Евангелион - аниме, про которое написано и сказано уже, наверное, не меньше, чем про "Илиаду" Гомера. Зачем писать о нём ещё больше? Да ни зачем, на самом деле. Я не считаю, что данная блогозапись имеет под собой какую-либо литературную ценность; это просто-напросто моё мнение насчёт этого произведения, изложенное здесь ради удобства тех, кто им интересуется (мнением, то бишь).
Итак, сначала и по порядку. Сразу проясню, что "Еву" я смотрел, имея за плечами не так много тайтлов - около 30, но на момент написания этого отзыва их примерно 150, так что, я считаю, мне есть с чем сравнивать.
NGE, безусловно, - важный вклад в аниме-индустрию, в частности - в её популяризацию. Всё-таки нет рекламы лучшей, чем безграничная фагготрия и холивары. С другой стороны, в качестве произведения искусства, этот тайтл не является ценным ни разу. Не в том смысле, что это мусор вроде Tokyo Ghoul, а в том, что это обычная повседневность про человеческие отношения и их характеры.
Ева - не более, чем аниме про несчастного отца, несчастного от того, что сын его - тряпка и неудачник, неспособный решиться ни на какой поступок серьёзнее почёсывания яиц, или чего-то вроде того. "Ты ничего не понимаешь, это же ЕВАНГЕЛИОН! Его пилотировать очень сложно, в нём душа его матери!!!", - это всё не важно, на самом деле. Всего лишь подходящий фон для отображения худших сторон человека, вернее - главных героев.
Икари Синдзи - как упомянуто выше, неудачник и тряпка, латентный гомосексуалист и онанист. Панически боится своего отца. Почему? "Потому что иди нахер, зритель, вот почему", - даёт свой комментарий представитель Гайнакс.
Сорью Асука - малолетняя развратница, страдающая психическими расстройствами из-за детской травмы - повесившейся матери.
Мисато Кацураги - девушка не особо тяжелого поведения, пивная алкоголичка, в которой порой просыпается восточный философ в моменты особо сильной нужны в превозмогании Синдзи.
И так далее, и тому подобное.
"Это же ЧРЕЗВЫЧАЙНАЯ СИТУАЦИЯ, постапокалипсис! В таких условиях никак иначе!", - слышатся голоса в моей голове.
Моё мнение таково: ничегошеньки бы не изменилось, будь это не Токио-3, Евы и Второй удар.
Представьте себе ситуацию. Вторая мировая война. Генерал Гена Икарьев вызывает своего сына Стаса на передовую, потому, что катастрофически не хватает артиллеристов. Далее всё предоставляю вашему воображению. Что-то изменится? НЕТ!
Так что к чёрту синдром поиска глубинного смысла, толку от него ноль, а все найденные отсылки ко всяким Фаустам - не более, чем пасхалки и плоды больной фантазии создателя.

Hair
Sherwood has blonde hair, the usual in her family. Sadly her hairstyle is not as beautiful as Hime’s hair was; rather she dons a not that long ponytail. This is a rare ojou drill ponytail however, which helps but that much. Her bangs are like Reiri’s but facing instead the other side, though she also has a white pin for bonus cute points. Sadly nothing that saves her hair, which is not bad but is still unappealing.
Grade: B-
Eyes
Sherwood has red eyes like her sister. In fact both sisters have the same eye shape and the same slit pupils too, so there is that. Luckily Sherwood lacks the eyelashes, but of course she still lacks glasses. Shame, as she should match Francisca and wear some proudly. Otherwise you know how this goes by now.
Grade: A+

Sherwood is clearly loli. This is good and not just because I like lolis, but because this adds some nice variety with the rest of the cast. Sure she looks older than her age, but since she is fairly young this works in a Nanoha and Fate sort of way. She had fairly modest breasts but still nice legs and a flat stomach. However, if Sherwood is best known for something that would be her feet! See, while Hime gives blood or flame using her fingers Sherwood uses her toes instead, and thus shows off her cute feet for this often. Is pretty nice and makes her look dommier. Sadly Sherwood does have one flaw and is the series shows her as a grown-up twice via Hime to the future. Luckily both cases are as part of serious plots so there is not much emphasis on this except briefly bringing up Sherwood is taller than her sister now. Plus we got Hime the cute middle school loli for balance, which is more than most shows would do. Still, the bad habit of making lolis grow has to stop unless is “grow” like giantesses. That should get more common.

