The first 2016 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine (cover pictured at right) revealed on Monday that the next issue will feature an "important announcement" about Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki's Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma manga. The second 2016 issue of the magazine will ship in Japan on December 14. The announcement will mark the third anniversary of the manga's launch. The series' upcoming chapter will feature color pages to celebrate the announcement. The manga centers on Sōma, who works with his dad at his family's restaurant. His dad is a culinary master, and he often hosts cooking battles with his father. His father then enrolls him in an elite culinary school that is very difficult to enter, and the graduation rate is only about 10 percent. Crunchyroll streamed the anime adaptation as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for North America. The series received an event anime about the Aldini brothers in November. Viz Media publishes the original manga in North America. The Shokugeki no Sōma: Yūjō to Kizuna no Hitosara (Shokugeki no Sōma: The Dish of Friendship and Bonds) Nintendo 3DS game will ship in Japan on December 17.

Oh gosh so much, I've been so busy I haven't had time to really go on here besides like the past couple of weeks to update lists. Since Ive been on, I moved twice since May, entered Senior year, auditioned and made it into my schools top jazz group. Oh also applied to the Art Institute and some other art schools, I realized drawing is way better for me than going into science or engineering. I want to become an animator, or do claymation or however you say it. Although I wanted to do marching band in college, I think I should just abandon that dream/wish. If I go for art, I can't play in a more professional band than high school. Theyll both be incredibly time consuming. I'll still play my trumpet though, I'll go ahead and practice till there's a day somebody says I can no longer do it lol. Anyways going to do track again, tennis was a horrible season for me this time around, coach always benched me for no reason, and my teammates were all stuck up as hell. Track is always fun, nobody cares about who is who it's great, nobody is against you as much when you're a thrower. Gained the nickname "Sunflower" and "Mother Hen" haha. I become the voice of reason for my group of friends lol. Oh also left another site, it was very negative there and I knew like three people. I hated going back, I should have left a week later for good, when I came back and spent time on there again I accidentally adopted their way of thinking like they were sad and depressed most days, I don't know now I feel less horrible, like being around that many jerks or idiots it was like oh what's going to happen next, also some of them were hypocrites too. Like hey are we friends and I'd be like maybe but then when something happened and I needed them they immediately acted like they never knew me. Plus a handful of them were younger, and if not all of then seeked out attention almost all of the time. Anyways I feel better forcing myself to not be there, I don't care. They can all forget me if they want. I need to move on in life at this point, for Pete's sake I can't hang around there forever on old memories. None of my old friends were there by the time I actually decided to come back, and the ones that stayed weren't the friends I remembered them being. People grew up too. Besides all that Mumbo Jumbo, I got on DeviantArt my name is Allyplaystrumpet there. I drew a sick Beedrill and Sharpedo fusion that I put up there. I edited that a lot, idk I think it looks cool. I realized lately that I need a better home collection of books because right now it's pretty bare looking, some Stephen King, Harry Potter series collection, and just fairy tales and fantasy novels and romance/fantasy. Also a multitude of ghost stories. Pretty lame stuff, I need better books. I also want to get Manga in my book shelves too haha. Oh so I want to collect Pokémon cards again, reason why is because I left off when I was younger at the beginning of the black and white series. That was a while ago lol. I recently only got 3ds games, only two though, Zelda: Majoras Mask and Yo-Kai Watch. They're fun but I want more haha. Alsk this year my dad okay ed saving up to go with my school band to California. I'm so excited it happens in April :3 That's pretty much it for now haha

Random Rant about today's Anime People

* THIS IS MORE OF A RANT * I started watching anime mainstream late 2008 where i was still a tweet and though "To love Ru" is funny and didn't get what sub dub was. I quickly became a small member of the Otaku life, so I though that the comedy in every anime was something cliched as from tripping on a girl viewing her panties or accidentally touching someone's melons. I was stuck in this culture of Echi genre anime(s). I though "To love ru" was the greatest comedy of all times neglecting of the sexual aspects ( that time i didn't understand about Sexual shows). A years later, one of my friends told me that i should watch Gintama. So you guys are probably reading this review with a reaction like " WHAT HECK IS THIS GUY TALKING ABOUT ? TO LOVE RU ? ". So what does Gintama has to do with to love ru ? Well to start off: Thanks to Gintama, I am a person of different view on otaku and on different anime genres. How so? Gintama thought me many things about cultures. Its comedy was so "new" to me that i understood the beauty of comedy. I quickly got attached to some of characters that were known as "Trolls of the show". I made it my most favorite anime of all time till this day! Even the Author is trolling us. And than I realized that the comedy from "To love Ru" or similar were just fake outs for little viewers have some of the pleasure(perverted). Now hold on... That's pretty disgusting right ? I mean some people have preferences but the Echhi genre is almost everywhere. It made me sick that the anime studios do not look up to low fan service anymore. Of course there are many other anime that do no offer such thing. But if you compare it with the amont of ecchis. Its unbelievable. So why Gintama? Gintama is one of those shows that makes fun of the mistakes that anime industries are making or were making. I am not saying that perverts watch ecchi but i do say that for those who do watch ecchi for bewbz are those Otakus on pervert level of 100. Than there are some other anime that were made just for fan service so i picked "To love ru"! From loving the show up to hating it. My point is that people should change their preferences not because of the anime they are watching. But on why they are watching it and are you willing to risk your life to spend on bewbz everyday ? Lets talk more about Gintama. Not saying its the greatest or it deserves more respect. But i am trying to say that a show with anything BUT fanservice or limited fanservice should be used more in anime industries a bit more that the society view on anime as "Art of story and comedy etc..." rather than " BIG BEWBZ". You can hate me for making this rant but i just wanted to let out my opinion! Hate me or even kill me ! i am here to let out my voice!

