Good evening, morning or whatever it is in your time and welcome to my blog. I have been thinking about making this because there are quite a lot of animes that I have thought of watching for years but never couldn't mainly because I was too lazy and a lot of things came in between as well which distracted me from not just watching animes and entertainment but the most important things as well. All the time I said I will watch this certain anime and kept saying this for years so I thought it is better to make list like this. I do like writing a lot in a way and making a blog about this sounded fun to me. But one thing stopped me from making this time and time Well what was it you ask? In all summary it was all unimportant bullshit that made me stress over it for no reason. I was focusing on more useless things than what really was in front of me. I did have few people to share the feeling with but I even stopped that. Until 9th grade came which was last year and things started to settle a little and by October last year I threw all those feelings away and I feel a lot better now. I will now try to be more active on mal and other media. I'm also in progress of my writing better reviews and I will try talking to my friends more because I have noticed is that all the time they are the ones who even waste their time to come to my profile and say hello or something (you know what? thank you) so I kinda feel guilty about it. So, I will also do more better things on other sites as well and once I start it, I will surely put the link in my profile. Now fuck my personal data before I type more and start with this list. Btw they are the first 20 (in no order), once I finish them first then I will add more. 1. Ballroom e youkoso I have been wanting to watch this since the time it was airing as it had a Haikyuu like animation but even I don't know why I didn't watch this at that time. 2. Chihayafuru So this anime was recommended by a lot of friends and I have heard that it's going to get a third season this year as well. 3. Fruits Basket What made me attracted to this series was the female lead and the manga that gets a lot of praises. I have heard that the anime is someway bad but might as still watch it and the remake that is coming this year then i might read the manga. 4. Maid Sama! I do have a soft spot for shoujo anime. I have seen a lot of shitty ones but great ones as well so I hope this will be one of them. 5. Devilman series Ah, devilman, heard so many good things about this series as well as bad things but overall I'm really looking forward to it. What I like about this series is the title and the protagonist as well as it being an old anime. I have seen some screenshots and it looks brutal too which is my type exactly. I will first watch the original series then devilman crybaby and then the manga. I know that a lot of people will say to watch the new devilman but I prefer to watch the first one. 6. Princess Principal I thought this was going to be another generic fanservice anime but a lot has proved me wrong so might as well see it for myself. 7. Samurai Champloo I have been meaning to watch this for past 3 years but it was like no and no so now here it is. This anime is liked by my friends and family members alike. And I also am itching to watch this. 8. Shinsekai Yori I have heard this anime has a surreal and dark atmosphere along with some LGBT elements which to me sounds really interesting and is exactly my type of anime As it has dark atmosphere and is also by A-1 Pictures whose works such as SAO I really don't dislike that much, I definitely want to give this a shot. 9. Gankutsuou Just by the looks of this anime, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna enjoy this especially the art is very eye catching and the characters look interesting. 10. Tsuki ga Kirei This anime really reminds of Kimi no Nawa (which is a good movie) mainly because of the characters and the art. I have positive expectations from this. 11. Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho This anime has to be one of the best animes of the year as I have heard from a bunch of people. So of course it has caught my eye and I've been wanting to watch this for quite a time too. 12. Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom I have read and seen mixed up reviews and reactions from people about this anime. Some say it is really bad, some say it is mediocre to the eye and some say it is really great. And I wanna judge this from my own perspective. 13. Mai Hime They say that this is really similar to Madoka but a better one. I really liked Madoka Magica and the characters so I hope this will be the same. 14. Marmalade Boy This anime looks really similar to Full Moon and Kodocha which were well done shoujos i have ever seen. Shoujo female leads always seem to be appealing to me and so does this one. I don't expect much from this anime but I hope it will be a fun time. 15. Hinamatsuri Heard a lot of good things from this anime and a lot of characters look pretty cool. I will definitely watch this really soon. 16. Akatsuki no Yona One of the best shows done well by the notorious Studio Clown and I hope it lives up to the expectation. 17. Kemono no Souja Erin Few people say that it's a really underrated show and needs more attention. I have watched a lot of underrated shows which were really good tbh so will give this a try as well. 18. Excel Saga Comedy is a really fun genre and someone like me really loves comedy so I never want to miss out on good ones and Excel Saga is what's been recommended a lot to me. 19. Ima Soko ni Iru Boku I said I would watch this anime like two years before but missed out. I'll try this anime really soon. 20. Amagi Brilliant Park Tbh I heard from a lot of people that it is pretty bad but I still wanna watch it to see what it gives. These were all the animes that I will watch in near future. My Favorite Songs

