I know its all about one's perception but I have been coming across quite a number of people who hate FT. I know its not among the best there is but come on! Fairy Tail does not deserve all the hate it gets in totality.
So, why do people hate fairy tail?
- Protagonists never losing.
- Claims for it to be a spoof of One Peice.
- Friendship and Camaraderie power up + plot armor and ***pulls
- Ecchi content
- Poor writing just because of a few incidents in the story
- Etc. And also because of some OPtards and people who consider it girly.
Here's my response:
First of all, there has been a large tendency of people dropping FT after the GMGs. Indeed, some fights were poorly written but there was plot progression with new subjects and mysteries introduced (abt Acnologia, Future Timelines, etc.) and you can't deny it. Some people called it BS and dropped the series. Impatience.
Natsu and co. do not lose a fight. The victories are justified in most of the cases though.
Vs Jellal- Etherion
Vs Hades- Lightning power up and little help from his nakama
Vs Sting and Rogue- He was just too strong for them with 2nd origin and if you read the manga, their DF was merely an illusion and they could not master it - Apparently, no one has.
Vs Mard Geer- Gray did most of the job. Igneel leaving Natsu's body was an indicator that he could go DF.
The only fights I have problems with are Erza vs Minerva and Erza vs Kyouka and Natsu vs Brain.
OPtards should stay out of this because you folks dont see where FT is and where OP is. If you compare FT with OP, as per the corresponding chapters (432) lets talk about it.
Luffy was too OP for his foes and ya'll liked it. When Natsu is OP for his foes ya'll rant.
Admit it! Critcally FT has had more progression between these chapters than OP.
And yeah, OP teaches you to keep your bonds strong and FT shows the extent of how strong those bonds can be.
If Luffy can cross his limits and get a new power up out of nowhere (2nd Gear) why cant Natsu?
As much as i love OP's greatness i have to admit that OP is in the league of its own. OP is completely an adventure. FT is also an adventure but more of a moral guiding series which includes fights and a shounen plot.
You cant complain just because you dropped the series. You've got room to complain if you still continue.
FT does not have a bad writing at all. This comes from a person who wrote Rave Master. NOW when the manga seems technically serious, they complain again. Seriously, deal with it!
FT having ecchi content and less gore and deaths does not bother me at all because at the end of the day FT has to be FT and not other manga with its own characteristics.
People complain because they don't understand the series seriously. There is more to the plot than they can think of. Read the Manga! Justify your thinking! And dont act like hypocrites!
I've got more to say but it feels like Im making this too long.
Well, tell me what bothers you folks and I will try to clear it.
