. If you would like to request a signature graphic please message me c: As long as I'm not on Hiatus I'd be happy to accept. I also lurk around the creative forum for requests, so chances are if you make a request there I will pop up sooner or later.
The anime relations are all the anime in which I have themed a signature off.