For fun, I thought I would make a list of a bunch of my favorite songs. Unlike my Top 100 Anime/Manga list and other things I've done in the past, this will be a "living list" that I will update every now and then, editing it to add new songs as I see fit and think of new things which I'd forgotten to include in the initial post. I've always been a pretty big fan of music. While I'm not all that "in touch" with music these days, I was into a lot of stuff when I was in my late teens/early 20s. Because of that, many of the things on my list will be songs that came out from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. I've tried to use official YouTube videos as often as I could in the below list, both to support the creators and to reduce the risk of having to re-do some of these because the video I used was taken down. Enjoy!

My Favorite Songs (No Particular Order)

Taproot - "I" As a quite, reserved, yet kind of emotional kid (or teen/pre-teen) with not-that-great self esteem, this was one of the first songs to really speak to me on a personal level. While I'm not that huge of a Taproot fan overall, this song would always be included in a "Soundtrack of My Life" playlist. I'm also rather fond of their song "Poem" which I remember jamming out to in karaoke when I worked at a bowling alley in college. Korn - "Alone I Break" Korn was a pretty big part of my high school years. I got all of their CDs and jammed to them pretty regularly. "Alone I Break" is my official favorite song by the band. While it's a bit softer than a lot of their other stuff, I really enjoy the melodic groove and the lyrics really speak the my inner angsty teen self. Chevelle - "Closure" This song has a good amount of significants in my personally life a while back which is a bit of a longer story than I'd really like to get into.... So yeah, it's a pretty damn good alternative rock song, in my opinion! Linkin Park - "Papercut" Linkin Park was a HUGE part of my late-teen and early-adult life. Hybrid Theory was probably one of my most played CDs ever and this opening track is still awesome. The death of Chester Bennington was one of the most devastating celebrity deaths to me, right up there with Satoshi Kon. No December - "Resistance" This is probably the most obscure song on my list. No December was a local Boston band which I discovered thanks to a personal website called "Bleached Fun With Lemon Squares" created by a guy named Scott. Sadly, as the "old internet" is dying/dead now, there are only little fragments of the website still in existance, such as this 311 concert review, but finding Bleached Fun was a pretty big thing for me in the early 2000s. I just happened to find it when I was looking for Final Fantasy pictures or something, but it ended up introducing me to a lot of really great music as well as being my first introduction to AMVs (Anime Music Videos). So yeah, even if he doesn't know it, I kind of owe Scott a lot. I hope he's doing well. Anyway, No December's CD "In the Essence of Innocence" is overall just great. Mindless Self Indulgence - "Straight to Video" Mindless Self Indulgence is one of my official top three favorite musical acts (along with Boy Hits Car and Tech N9ne). They are the first band I ever went to see live and the band I've seen live the most often (three times total). Straight to Video might not be my absolute favorite song by them, but it's probably my favorite of their singles and it does rank up there overall. Boy Hits Car - "Man Without Skin" The second of my three favorite music acts, and one that I might officially call my "favorite" band period, I'm really into Boy Hits Car's sound. As mentioned in another blog post, I happened to discover this band through the English dub of the "Lord Slug" Dragon Ball Z movie. Kind of odd, but the band has really stuck with me over the years. Unfortunately they don't utilize their official YouTube channel much anymore and are not particularly active in general these days, but they are supposedly working on a new album! On a very personal note, I'd like to have their song "Beneath The Sea's Bed" played at my funeral. "Man Without Skin" is also a song that really speaks to me from their old self