As usual, I'll try a fair number of the new series and also skip a large number of the new series. Here are my thoughts about the upcoming series:
“Charlotte” - High school super-powers series. I'm dubious, but maybe the writers will prove me wrong, so I'll check out at least the first episode.
“Makura no Danshi” - WTF? - nah, no chance. Someone else can “Take One For The Team” on this one.
“Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou” - This concept started out as a short, nasty, cynical and very funny x-rated webtoon. Then the author Sold His Soul and it became an echi but stupid rom-com manga. I'll try the first episode in the vain hope that it might be better than the manga, but my expectations are near zero.
“Suzakinishi The Animation” - One of those concepts that makes no sense to me – why turn a radio show into an anime instead of a live action TV show? I can't see any reason to bother trying this one out.
“Okusama ga Seito Kaichou!” - Dumb premise and dull manga, but I'll probably try out the first episode.
“Gangsta” - My bet is that this will be a bad action series, but it is worth a try out anyway.
“Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Sen'eki” - RPG adaptations usually don't turn out well, but I'll try this one out anyway.
“Aquarian Logos” - Not bothering – nothing in the rest of the “Aquarian” franchise has done anything for me.
“Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace” - High school mysteries usually suffer badly in comparison with Meitantei Conan in my mind, but I'll try this one anyway.
“Danchigai” - Not bothering – a guy with four sisters...
“Aoharu x Kikanjuu” - Cross-dressing and survival games... not promising but I'll give it a try anyway.
“Joukamachi no Dandelion” - absurd premise but maybe it will surprise me so I'll try an episode.
“Hetailia The World Twinkle” - nope, no chance. The “Hetalia” series leaves me totally cold.
“Ushiro to Tora (2015)” - the original OAV series didn't do much for me, but I'll try this just to see what the update is like.
“Miss Monochrome The Animation (2015)” - Nope...I'll “miss” this one gladly
“Wooser no Sono Higurashi Mugen Hen” - The second “Wooser” series was a bit of a let down, but I still expect that this third series will be more entertaining than most of the rest of the Summer 2015 new series put together, so I will watch it.
“Wakaba Girl” - Moe-crap, so no thanks.
“Gate: Jietai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri” - I don't have high expectations, but maybe this can surprise me.
“Classroom Crisis” - I would normally skip a high school slice-of-life without a thought, but according to the blurb on MAL this is actually a sci-fi story, so I'll check out the first episode.
“Senki Zesshou Symphogear GX: blah, blah, blah...” - Nope – not interested. The “Simpleton-gear” franchise does nothing for me.
“Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai” - Moronic premise, but I'll check out the first episode just in case there is any intelligence behind the comedy.
“Durarara!!x2 Ten” - Nope, no more Durararararararararararararara for me.
“Working!!!” - Nah, I don't need to see more of this. The first season was tolerable but totally forgettable.
“Gatchaman Crowds Insight” - I liked the first season a fair amount, although it did irritate me a bit in the last third. I'll be watching this in the hopes that it can regain some of the imagination of the first half of the first season, but it is a bit worrisome that the trailer is just a spiel from two of the voice actresses.
“Rokka no Yuusha” - This has a promising premise and the trailer looks pretty good, but it is a light novel adaptation, so that is never a good sign. I'll try it anyway and see if it can get past its roots.
“Venus Project: Climax” - Idol crap – no thanks.
“Wakako-zake” - This ultra-short looks interesting, but 3-minute shows are often hard to find.
“God Eater” - Game adaptation, and the trailer suggests that this is one of those shows where the characters shout all of their lines, but I'll try out the first episode anyway.
“Akagami no Shirayukihime” - Shoujo action adaptation from “LaLa DX” manga magazine. It will probably be as dull as cold oatmeal, but I'll give it a try anyway.
“To Love-Ru: Trouble – Darkness 2nd” - For some reason this p.o.s. just keeps on going, but I'm not bothering with it.
“Teekyuu 5” - Nope – another “bad penny” series that keeps on coming back.
“Million Doll” - More Idol Crap – no thanks.
“Jitsu wa Watashi wa” - Adaptation of a dumb and dull manga, so I'm not sure why I am trying this out, other than to say that I did...
“Non Non Biyori Repeat” - Nope, what I saw of the first season was more than enough.
“Kaijuu Sakaba Kanpai!” - This looks a bit interesting, but I doubt that I will be able to find it amongst the “usual suspects”.
“Overlord” - Yet another “Trapped in a Game World” series, but I will try it out anyway.
“Sore ga Seiyuu” - No thanks – no seiyuu comedies for me.
“Bikini Warriors” - “Title of the Year”, but I'm not going to bother despite that.
“Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan” - The trailer alone is enough to suggest that this will be crap, but I'll try an episode anyway.
“Junjou Romantica 3” - Nope – no chance.
“Himouto! Umaru-chan” - Gag comedy with a bit of potential. I'll try it and see if it goes anywhere.
“Gakkou Gurashi!” - Probably the most bizarre premise of the season. The question is – will it be a smart comedy or not? I'll try it to see.
“Prison School” - Adaptation of a Dumb-and-Dull manga. I'm not bothering with it.
“Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Second Series” - Nope. I'm not bothering with any of the “IdleMasterbate” series.
“Fate/Kaleid” Linear Prisma Illya Zwei Herz” - Another series that does nothing at all for me, so I won't bother with it.