Sherwood is like her sister and only ever wears one dress. The dress is black and very similar too, only Sherwood lacks the detached sleeves and her boots are white. And being fair in the future she wears a slightly different dress that resembles more the costume used by her elder sister Sylvia instead. And that is pretty much that.

Mind
Personality
Sherwood is the youngest sibling of the royal family Hime also belongs to. While some times she opposes her sister, most of the time they are shown to have a strong bond of sisterhood and can rely on each other. Which is nice, as Sherwood set her mansion at the opposite side of the hill Hime set hers on. She also has her eyes set on Hiro due to how well he performs albeit she has her own blood warrior, a panda. Bet she would get along great with another ojou that loves pandas. While she is part of the sibling battle to take the throne she is not a powerful fighter, as just resembling Fate is not good enough requirement to be able to wield huge swords, so she just gives orders. The plotline that has Hime sent to the future has Sherwood and Sylvia as sole survivors, and the future version of Sherwood roots for her sister to go back and win the thing. Despite such support Sherwood still wins, but everything works out for all three sisters so go awesome endings and all that.
As mentioned Sherwood fights by giving orders to Ryuuryuu, the panda blood warrior mentioned before, and Francisca, the meganekko robot maid on her side. She is the single meganekko in the series I think, boo! Luckily Sherwood is smart and does concoct good plans, but she can still be childish and naïve at times. In general that defines well her personality, being basically a child TDB and it shows. Nothing bad since this makes her cute, but is not as impressive as proper TDBs are. She is still very proud, of course. Too bad she lacks awesome fighting skills like the other main girls since all the awesome battling girls from the series are one of its main draws. Such things aside Sherwood is cute and charming girl, but not on Hime’s level for now.

Libido
Sherwood likes Hiro, like all the girls in the cast though she is the only one younger than him which is a boon. Sadly she has the least screentime with him if mostly as overall her screentime is lower too. She comes as a dom girl in training, meaning occasionally she looks imposing, but at times kinda silly. That said I like how the standard finger blood offering Hime does in Sherwood is a toe blood offering, very likely implying you should be under her feet. Sounds good.

Worse, when Hime gets sent to the future, and when she later gets sent back to the future, there Sherwood is already 18, so she manages to avoid my ideal ranges twice in what we could name maybe Nanoha Syndrome as the lead trio did the same. And then Fate did worse because A-1 should be just -1 instead. Anyway Sherwood likes an older guy so thankfully she has good things too, just not enough to save her score.

Voice
Ai Shimizu has a nice voice for lolis, so she works well for Sherwood as expected. Just like last week the OVA actually upgrades her to Ayana Taketatsu, who could use more good roles in good shows to balance usually lacking one or the other. And much like with Hime sadly Sherwood lacks ojou speech, oh well.

The anime adaptation is supposed to be at least SOMEWHAT censored since they didn't wanna make it full-blown hentai (which would have saved ME a lot of trouble, personally) but it doesn't really feel that way, which is kinda a double-edged sword???

What is a blog again?
I've never written a blog before so this is only for experimental purposes, as my otaku self of course, but experimental nonetheless. I am currently watching bleach to which I am in love, shit is going down as there is a scandal about someone's death. I shan't be telling any spoilers as it can ruin the experience for watchers of this AMAZINGLY AWESOME KAWAII SERIES. I'd recommend it, even though I'm only on episode 48, but that's besides the point of its kawaiiness (yes that's a word, made up or not, it counts!). Just for the readers information, I am crazily insane, and this blog is being written at 2am so my mind thinks this makes sense, when it probably is actually nonsense. (That last part was intended to not make sense)

Thoughts on Nisekoi
This story was pretty good up until the end where they left everything totally open ended! There is a season 2, but I read that it doesn't really resolve any of the issues in season 1. So... I don't think I will be watching this one again, even though I really liked the characters, especially Onodera, she was great, but never had the courage to actually say how she felt which was totally lame-sauce