titled CD which was my first CD of theirs that I owned. Tech N9ne - "Breathe" And finishing off my official top three music acts, Tech N9ne is easily my favorite rapper. He has an immense level of skill and some very interesting narrative songs, something that I particularly enjoy in my rap music. Breathe is one of my favorite songs of his because I feel like it is Tech N9ne at his most pure; just him with his fast rhymes and dark subject matter, everything is just great. I do also like many of his collaborative songs as well such as "Fragile" and "Straight Out The Gate". He is also the only rapper that I can think of who has done a song with an anime music sample with "The Rain" taking from Cowboy Bebop. Pretty cool, although I kind of wish Yoko Kanno would have been mentioned in the CD jacket. =P Supercell - "Kimino Shiranai Monogatari" One of my favorite anime-related songs, the ending theme to Bakemonogatari is just lovely. The song ties into the series great, especially in the episode when Araragi and Senjougahara go on a date together (one of my favorite episodes in all of anime ever). I really like this era of Supercell and it makes me a bit sad that they don't use this singer anymore. Another great song from the same album is "Perfect Day" which has a really nice animated music video. Chrono Cross (Yasunori Mitsuda) - "Dream of the Shore Near Another World" Oh boy, THIS SONG!! I remember playing Chrono Cross and going to the alternate world for the first time. I was so moved by the overworld theme that I probably left the game on and chilled with that music for about a half hour. I did something very similar when the song "You're Not Alone" came on during Final Fantasy IX, and that did trigger me buying my first ever video game soundtrack, but "Dream of the Shore Near Another World" is probably my favorite video game song ever and I actually like Yasunori Mitsuda a bit more than Nobuo Uematsu. Final Fantasy X (Nobuo Uematsu) - "Auron's Theme" But speaking of Nobuo Uematsu and Final Fantasy music, I do still really like that stuff and "Auron's Theme" is one of my favorites and one that is very significant in my life. First, when Final Fantasy X was first coming out, since the name Auron was spelled the same way in Katakana as the name Aaron, some people where calling Auron "Aaron" early on. And hey, Aaron is my first name! So I kind of adapted this song as MY theme. It doesn't hurt that the song is just wonderful with a similar feel to FFIX's "You're Not Alone" and that Auron is just an awesomely cool character. So yeah, I love this song. Project Majestic Mix: Squaredance (Chrono Cross) - "From The Depths of Time" Speaking of video game music that is very closely tied to my past, there was a time when I was rather into video game music remixes. The people behind the Project Majestic Mix releases were what I'd consider to be the cream of the crop when it came to Square-related remixes for their time. This song in particular has a HUGE nostalgia factor for me because I remember listening to this CD for the first time on a portable CD player during a ride either to or from college with my parents. When this song came on, the stutter effect at the beginning was so convincing that I was all like, "Oh shit! Is my CD scratched or defective?!" But before I had a chance to take it out of the CD player to check, the beat kicked back in and played as normal. Damn, the feels.... Flaw - "My Letter" And speaking of "feels" from times in the past, my dad was a photographer, mainly doing pictures for weddings, family portraits, and students. When my older sisters graduated high school, he put slide shows together with various pictures from their lives and set them to music. Since I'd seen their slide shows, I knew that I'd get one of my own for my graduation party. So, since I was really into music at the time, I asked my dad if I could pick the playlist for the slide show, and he said yes. I don't remember the playlist exactly, but I know that it started out with "Auron's Theme" (because as mentioned above, I kind of considered it MY theme). I had "Wonderboy" by Tenacious D to play during a segment that mainly included pictures of me with my little brother. I