Another two new series off of the list. One a toss-back and one a keeper, so far.
“Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou” - category: monster boob harem. The first episode of the anime captured the stupidity of the manga series perfectly. This show about a schmuck and his harem of sex-starved monster girls has no pretensions and is proud of that. Inoffensive idiocy. Dropped. Rating: C.
“Overlord” - category: MMO wish fulfillment. A droll adaptation of a droll manga adaptation of a light novel series about an MMO player who somehow becomes his maxed-out avatar in a real fantasy world. As long as it doesn't start to take itself seriously this anime could be a good bit of beer-and-popcorn summer fun. Rating: B.