Day 15 - Most Shocking or Epic Anime Scene Ever The most shocking scene for me ever was when I first watched School Days, the last episode with the murder scene because I never played the game or even knew they would put something like that into a school life/love life type of anime hehehe! When I first watched it I was shocked at it but I found it really funny since it was so unexpected. As I was watching it I just burst out laughing at how messed up it was and my mom was like whats so funny? and im just like she just stabbed the shit out of her boyfriend.. my mom is just like WTF? lol Haaaaaa... its still a good memory even though the majority of people hate that show xD

10 Cool Anime I Saw in 2015

Confession: I saw a crap ton of anime this year. One thing that bloggers who watch a lot of anime do is make lists of the top 10 shows they saw airing that year. But since the majority of my anime knowledge comes from what I saw this year, I thought I’d also make a top 10 non-2015 shows I saw this year. I’m gonna put up lists like that at the end of the month. For now, I’m gonna list 10 other great anime I saw this year, in no particular order. It’s not the top 10, though I’d say at least one of these entries would be right at home there (not telling which). Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex The quintessential cyberpunk anime. The thing that took me most with this show was the aesthetic. The art style is sharp and brightly colored, rather than the darker tones I’d have expected, and Yoko Kanno’s soundtrack is stunning. The content doesn’t slack off either. Episodic plots do a great job of building this unique setting, and the Laughing Man story arc is a wonderful exploration of media influence as well as an entertaining drama. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai Translated: “I have eighth-grader syndrome but I want to fall in love” Yes, I was one of those kids who pretended to live in a poorly-defined magic system. And Chuuni′s fight sequences make that dream into a reality. This show is constantly entertaining comedy, but also an honest story about kids who regret being a dork in middle school, and get confronted with it every day. I haven’t seen the second season (I hear it’s too far on the comedic side), but the first twelve episodes are a must-see for former chuunibyous. Mushishi Wow, three shows I haven’t finished the second season of in a row. Mushishi is the type of TV show Studio Ghibli would make (though it’s actually animated by Artland). There’s no grand story, there’s no rich mythology. It’s a show about people being people in a world with mythical creatures, and all of the darkness that can lead to. It’s an anime everyone should try, at their own pace. Suisei no Gargantia Gen Urobuchi writes Flushed Away. A great story about two worlds; both are different from our own, but both come across as understandable and reflective of human instincts. Each clash between Ledo’s built-in values and the freedom that Gargantia has to offer came off really well to me. While the resolution and characterization are often criticized, they didn’t get in the way of my enjoyment of the ideas and emotions Suisei no Gargantia had to offer. Serial Experiments Lain One of the best known mind-screw anime. Lain has the kinds of images that would play in your head while someone described to you a weird show they watched. At the same time, Lain is the story of a young person, and possibly a whole world, struggling to hold on to their identity and relationships as technology marches forward. Both are the type of thing I like to see. Kyousougiga We’ve all made mistakes that have hurt the people close to us. Has one of those mistakes ever made you want to erase everything around you? Erase everything about yourself? At its core, Kyousougiga is a story about running away, and that no matter how far you’ve gone, you can always come back. It’s also colorful, confusing, funny, and cute. One of the broadest recommendations I can give. Samurai Champloo My first Watanabe show, and it did not fail to impress. This episodic adventure contains amazing fight scenes, brilliant relationships, and some of the most excitingly wacky joke episodes out there. A must-see for fans of episodic adventures. Kids on the Slope Kids on the Slope isn’t a creative explosion like Watanabe’s originals. It’s a dramatic slice-of-life, centered on a three-person friendship. Throughout, the people and situations are both heightened and realistically portrayed, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. I followed Champloo with this, and I’m glad I did. The two sides of Watanabe’s 8 year gap, together, make one of the best viewing experiences I’ve had. Shin Sekai Yori The go-to dystopia show. World building, storytelling, and atmosphere are near perfect. The show does a really good job of laying out its rules and history while still putting the viewer’s focus on the characters. The ending is certainly shocking, but in a way that greatly satisfies the build up. Eureka Seven This show is just plain impressive. What starts out as a retro episodic mecha adventure turns into a beautifully animated epic, stocked with a great cast of characters, a surprisingly cohesive story line, and stunning emotional and musical hooks.