used "My December" by Linkin Park for Christmas pictures. And Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" was included because it was a standard song for us kids (was in both of my sisters' slide shows). Then, I closed the playlist with this kind of somber yet hopeful song by the band Flaw. Like with Taproot, I never became a particularly huge fan of Flaw, but I did connect with a number of their songs. One of their early singles "Whole" (from the same CD as "My Letter") is another one that I really like. I kind of want to go back and catch up with Flaw after they got some recognition on The Late Show. ^_^ A Perfect Circle - "Passive" I enjoy Maynard James Keenan's voice quite a bit, be it in A Perfect Circle, Tool, or in other projects or guest appearances. This is overall one of my favorite songs of his. It just has a really good groove to it and such. Minami - "Hollowness" One of my newest favorite songs, this really speaks to my inner emo Japanese girl. I just love this song, the video, the lyric.... It's just wonderful. Minami has been getting a lot of buzz lately for the theme song that she did for Domestic Girlfriend and I wish her the best in the future. BABYMETAL - "YAVA!" Yes, I like BABYMETAL and this is easily one of my favorite songs by them. It is just so much fun, a great blend of happy J-pop and hard metal. Great stuff! Melanie Martinez - "Dollhouse" I really enjoy this girl's sound and style. Very interesting unconventional pop music. Not much else to say about it. blink-182 - "Stay Together For The Kids" I was never a big fan of Blink-182's music in general, but man, I love this song. It really speaks to me and some of the feelings I had as a kid. The Lonely Island - "Threw It On The Ground" I like some comedy music and this is one of my favorites from The Lonely Island. It's just so ridiculous and stupid in the best way. Weird Al Yankovic - "Pancreas" Speaking of comedy music, Weird Al is the classic master of parody music. However, this completely original song is one of my favorites from him for some reason. I've always thought of using it for an Invader Zim AMV (largely featuring the "Dark Harvest" episode). But after seeing I want to eat your pancreas, the song has taken a new twisted meaning in my mind. Blue Stahli - "ULTRAnumb" One of my favorite "techno" songs and one of the most HYPE songs I've ever heard. I just love this track! The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Aya Hirano) - "God Knows" Being the hardcore Suzumiya Haruhi fan that I am, there was no why that I could leave this song off. I also love "Lost My Music", but "God Knows" is just so damn iconic. Florence + The Machine - "No Light, No Light" Like many songs that I've discovered in the last 15+ years, I found out about this from an AMV. Nice song! PSYDOLL - "Spell" This is another band that I mentioned discovering in a weird way in this blog post. Starset - "Halo" It's really hard for me to pick one song from these guys. All of their stuff is rather great and their first album in particular has a very cinematic feel to it that is great as a single unit. I highly recommend listening to Transmissions from beginning to end. Their second album VESSELS is also rather great and available in its entirety on their official YouTube channel. "Telepathic" is one of my favorite songs from that album. Garbage - "Only Happy When It Rains" I like Garbage and this song in particular has always stuck with me. Even though I always knew that it is mostly meant in a metaphorical sense, I liked to take it literally as well. I liked to walk around in the rain a lot when I was younger and this song would always been in my mind. Even now, the song still pops into my mind when it rains. Rasputina - "The Olde HeadBoard" Rasputina was first introduced to me through the most significant friend that I ever met over the internet. Even though she was two years younger than me, I kind of saw her as an older sister. But I don't really want to get side-tracked with all that. This is a pretty interesting band which pulls a lot of inspiration from historical themes. I'm sure their style may seems a bit "ugly" to some people, but I think it's rather interesting and cool.

