ZettaiBlog 293: British desu

WARNING: BECAUSE OF REASONS I MUST TELL EVERYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 TO GET OUT OF MY BLOG! OBEY OR I’LL BE DEFENESTRATED! ALSO BE WARY OF WILD ROAMING SPOILERS! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! Welcome back. Last time a Russian loli was covered. Now we will cover a British teen instead. : International month! Blonde girls month, mistress. But like real blonde, not light brown which Americans call blonde because they can’t talk right. : Yet you speak using their English version anyway. Convenience. : Riiiiight. I mostly learned English from the Internet and video games. It was obvious. : Hallo! *enters* I came here for the blog thingy! : Thingy? Yes. Now let’s all welcome… : Kirino!? : Kin’iro which means golden! Yeah! Because of the blonde bias the show has. : Sounds like every other series… More than usual. But the show is still good! : Zettai! Talk about me and let me show Alice and Ayaya and everyone the blog! Huh, that might not be the best idea since naughty things might happen… : Naughty? : Like this! *spanks Karen outta nowhere* : Ooooh! Much better than mommy’s hand for sure! *blushes* : Awkward… Indeed. Let’s move into the blog. : …Agreed. Body Hair Karen has blonde hair. This is actually not very good since main heroine Shinobu has quite the ridiculous obsession with blondes, constantly praising them and even imagining herself blonde at some point which was terrible and kinda annoying. Because blonde hair isn’t overrated enough. That said, other than that Karen’s hair is pretty good. She has long hair but not overly long, with a cute bun on the side and windswept bangs along two cross shaped hairpins. Without the praise she would score fairly well, but sadly she loses points from that. And dammit, someone tell Japan the average British person is not blonde. Score: 6 Eyes Karen has purple eyes. Those are fantastic and look quite good. Plus it helps differentiating her from Alice the other British girl since she has blue eyes instead. Not that they look that much alike, but it’s nice the series did not give both blondes blue eyes too as that would be extra annoying. Anyway the shape is tsurime but slightly curved, looks cute and suits her fairly well. Not sure if she wears glasses though, but otherwise good work here. Score: 9 : Glasses? You would like that? Indeed since some glasses are very cute! : Here! *puts on Karen thick red glasses* : Yay! Now I look cuter and smarter! *fixes glasses* Build Karen does well. Surprisingly she’s the second shortest girl at 150cm with only lolish Alice being shorter. She also has small breasts and looks slender but still feminine, which is quite nice. She could use a curvier lower body maybe but for cute girls anime standards she’s really good. No complaints here. She also eats a lot but doesn’t get fat. Score: 9 Butt Karen never shows ass. Or maybe “arse” which would be more appropriate here. Either way boo. Shame since anime British girls are often assy. Score: 1 : Sorry for coming from a cute show… *pouts* It’s all fine. Despite the score I don’t really mind. Blogs are too biased towards fanservice shows. Sorry. : Cool! Thanks for the explanation! Cheerio! *celebrates* : Cheerio? : Sounds like a cereal brand. Clothes Karen does alright here. Her normal clothes are nothing special but her Union Jack jacket stands out. Much like Bandit Keith the woman is just proud of her birth place. Noteworthy costumes are her swimsuit and the fast food restaurant uniform she wears once and may be referencing another role of her voice actress. Official art adds a frilly maid outfit and that helps plenty. Not bad for cute girls anime standard. Score: 7.5 Mind Personality Karen doesn’t have much backstory. She’s from England though half-Japanese too and a childhood friend of Alice one of the main characters. When Alice heads off to Japan early during the series Karen follows suit and the two study with Shinobu the main girl. They have normal fun lives and silly stuff happens. Blame shows about nothing being hard to describe here. Good personality though. Karen is energetic and friendly, playful and nice. She loves her friends though fears her scary mom. She’s beloved by everyone and loves everyone back too. Overall the girl is just fun. Score: 8 Reception Karen is hit and miss here. The hit is she’s quite popular for cute girls anime standards, and has good but fair screentime. The miss is she and Alice really get the lion’s freaking share of the fanart, which considering the show really feels like blonde bias. Way uncool. I can’t score her too low but not that high either. Shame about that. Score: 7.5 : I’m just friends with everyone! Yeah, all that frienergy is the thing… : Friewhat? *looks confused* : Zettai, stop referencing little girl anime! Libido Karen is alright here. She has some potential romance with other girls, with Aya/Akari/Alice being the prominent ones. But the biggest one is Honoka who feels like the biggest candidate. Otherwise there isn’t much here. Score: 6 Age Karen is yet another high school student. Good scores by default and stuff. Birthday is the 1st of December case curious. Score: 9 Voice Nao Touyama sounds quite cute. She also has good English seems like. Karen also speaks with katakoto/broken Japanese and that is apparently endearing. Score: 8 Total: 71 - Excellent : Looks like I did well! Indeed, but not great. Like said blame being from cute girls anime. : Still thanks for this! Now I gotta leave! See you soon too! *leaves* : What now? Time for a childhood friend artist with occasional glasses! : Sounds like a fun heroine!

