I was rewatching this anime for the third time this week because it is just so hilarious. I aboslutely love the individuality of all the characters. I love the chibi moments, I love their transformations and this anime is rare in the fact their the special was just as good as the anime even though a lot of it was fanservice. It was hilarious. I like the main couple, although the guy is slightly more perverted but definitely respects the girl during important scenes. The girl is strong, but she frustrates me a little during her tsundere moments, her unease and guilt after being mean to everyone. I think there were too many of those moments, so it drags on a little. I tend to not really like anything sexualised, but were a few moments like that in the anime but they didn't overpower any of the plot or humor so I didn't mind them that much. But all in all, SOOOOO many funny scenes, which makes this anime's rewatch value very high. Art and Music are both absolutely amazing, cannot stop listening to the opening. Love it.

Death Note ep 1 - 30 --> everytime I watch this anime, I am reminded of just how awesome the characters and the plot are. I am a huge fan of Light (even though he is evil) but I gain a lot of thrill from watching him screw everyone else over. Episode 31 onward gets boring because it focuses on the downfall of Light. I love Near, his cute but come on, L is a hundred times better. SKip Beat! --> this is my all time favourite anime and manga, it is legit such a good shoujo due to the strong female character and how SMART and SHOCKINGLY amazing the female character is. Every-time I rewatch it, Kyoko surprises me with her talents. There are sooo many funny moments in this anime. It goes against a lot of cliches of shoujo works, the main character is unable to love compared to other main characters that are too eager for love and come off as airheads. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! I wish there was a season two.... ayahhhh.. Special A --> individual characters are uniquely hilarious, typical shoujo plot-line but it is SOOOOOO funny, I cried in some episodes, (Episode 2 and 11) because it cracked me up so much. The drawing style is really unique but I got used to it straight away. It's one of those anime where you go on to youtube just to search up funny moments to brighten up your day. Maid-Sama --> main male and female lead = LOVE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH!!!! they are, yes typical of shoujo anime but they each have something unique about them that makes them so attractive. E.g. Usui, the male lead, is amazing in every way (of course), but he has a very monotone voice, so his jokes and flirting is just sooooo hilarious. The side characters (the idiot trio) left me in stitches. I LOVE the chibi, I love the development between the characters and of course, I love the female's strength. Just like Special A, I search up funny scenes from this anime all the time. Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun --> soooooo freaking funny, I died. Again, extremely unique characters, melodramatic scenes and chibi. The humor is different in this anime in the fact that the male lead isn't afraid of embarrassing himself, he usually does a whole heap of embarrassing things with an expressionless face. The side characters are just as amazing that sometimes you which there were spin-off seasons so you can just focus on the sides. REALLY hope they make a season 2. Kamisama Kiss --> Love Tomoe and Mizuki, they are so hilarious. I love a good deity/God related anime and I love familiars.There are some parts of this anime where the feels become quite strong, you really see the love between the characters grow. And of course, the funny moments are to die for Ouran Highschool Hostclub - Just fucking amazing and hilarious. No more need to be said. YES, I am a shoujo fan, but only for those anime with a strong heroine or one that isn't always clumsy and dumb, and a male that isn't too mean and contains some weird aspects or flaws.

So I'm gonna try to make these blogs weekly for the time being. I continued watching Nanatsu no Taizai throughout the week a bit, to the point where the group recruits Diana and Meliodas fights Gilthunder, which is fucking awesome in itself. I finished an episode of Naruto I've been meaning to watch, where he kinda goes Nine Tails mode on Haku and Sasuke uses his Sharingan. Hopefully the next episode builds up on the Nine Tails beat down. I decided that I wanted to watch Akame ga Kill, because it seemed like it fit the specific genre I enjoy. I couldn't resist myself and decided to start watching yesterday. As of typing this, I am finishing up the second episode of it, but have to wait for somebody to leave my house in order to continue. I really enjoyed how they made Night Raid seem like the bad guys at the beginning of their murder spree on the home the main character was staying at even though we, as viewers, know them as the good guys of the anime just from the title. They then continued by having the viewer's view of the situation completely backwards by showing how the family they murdered were evil. That's all I did this week on my very lazy attempt at accomplishing things. Please leave comments on my post or profile or something (I have no idea how this place works) giving me recommendations, critiquing my naivety in anime, or perhaps giving me a warm welcome into the community I will likely be banned from in a solid month.

Featured Anime Kaijuu no Ballad (Monster's Ballad) Released: 2007 Stats as of July 30, 2014 Weighted Score: 5.09 Ranking: #7064 Bottom 100 Ranking: #91 It has been quite a while since I've watched anything in my bottom 100 challenge list, and even though my bottom 100 list was compiled almost one year ago, I recently thought I should get back into it. This time, I watched a short, 2 minute music video. This was one entry that I skipped on my list the first time that I got to it, as I couldn't find any place to watch it. However, somebody has recently reuploaded it to YouTube, so I was able to take a gander at it. The music video consists of a tiny bird-like, almost chicken-like monster running around without much purpose. There isn't much of a story here, it's really mostly just a video to go along with the music. However, I'd also say the music is not really to my liking. It's not catchy, but it sounds like the kind of song that should be. By that, I mean there's not much complex instrumentation, and it sounds like the simple kind of tune that could get stuck in your head, but for whatever reason just doesn't and thankfully only ends up being annoying for the duration of the video. The animation kind of looks like shit, but is still intriguing. It is mostly limited animation using still-frame photographs. However, there's also a bit of stop-motion techniques put in there, which makes it seem rather unique and creative... innovative, even. Unfortunately it's only innovative in concept, though... as the end result just looks like a total mess (and not in the good way). Overall, It's an interesting idea for a music video, but in practice it ultimately fails to deliver on all of the ideas it has... and it's something that I wouldn't want to watch again or would recommend to anybody. I've never played the games, so I had no real frame of reference going into this. The plot is thin, but it basically involves the collecting of nine different Mahjong tiles. However, you won't know this until the very end. The storyline throughout the episode itself is slapdash and likes to jump around to different scenes without any real transition or explanation why. It spends most of it's time introducing each new character. The characters weren't terrible, but weren't anything too original, either. The acting for them was done well, and they were fun to watch on screen, but they're all such typical characters that it's hard to find any of them interesting or memorable. Overall, this wasn't good by any means, but it had it's moments. The animation was acceptable and on-par with other productions at the time of it's release... and while the characters are stereotypical, they still manage to be written decently enough to have a laugh or two.