Winter 2019 Favorites Last updated: 10 / 3 / 2019 A new season, a new year. I wanted to approach things a bit differently and make blogs for the seasons of 2019. In these blogs I will talk about the Anime I watch, what I enjoy and what I didn't enjoy, the characters I like or dislike. Also will I briefly mention something about the opening and endings of every season. The year 2019 started off very strong with many good Anime. At first, I didn't really have much on my list that I planned on watching for this season, but as the first few weeks passed. I had to add more Anime to my list cause it dragged me in way too easily. From hillarious Romcom's to an edge-of-your-seat psychological horror/thriller, this season covered a lot of grounds for me and honestly it couldn't make me any happier with the lineup that I am watching. Let's get into my favorites of the Winter 2019 season! This season for me contained 8 new Anime, 4 Sequels and 5 continueing series. I will cover both the new Anime and the Sequels. Favorite new Anime of Winter 2019 1. Kaguya-sama: Love is War Undoubtly the most funny Anime I have seen in many years. The opening is really fresh, gives us a nice Jazz feeling. Also the opening animation is quite styleful. The comedy in Kaguya-sama is so well done, with a nice animation backing it up nicely. What makes Kaguya-sama so great is definitely the characters. The mind games between Kaguya and Miyuki is so funny to behold, trying to outsmart each other. However there's only one star here and that's Chika. She makes this show a damn masterpiece. [Current score: 10] - [Score after final episode: --] 2. Dororo If it wasn't for Kaguya-sama giving me so much joy, this masterpiece would have easily gotten 1st place. SPOILER AHEAD! However Dororo is quite the emotional ride! As you follow Hyakkimaru to slay demons to restore his body, you go from cheering him on to slay the demons, to crying when Mio is brutally killed together with the kids she took care of. Dororo is really an Anime not to be taken lightly as it's setting is quite dark and grim. [Current score: 10] - [Score after final episode: --] 3. Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Without a doubt the most hyped Anime of winter 2019 and it is to no surprise that I love it. So far the introduction is done really well and since it's a 2 cour Anime, I can't rate it fully yet, but the first impression is really good. Characters are great, very likeable (also some I hate). Soundtrack is done by Kevin Pelkin, which is just adding to the overall awesomeness of Tate no Yuusha. [Current score: 10] - [Score after final episode: --] 4. Yakusoku no Neverland The anime that makes me sit on the edge of my seat through the entire episode, every episode. The tension in Yakusoku is unreal, so unreal that eventho the Anime seems so slow paced (my only complaint), the episodes fly by like they are nothing. It leaves me with the feeling that I want more after each episode and then having to wait another week for the next episode can be considered torture. Opening is sick. Gotoubun no Hanayome The harem of the season with a mighty All-Star cast, with 4 of my favorite voice actors in Gotoubun, it automatically peeked my interest. The girls are all super cute! The opening is adorable with the voices of the voice actors and well, Miku is best girl (more on that later)! [Current score: 8] - [Score after final episode: --] 6. Domestic na Kanojo Oh boy, only by reading the synopsis I was honestly debating if I wanted to watch this or not. After 4 episodes had already aired, I finally gave it a shot and I am not having any regrets. Quality is not the greatest, however the whole situation Natsuo got himself in intrigues me. Like what are the odds of that happening? It's been enjoyable.. The Opening however, Oh my god is it powerful.. Like I can't understand Japanese at all, but you can just hear so much emotion in the opening and I suppose it fits the Anime well. [Current score: 8] - [Score after final episode: --] 7. Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka Another dark Magical Girl Anime and I love it. I like how it doesn't hold back on the gore and violence, it can get pretty brutal at times. I like the girls and their Magical Girl Uniforms, the main soundtrack is my favorite of the season, it's so catchy. Also the opening ROCKS, Love it! Watashi ni Tenshi Ga Maiorita Filling the void of UzaMaid from the fall 2018 season, also known as Wataten, it has a lot of simularities to UzaMaid, but it's way less disturbing on the "lolicon" business. [Current score: 7] - [Score after final episode: --] Favorite Sequels of Winter 2019 1. Mob Psycho 100 II There was no doubt that this would be the #1 sequel of 2019. We once more get to experience the development of Mob. In my opinion this season is better than the first. It's just awesome and Art-Style is still so god damn good. [Current score: 9] - [Score after final episode: --] 2. Date A Live III Now this was tough. I won't complain too much about the Animation and Art-Style. Two words: Simply Disappointing. When it was announced many years ago, I was so hyped. This was probably one of the first Harem anime I had watched and I quite enjoyed it. The 3rd season is actually pretty good when it comes to it's story. The opening is as good as you can expect from the same people who did the opening of the first two seasons. [Current score: 8] - [Score after final episode: --] 3. 3D Kanojo: Real Girl 2nd Season For the first season, I wasn't that impressed with it. However the 2nd season really picks up where it left off and made it a lot better. The characters are slowly learning how to deal with relationships, love is hard at times. It had a lot more moments that made me go "Awwww". [Current score: 7] - [Score after final episode: --] 4. Kakegurui×× On the bottom of the list of sequels is Kakegurui 2nd season, I am not a fan of gambling, some might say I am against it, but Kakegurui doesn't disappoint when it comes to funny facial expressions and Yumeko being absolutely nuts every time she's on screen. After all that makes her so loveable. [Current score: 7] - [Score after final episode: --] Favorite Characters of Winter 2019 *Not in ranking order* (Demon Lord) Milim Nava To start things off, I am going to mention an Anime from last season. It started in Fall 2018, however Milim was actually introduced in the second cour of the Anime, so it deserves to be in here. Milim is super adorable, she's powerful and holds quite the punch. Her sillyness reminds me a lot of Satania from Gabriel Dropout. So I thought TenSura deserves a mention here. Chika Fujiwara She sings, she dances, She raps, She slaps Ishigami with a newspaper. Nothing is too crazy for this girl. Chika Fujiwara became an internet sensation very rapidly. After being seen singing and dancing in a special ending theme for Kaguya-sama: Love is War her popularity skyrocketed. She's very cute and silly, but you shouldn't be underestimating her. Eventho she talks about herself having an IQ of 3, Chika is not to be taken lightly. Raphtalia & Naofumi Iwatani Raphtalia is just too adorable. She became quite the skilled warrior in a short time and is very loyal to Naofumi. Eventho she grows very quickly due to leveling up, she remains a child mentally and for this I really love how easily jealous she gets. After being betrayed by the spear hero, Naofumi had it tough. So far in Tate no Yuusha, his development is quite good. From treating his slave really good to being the only hero to save a small village from the wave. He's a good guy who deserves a lot more. I also ship him with Raphtalia. Miku Nakano Who would have thought that choosing a best girl could be so difficult, if you're dealing with quintuplets. Five girls, equally as pretty but different personalities. My personal choice would be Miku. Like her sisters, she's nicely developed and has blue eyes but also is the shy and reserved girl out of the 5 of them. That together makes her super adorable and has a blush to die for. Also that blue headphones suits her really well! Hyakkimaru Being born with a lot of body parts missing must have been terrible. As we follow Hyakkimaru on his journey to restore the parts he lost, it's nice to see him become more human from time to time. Especially when he ran into Mio, the girl who brought him a pleasant sound to listen to. Asuka Ootorii (Rapture Asuka) A strong Magical Girl who uses pistols and a sickle like weapon. She's cute and has blue eyes, which for some reason stands out a lot and a great body. She legit kicks ass. It's sad to see when PTSD kicks in for her and she's struggling on the battlefield. I hope she gets some more development later on in the Anime. Rui Tachibana Being the only short-haired girl on this list, Rui is also a more shy and reserved girl like Miku from Gotoubun. I really like her character, simply due to how she cares for her sister, eventho she doesn't always show it that she means it. She's also quite straightforward when it matters. *openings and endings yet to be added*

