Your Lie in April [Review Thing]
Your Lie in April/Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso [Includes spoilers]
(I meant to post this a few days ago but better late than never!)
Your Lie in April. How do I even put this master work of art into words? Firstly, the deep themes of love, trust, and abuse were executed amazingly. I really enjoyed learning about Kousei's past piece by piece rather than all at once. Kousei Arima and Kaori Miyazono; The two main characters. I love them so, so much. I loved how Kaori inspired Kousei to play again and how Kousei had a huge impact on everyone's life-without even knowing it! All of this was so stunning, especially Kousei's path to playing the piano again. The ups and downs as his mother's ghost haunted him, and how he broke free of the ghost he had created. The art and animation were just beautiful. Everything was just stunning and beautifully colored. SO much effort and different colors were added; the creators worked really hard to make it amazing-and they succeeded! The soundtrack itself was also a work of art, and I have to call some of the OST's my all-time favorites. Then we have the music being played by the characters themselves. Everyone-every instrument playing character-put so much emotion and devotion into everything they played, and they took the viewer on a journey through their songs. It even made me jealous at how good everyone played. The characters-not just the main characters-are mostly relatable and fun. I enjoyed every single member of the cast and I didn't find myself strongly hating anybody. The lie: "Kaori likes Watari." The beautifully executed lie that punched Kousei in the heart, as well as most watching the show. I enjoyed the heart-wrenching love square between Kousei, Kaori, Tsubaki, and Watari. (Yes, I'm including Watari because he's an important factor into all of this) There was nearly perfect amount of flashbacks and character development to flesh everyone out. However, the one exception to this would be Watari. We don't really know much about his past, other than the fact that he likes to play soccer. If there was anything else, it didn't stick with me. I believe Watari wasn't as fleshed out as the other members of the cast. Next topic, Kaori's illness. The saddest part of the show. How Kousei was lifted from his "curse," only to have his past repeated. (I sobbed into my pillow during the last episode OML)
Overall, I believe this anime is a masterpiece. I am adding it to my top 10 list, and to my top 3 list. I rate this anime a 10/10.
What does everyone else think of this anime?

Fantasy MOE show.
I love Fate Kaleid and seeing all the characters be all moe and cute. Illy a from Fate Stat Night is actually kind of really serious as opposed to the MOE version. This brings me to wonder what kind of MOE characters I want to see.
I want to see a high school show with Yankere and tsunderes characters as the main cast. I would like MOE Koko, MOE Revy, MOE Esdeath, and MOE Asuka all as one group of friends. The club they start is a diverse set of activities like Haruhi Suzumiya. There is a cooking episodes, a beach episode, a bath house episode, magical girl episodes, cultural festival episode, going to a theme park episode, video game episode, school idol episode, sports episode, and some other ones. There that's 9 episodes and I just need three more to make a boat load of money.

Serial Experiments Lain - Episode/Layer Note
The following information is personal notes and insights that I have on the anime Serial Experiments Lain. So basically everything you read here IS Spoiler, but is also opinionated. Also what I write here is 'personal' journal-ling, and is not up for debate.
WEIRD - LAYER 01
Chisa felt that she did not have to stay in a world where she could not socially connect with others and feel accepted. She ended up committing suicide only to find out that there was a world within a world that had God in it. This world allowed her to not only materialize to Lain in the real world but also to make her disembodied presence known through emails within the Wired.
Lain begins noticing glitches in reality and this causes her to become more familiar with her Navi machine after hearing about Chisa's ghostly emails. She logs into her Navi out of curiosity to see if she was also linked through Chisa's email chain.
Lain wants an upgraded Navi machine in order so that she can become better connected with Chisa who she refers to as her friend when asking about a computer upgrade to her father.
The girl who got hit by the train in Lain's vision of the train-tracks was linked to her psychic vision or premonition when she saw the blood dripping from the telephone pole wires, but that also symbolized the activity within the Wired "leaking" into the real world from within the Wired (telephone wires) like blood. Lain heard about another female students' suicide not long after the train-track vision, showing that Lain was connected psychically to the girls death before it even happened.
GIRLS - LAYER 02
Accela is a new smart supplement that is being sold and talked about across the Wired. It alters a certain hormone making the brains' sense and perception of time seem accelerated.
When Mika asks Lain who she was talking to her in her room, Lain's response was questioning. Mika continues to tell her that it was her little imaginary friend. Lain had been unconsciously communicating out loud to Chisa ever since the email, which was who Mika was calling her imaginary friend.
Lain is invited out with her three friends to hang out with them at Cyberia, it is there Lain's friends thought that they seen Lain, but with a personality that was 180 degrees opposite.
Lain is told by the three kids at Cyberia that she will get spotted by the Information Control. The IC refers to the agents that monitor the movements of those who are connected to the events that occur throughout the real world through the prophetic information that first originates from within the Wired, which Lain is both linked to, and also is becoming more familiar of.
The information within the Wired is like prophetic words that leak out as real events within the real world. To this, Lain says to a guy who ended up going on a killing spree inside Cyberia, before killing himself, that no matter where anyone went, everyone's always connected. This goes back to the IC being like the FBI of the internet that monitors and spies on all existing information and activity that first originates from within the Wired, before it leaks out into the real world as actual events.
When Lain got the message on her phone device that someone would pass on. It was referring to one of the girls who got shot at Cyberia, in whom she saw in the hallway after school in one of her visions / premonitions. Lain is linked to the prophecies that are within the Wired before they become actual events.
(To be continued.)