The mobile app development services are not optional any more, they have become mandatory. Information technology is such a booming sector that 21st century is said to be ruled by the Internet. The internet has shrunk the world into the palm of a human being. This has made the mobile app an indispensable part of the marketing strategy of any company. Merely having a mobile app does not mean that the full potential of the mobile app is realized. On the contrary, constant effort has to be put in to optimize the utility and productivity of the mobile app. The demand of mobile app designing has increased the number of companies offering the services pertaining to mobile app design development. What services do these agencies offer? To keep the competition at bay, the mobile app design companies have started offering a wide array of services such as registration of domain name, mobile app designing, mobile app hosting, mobile app development and promotion of the mobile app. Let’s see what is covered in each of these services. Registering the Domain Name: This is about searching and selecting the name of the mobile app that is going to feature in the URL. One cannot select the name that is already being used by some other mobile app. The mobile app name must be unique. The name of the mobile app can be the name of the business or even directly related to the services offered. After deciding the name, the process of registering that name follows. Mobile App Designing: This is one of the most important aspects of online business because it is the end result of the mobile app designing that the visitor is going to see. The mobile app service offering company should be able to design the mobile app in such a way that it is user friendly as well as search engine friendly. The visitor should feel comfortable on visiting the mobile app and the content should be able to convert this visitor into a buyer. Mobile App Hosting: The terms and condition of those who provide mobile app hosting services needs to be thoroughly analyzed, especially with reference to costing and reliability. There are many mobile app design and development companies that interact with these service providers on the behalf of the mobile app owner. Mobile app development and promotion: Mobile app development and mobile app promotion is a never ending process because the virtual world of internet is changing every fraction of second. This is mainly because of entry of new mobile app in the World Wide Web. Once the mobile app designing is done, it does not mean that the business is going to flow automatically. The mobile app needs to be constantly developed and upgraded to be search engine friendly. The mobile app design development agency needs to be adept at the strategies for search engine optimization and promoting the mobile app utility. This could be done through incorporating the mobile app with key words, keyword phrases, incoming and outgoing links, upgrading and making the navigation easy. The mobile app could be promoted through techniques such as email marketing, social media marketing, and banner advertisements. It is advisable to keep a note of the above mentioned information when hiring the services of a professional mobile app design development agency.

okay to some extent i appreciate theming on the anime shows i like, but the issue is that this would be theming on the shows i like, rather than theming on "anime" in general, because anime in general isn't a theme unless you try to make random big-eyes-small-mouth cute girls with oversized heads and face faults and gratuitous japanese a theme. which is not a theme i like.

