When I was around 13 years old, I found out that I could watch Anime on the internet. I had already gone through all the Dragon Ball books released at my friends house, and bought the last ones when they came out, and I got the first volume of Naruto and One Piece. Since I enjoyed the Manga, but didn't know where to get all the previous volumes that are not sold in the stores, the Anime on the internet was something I quickly got addicted to. Having read all the Dragon Ball books, I didn't watch the Anime, but I started watching Naruto, as many episodes I could whenever I got the opportunity. And I liked Anime better than reading the books. After I caught up with the episodes, and went from 80ish episodes a week down to 1, I looked around and had nothing to do.
Looking for other series, I started with Bleach, and also watching the new releases of Naruto weekly, and after Bleach I watch One Piece. I started hardcore gaming as well. Years later, I became more casual with the gaming, and filled my time more and more with Anime again, starting with Fairy Tail followed by a new Anime every now and then. Sometimes I finished the Anime in one day, other times in a few weeks. I also started with Manga again, this time online.
After finishing off the Anime I found interesting, I started watching those I earlier didn't find interesting, and figured that I was wrong, many of them was better than expected. That's when I started to pile up a "plan to watch list" that keeps growing even to the present day!
