Zankyou no Terror - Completed 07/02/2015
Thoughts and Verdict I can't say that ever since I have watched Psycho-Pass have I been so overly absorbed in an Anime before. Zankyou no Terror is the arguably the best series I am ever likely going to be able to watch, in it's genre. Why, you might ask, well let me tell you, the story is amazing, well written, coherent, and will have you standing on your tippy toes. I don't want to give away any of the story since it is really amazing, and giving you the background might put you off to the story, but really watch it! The characters are a few but they are more fleshed out than in many of the longer animes I have seen. Each is given a back story, a moral compass, and a personality, that usually takes shows like Nagi no Asukara about 20-ish episodes to fully develop, but this show manages it. The tone is very serious, comedy is null, if any and reflection both on ethics, and each characters past is a very central theme. The characters are so life-like it's astounding. The art is just fantastical, yes I mean it, the drawing is so well done that you'd be thinking you were watching a movie, but no! The ending is really what helps me secure this anime's rating in the league of shows that you need to watch before ANYTHING ELSE, you'll be glad you did. Final thoughts, this is clearly a 10 in my books, and I hope you will enjoy this show as much as I did.