Guide Review - 'Slot Machines' by Marshall Fey - Book Review

Images of America Reno is exactly what the name suggests, over 200 great photos of the gaming town of Reno, Nevada as presented by 30-year veteran newsman Guy Clifton. Clifton, a Reno native, authored the excellent biography of 1930's Reno resident and Heavyweight Boxing Champ Jack Dempsey. In Reno, Clifton offers vintage photo after photo showing the growth of the town, its most famous characters, and the city's amazing contributions to American society from boxing championships and the Reno Rodeo, to open gambling from best online casinos, that helped make the once small town, "The Biggest Little City in the World." The book cover shows a wonderful shot of a late 1940's Fourth of July parade on Virginia Street as it passes the Frontier Club, most notably owned by "Pick" Hobson, who later owned several other Reno casinos including the most famous Reno landmark, the Riverside. In July of 1946, Dallas nightclub owner Fred Murrill was granted some very high limits on the craps game at the Frontier, including a $23,000 pass line bet with $46,000 odds on the point of four. It hit, and the $115,000 win was one of the highest on a Reno crap game for years. Unfortunately, the Frontier didn't have the cash to redeem Murrill's chips at the end of his play, so co-owner Dub McClanahan had to fly to Dallas the following week to pay Murrill the $141,375 still owed from his streak of Reno luck! Birthplace of Gambling Reno could never be called the birthplace of gambling, as there were casinos all over the country for years and years, but Nevada, Reno in particular, which as refereed to in magazines of the 1920's as the harlot of America) was the first state to allow open gambling in 1931. The town of Reno openly embraced gambling, but offered much more to visitors, from easy divorces to sports, recreation, and big-time entertainment like the Reno Rodeo, billed as the "Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the World," for years. The Photos Obviously a book called "Images of America" is going to be dependent on the photos found inside, but in the case of Guy Clifton's Reno, the photos certainly don't disappoint. They highlight Reno the way it used to be, and the way it changed over the years, including a most famous landmark, the Reno arch, which also changed over the years. Other landmarks in Reno, like the Mapes hotel casino, are seen when they were brand-spanking new, and when they were so old they had to be imploded. Great photos of the casinos of Reno are sprinkled across many chapters, and later photos even highlight current favorites like the Eldorado and the Peppermill. Readers will also enjoy photos and snippets of information about casino owners like Harold Smith and Bill Harrah, who each had success and failure before arriving in Reno. However, Reno's open gaming and the town's residents and visitors helped both become legends in the gaming community. The Bottom Line Long before Las Vegas was much more than a railroad water-stop in the desert, Reno was a news-making, no-holds-barred city of gambling, divorce, and freedom. Residents reveled in their on heaven of open spaces, beautiful sun-filled skies, and the choices that a wide-open town offered. Guy Clifton's Reno allows readers to experience what the town was like back in it's hey-day. How can anyone ask for more than that? The bottom line is this: the photos are great, the author's notes about them are concise and revealing, and the overall experience is terrific. If there was anything I could wish for, it would be even more text about a town I hold near to my own heart after spending much of my life there, but truth be told, anymore would probably be superfluous. The book stands on its own. Enjoy!

Another 2019 Goal

It's already March, but I'm giving myself another 2019 goal. It's not a tough one though. By the end of the year, I'd like to have to watched every episode of the indigo league part of the Pokemon anime in Japanese. I watched the series as a kid and roughly know what happens, but I'd like to compare it to the original. I did the same with Digimon a few years back and it was a fun experience. Im on a huge Pokemon spree right now, so this is something I really want to do.

Bad Is Easy. Good Is Hard.

I'm doing another one mostly because I think looking back on this in a couple of years would be pretty cool. It's like a glimpse into what I was thinking. Kind of like how seeing exactly when I watched a show on MAL is something that I just find interesting. Hopefully future me doesn't see this as awfully cringy. I've noticed recently that it's a lot easier to explain why a show is bad than why a show is good. There are certain things that you can generally just spot and understand that it's not good for storytelling. Things like boring characters, plot holes, bad animation. It doesn't take a genius to see this in an anime. On the other hand, I often have a hard time explaining why I enjoy a show. I know that I love Legend of the Galactic Heroes because of its long overarching plot but what else? The characters are good? Well why are the characters good? I often find myself at a loss for words when I ask myself that question. It gives me a whole new level of respect for people who are particularly good at analyzing anime and understanding its fundamentals. I don't know if there is really much of a message in this other than maybe instead of looking at the inconsistencies in a show, I should try and look closer at what makes it good. I might enjoy anime more that way.

Anime Pilgrimage List

If you haven't heard the term before, an "anime pilgrimage" is the act of traveling to the real world locations which were used as inspiration/visual references for settings in anime. In this "living list" I will talk about some of the anime pilgrimage locations that I'd most like to visit someday when I get around to traveling the world; currently the only place I've been to outside of the contiguous United States has been Canada. So yeah, this list is an active work in progress. For now, I'll just be using the pictures from my Top 100 Anime/Manga List, because if a series isn't at least in my Top 100, then why would I care to visit its locations? I might eventually create unique images for this list, but this will do for now. Anyway, on to the list!