I've seen several reviews of various anime that have more male characters in them than female and the males happen to be good looking. In these reviews, the author mentions how it's a "gender targeted" anime, which, honestly, irks me. First of all, if we're going to make assumptions about what gender likes to watch what gender, wouldn't it be safe to say that nearly ALL anime is "gender targeted" toward hetero males? So when there's one "targeted" for either hetero females or gay males, is that really such a bad thing? I personally get tired of all the giant, bouncing boobs and micro skirts. It just bugs me that someone would complain about that. It's like complaining about the one dark chocolate candy in a bowl full of milk chocolate ones. "This chocolate is okay but it's clearly targeted toward those dark chocolate lovers." As if there's something wrong with that. Just a little rant.

~ Grading Scale ~ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ 10: Perfect

So far, I've only ever encountered one anime I deem to be truly perfect, and that's Aria the Origination. While others may have come close, no other series or film has ever quite hit this impossible mark for me. In the past, I was far more lenient with my scores, but after having experienced something of this caliber, I understand that it's important to respect the value of the "10" (for myself, at least). I hope to someday witness another anime I can confidently grant a perfect score to, but it'll have to defy all odds and live up to this incredibly high standard.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ 9 (A+): Brilliant

These are what I consider to be the cream of the crop. The best of the best. In some cases, even a masterpiece. These anime excelled in almost every area possible, and while they may have their few shortcomings in some regards, I'm able to look past them with no issues whatsoever. These will be among the first I recommend to anyone and everyone, as they were the series/films that left the most significant impact on me as a viewer.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ 8 (A-): Great

These anime were a pure joy to watch from start to finish. Very few flaws overall. They left a strong impression on me, performed their job as pieces of entertainment to great effect, and I found them to be highly memorable. These are series/films that I may even find myself occasionally thinking about days after completing them, and are always worthy of a rewatch down the line. Though these series may have lacked what it took to be brilliant in my eyes, just know that this still isn't a score I hand out lightly.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ 7 (B+): Good

Quite enjoyable overall. Though possessing a moderate amount of flaws and failing to leave a lasting impression on me, these series/films were well-executed in most regards, had no issues holding my attention, and were ultimately well worth the time spent watching them. Also, if I was able to binge a series, it'll most definitely receive a "7" at the minimum.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ 6 (B-): Decent

While I don't necessarily regret watching any of these, a "6" is rather forgettable at the end of the day. If I often found myself checking to see how long I had left in an episode, or simply didn't' feel like continuing on with the series for an extended period of time, the anime, in my opinion, usually doesn't deserve higher than this.

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ 5 or lower (C, F): Mediocre/Bad :(

If at any point I'm watching a series and think to myself "wow, this is terrible," I'm going to drop it. The same applies for situations where I'm bored out of my mind, I don't have any interest in continuing (nothing's gripping me whatsoever), or when things take a strange turn for the worse. I'm not going to spend my time watching something I'm not enjoying. Yes, I still assign scores to things I drop. Why? Because I can. If I drop an anime, I'll give it somewhere between a 1 and a 5, depending on how many redeeming factors I saw in it. Also, some shows from my childhood are scored at a 5 or lower, simply because they left no lasting impact on me whatsoever.

Exceptions to my scores: The aforementioned scores are a generalized way of how I go about scoring anime series. As I tend to have a fascination with all kinds of animation, I spend a lot of time digging around for shorts and other kinds of lesser-known projects (we can thank my discovery of Furiko for this, as it made me realize that you can tell a breathtaking story in under 5 minutes). Shorts and OVAs are almost exclusively capped out at a top score of "8", and at this point I've only ever made two exceptions to that rule.

My taste is my taste, and nothing will alter my opinion or score of a series/movie after I've finished it (other than perhaps my own personal reevaluation). Comments like "your taste sucks", etc. will be deleted, as I just don't have time for that kind of nonsensical debating. We all have our preferences, and if there's something I hated that you loved (or vice-versa), that's awesome for you! I'm glad you took something out of it that I didn't. Our differing opinions make the world go round, and arguing over it will inevitably go nowhere.

I'm not a completionist. As I stated before, I'm very quick to drop things that I don't find enjoyable. Though I usually choose what I watch based off either an intriguing plot or aggregate consensus, the score or popularity of a series isn't enough to keep me motivated to stick it out if I'm not enjoying it, and I'm not ashamed of that. I'm open to giving some shows a second chance, but I usually drop things for a reason. If I simply overlooked something, or there's just an amazing ending or second cour I didn't get to see, let me know! I'll definitely do my best to give it another shot later.

I do read manga, but not frequently enough to care about organizing a list. Maybe one of these days I'll put my manga list together, if I can remember exactly what all I've read.

Okay so, I watched all of the monogatari series in release order as people say that is how youre supposed to watch it. Now that I finished watching it I am very confused and have next to no idea what the story was about so im thinking of rewatching it. And now my question is: Should rewatch it again in the release order and try to pay more attention or should I just watch it in chronological order so it will make more sense cuz im dumb as shit. I appreciate your help, thanks!
